Actually, a lv 6 togepi with metronome can destroy morty's gengar. His moves are shadowball, wich can't hit you, sucker punch, which has no effect if you use metronome, hypnosis which only puts you ti sleep and that One move which prevents you from switching pokemons

After all of the times I've heard people defend Silver, saying that he "redeemed" himself at the end of HG/SS, this video shows how unbelievably wrong they are. It's as if the people either forgot how Silver is still a huge jerk than they can remember, or they've decided to ignore that out of pity from Silver's relationship with Giovanni. And people thought Blue was more hateable.
I know he’s still a jerk at the end of the game, but the reason I find Silver to be the best rival in the series is because he’s more of one than the later ones. (Let me give you these Revives! With them, you’re guaranteed to never lose!) He was abandoned by his father, and went to become strong on his own. Yes, he did some bad things But at least he offered to return the Pokémon he stole and even if he was a jerk I still like him for learning that Pokémon is more about love and trust. Here’s a sin for ya: Skarmory is one of the most awesome and best Pokémon in the competitive scene, of course that isn’t the sin, the sin is that if you’re playing Heartgold and wanna catch it, you’re out of luck because Skarmory can only be found in Soulsilver.

I totally agree! His Pokémon or nine levels higher than the last gym leader and there aren’t enough trainers to get to that high of a level. One of the things I hate in any RPG is LEVEL GRINDING. I don’t know if you just went to the Alola region or not but one thing is for sure: I hate battling him! Even if I have a good counter, I always end up beating him by just the skin of my teeth!

I think there should've been more sins added to how Whitney, and Clair are depicted in the games since they have likeable personalities in the anime I mean Whitney in the anime doesn't act like whiny spoiled brat when Ash beat her in the rematch, and Clair in the anime has a great personality not only acting as sort of a pseudo-mentor to Ash to get him to see he doesn't know everything, along with after beating her tells Ash that the Johto League would be his toughest challenge at that point in time.
The reason you can't battle Caitlin was because when she lost a battle her psychic abilities would erupt due to her temper and cause a lot of damage so Darach had to battle in her place, that was revealed sometime in Pokemon Black and White.

Yeah but if you fight every trainer, I don't think that much grinding is required for that. But some randomizers have it even worse, like, trainers have higher lvl Pokemon in those!

Hey, the initial comment in this chain is correct. If you transfer the message held by Webster's Spearow to one of your Pokémon, the message's recipient will only take the mail, allowing you to keep the Spearow that came with it. Also, if you have a strong bond of friendship with Kirk's Shuckle, when you go to give it back to him, he'll notice the strength of your bond and let you keep it.
I’m not a Sword and Shield hater, just so you know. And I actually am quite excited for those games! I’m just saying. Yes I am a bit upset about the National Dex being removed, but if I were a hater I wouldn’t like being called toxic (although I know you don’t like how they’re overreacting) and expect to just absorb it. Honestly knowing everything we know about the franchise, it's heavily implied that the only reason Silver is nice to his team so quickly is because they f---ed. Which is even more horrifying when you realize that's probably the reason why the stolen pokemon didn't evolve but his did.
@@meta527II I'm not going to explain in detail over youtube because it's a DEEPLY inappropriate subject but i'll go over the cliffnotes 1) Silver is a villain with no qualms about breaking the law or hurting others 2) Pokemon evolve from friendship, which is why they can't evolve in the wild or with a shitty trainer 3) The turnaround time was way too fast, especially with how little character development he gets otherwise and 4) He sees pokemon as a means to an ends. When told he should probably give them the time of day gave them a shred of attention that they were probably bursting at the seams for, and took advantage of that and 5) He sure calmed the fuck down after that. So yes just another reason to hate the guy.

B: It's still bothers me that when you have a pokemon that was caught in Colossuem and XD, the game will say it's from "a distant land" instead of "from the Orre Region." As someone who actually modded the Gen 6 and 7 games, I had to make a text edit to fix that. Mark my words, it will continue to say "distant land" in BDSP once HOME Support is out early 2022. C: There are literally no places to grind for the elite four and Red. The only way is to trade all your pokemon to a finished copy of any of the Sinnoh Games, and beat Cynthia a thousand times, then trade them back to HGSS. D: The only Gen 3 or 4 pokemon they added in the regional dex are the evolved forms of any pokemon that knows Ancient Power. They refused to add Trapinch just to prevent me from recreating my Colosseum team (Typhlosion, Flygon, Ampharos, Tyranitar, Quagsire, and Mistreavus incase you're wondering), and Bagon's in limbo until Generation-Sonic-O-6! Serebii will lie to you about his location in Gen 5, and ⚠SPOILER ALERT:⚠ he's not even available as a free shiny in B2/W2 because they had to pick Gible for Black 2 and DRATINI for White 2!!! Dragon isn't even my first favorite type, and here I am rambling on about them. Overall... I hate this game! After all of the times I've heard people defend Silver, saying that he "redeemed" himself at the end of HG/SS, this video shows how unbelievably wrong they are. It's as if the people either forgot how Silver is still a huge jerk than they can remember, or they've decided to ignore that out of pity from Silver's relationship with Giovanni. And people thought Blue was more hateable.
I know he’s still a jerk at the end of the game, but the reason I find Silver to be the best rival in the series is because he’s more of one than the later ones. (Let me give you these Revives! With them, you’re guaranteed to never lose!) He was abandoned by his father, and went to become strong on his own. Yes, he did some bad things But at least he offered to return the Pokémon he stole and even if he was a jerk I still like him for learning that Pokémon is more about love and trust. pokemon origins especially gives him more sympathypoints considering he actually helped in that story,sometimes out of his own will and sometimes because red actively forced him to do it. and he fell hard for his attitude in that series too in more ways then one.
Here’s a sin for ya: Skarmory is one of the most awesome and best Pokémon in the competitive scene, of course that isn’t the sin, the sin is that if you’re playing Heartgold and wanna catch it, you’re out of luck because Skarmory can only be found in Soulsilver.

I totally agree! His Pokémon or nine levels higher than the last gym leader and there aren’t enough trainers to get to that high of a level. One of the things I hate in any RPG is LEVEL GRINDING. I don’t know if you just went to the Alola region or not but one thing is for sure: I hate battling him! Even if I have a good counter, I always end up beating him by just the skin of my teeth!

If you transfer the message held by Webster's Spearow to one of your Pokémon, the message's recipient will only take the mail, allowing you to keep the Spearow that came with it. Also, if you have a strong bond of friendship with Kirk's Shuckle, when you go to give it back to him, he'll notice the strength of your bond and let you keep it.

@@meta527II I'm not going to explain in detail over youtube because it's a DEEPLY inappropriate subject but i'll go over the cliffnotes 1) Silver is a villain with no qualms about breaking the law or hurting others 2) Pokemon evolve from friendship, which is why they can't evolve in the wild or with a shitty trainer 3) The turnaround time was way too fast, especially with how little character development he gets otherwise and 4) He sees pokemon as a means to an ends. When told he should probably give them the time of day gave them a shred of attention that they were probably bursting at the seams for, and took advantage of that and 5) He sure calmed the fuck down after that.

Seriously, I recall gen 4 having this dumb gimmick where if you beat the Sinnoh games first, you get better items to trade over to HGSS, and if you beat the Johto games first, you get better Pokémon to trade over D/P/Pt.
21:51 - Like I said in your Platinum video, welcome to Gen 4! Difficulty spikes are it's specialty.
Other sins:
A: When you transfer a pokemon from the GBA games to the Sinnoh games, you have to wait 24 hours to transfer again, and it took the developers until HGSS (not Platinum) to fix that.
B: It's still bothers me that when you have a pokemon that was caught in Colossuem and XD, the game will say it's from "a distant land" instead of "from the Orre Region." As someone who actually modded the Gen 6 and 7 games, I had to make a text edit to fix that. Mark my words, it will continue to say "distant land" in BDSP once HOME Support is out early 2022.
C: There are literally no places to grind for the elite four and Red. The only way is to trade all your pokemon to a finished copy of any of the Sinnoh Games, and beat Cynthia a thousand times, then trade them back to HGSS.
D: The only Gen 3 or 4 pokemon they added in the regional dex are the evolved forms of any pokemon that knows Ancient Power. They refused to add Trapinch just to prevent me from recreating my Colosseum team (Typhlosion, Flygon, Ampharos, Tyranitar, Quagsire, and Mistreavus incase you're wondering), and Bagon's in limbo until Generation-Sonic-O-6! Serebii will lie to you about his location in Gen 5, and ⚠SPOILER ALERT:⚠ he's not even available as a free shiny in B2/W2 because they had to pick Gible for Black 2 and DRATINI for White 2!!! Dragon isn't even my first favorite type, and here I am rambling on about them.
Overall... I hate this game! I prefer playing a patched version of the original Gold and Silver where they restored every area that was cut in Kanto. Found here: www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=419409

10:52 Lugia's reason to be Psychic Type was because Psychic is the symbol of powerful Pokemon... which only makes sense in something regarding Gen 1 since they Psychic Type was broken in that game disregarding the fact the Lugia didn't even exist, and Palkia is Water-Type because him, Dialga, and Giratina want to have their types resemble the 3 states of matter. Spacial Rend would of been a Psychic Type move since it's related to space.
