At least exeggcutor has an entry saying its heads can fall off, so maybe when it first evolves it has six (or maybe the trunk sprouts from the cracked one, then the other five heads attach to it?) but it loses some, and it just seems to instantly happen due to game graphic limitations, similarly to how kangaskhan apparently instantly gives birth from birth, or how in gens 2 and 3, mantine apparently befriended a remoraid inside its egg. Aegislash has much less of an excuse, where did the second sword go?
This was a really interesting video. I remember hearing that the little gray piece of dirt right below digglet is the rest of its body and that is some kind of all terrain mass that it uses to move. I also have the theory that the reason why the pokeball absorbs pokemon with multiple bodies is for a reason similar as to why it absorbs the objects that some pokemon carry around. Basically, the pokeball catches the pokemon and registers the thing it uses as an object. And in a similar way, when it comes to pokemon with multiple bodies, the pokeball registers one of the bodies/heads, etc as the pokemon and the others as "objects". I did a Nuzlocke using only “Multiple Body” shape Pokémon, and named them all after bands. Klinklang was Möterhead, Falinks was Linkin Park, Galarian Weezing was Air Supply, Dugtrio was The Police and Barbaracle was The Beach Boys. It was tons of fun and I even made edits of album covers to add my Pokémon to the art of their namesake bands albums. 10/10 would recommend
Fun fact: wobbuffet is supposed to operate like a punching bag. You hit it, it hits you back just as hard. Or twice as hard, with Counter or Mirror Coat. The main body also isn't the Pokémon, it's tail is. Kinda like mimikyu, but more painful.
In the romhack "too many types" (the gimmick was adding over 70 or something new types, actually super fun) but one of the types was "guys" type, for pokemon that were made up of multiple guys. I think about that all the time
Thank you! I thought it was super interesting haha so I’m glad there are people out there who enjoyed! What’s your second favorite classification because I need another video idea hahahaha

Bro I am so glad you made this video. I think about these weird pokemon types often and how they can even go in a pokeball if each one only holds “one” pokemon. This was great fun to hear your thoughts on this problem and go deeper into their entries. Great editing too, you’re definitely going to blow up. I subbed! It isn’t a pokemon shape, but another issue I’ve always had are pokemon that hold objects that are clearly not a part of their physical body (Alakazam, Farfetch’d, Conkeldurr, etc.). I’d love to hear your thoughts on them and their biology!
Skeledirge should be a multiple bodies pokemon if it isnt. It literally has a little fire ghost bird on its nose thats flies off to attack. It'll be fun to see it in the anime.
I wish the little bird had a proper name though haha, it would’ve been cool if there was a phoenix inspired pokemon line or something and then skeledirge was like Mantine and remoraid
clean video. interesting topic. this channel's going places. Spiritomb? the aura could just be housed in the keystone, but both parts have faces and could explain how either part could use either physical or special moves
Thanks for watching! Yeah Spiritomb is a really interesting one. Once you start going into “souls” there are a lot of ghost types that could be mentioned haha
Very fun video! I don't think you missed too many (if any) aside from at least 1. One that came to mind is Stakataka, which seems to kind of be a bunch of separate organisms that operate as one Pokemon. Maybe a baby version would just be a singular block, idk it'd probably be cute.

The Violet entry for Mousehold makes a strong connection to the other big "we don't know" of the series. Eggs. It's clear to me it is a parent child relationship, but Game Freak doesn't want to clarify it. For obvious reasons.
I think that the combee Dex entries are saying that each egg has three mini Pokemon that form one combee, but they can be (bee?) separated, satisfying the "born together", the "three separate pokemon that become one", and the "three pokemon that hang out all the time" dex entries
There's an alternate universe where you have to have one baby brass falinx and 5 baby follower falinx in your team to evolve them into the 6-mon formation
There's a popular fantheory that states that Wobuffet's "tail" is it's true body while it's "main body" is more akin to a puppet that it controls to trick predators
I find it so silly when people talk about pokemon like applin and say things like "what if it's not in the apple?? Is the worm its own individual pokemon??" Because like, that's like saying "what if a bagworm isn't in its bag, does that make it a new animal?"
really cool topic, and great job covering it! it's really interesting to dissect the pokemon classification system like this as i've always felt it's very arbitrary in a funny kind of way. i am a little confused about your preoccupation with how many eyes a pokemon has and its relation to how many entities it's composed of lol. especially when there's plenty of pokemon with just one eye! also, regarding binacle, pokemon species names are always the same in both singular and plural forms.
A video organizing/refining the Pokédex shapes would be helpful. I want a mall with clothes for Pokémon that separates what clothes you get by Pokédex shapes.
So I was playing tcg pocket today and I realized the Pokémon have little descriptions at the bottom of the cards. Pidgeotto’s says “The claws on its feet are well developed. It can carry prey such as an Exeggcute to its nest over 60 miles away.” Besides being astonished that they use the Standard System in Hoenn, I am quite confused how a Pidgeotto would carry an Exeggcute if it consists of 6 eggs…
@@SlakSquad Im definitely binge watching all your vids with my gf tonight 😎 !! A video about weird egg groups or weird pokemon pokedex descriptions (i mean like how it says "the _____ pokemon")
We’ve actually been cooking up a video about pokemon categories! Some of them are so weird like how slowpoke is literally the stupid pokemon😂 Egg groups are really interesting too
To remedy some of this weirdness, I think a dual-shape system akin to the ability for pokemon to be dual-typed or dual egg categories should be introduced. If it were to be really robust, I think there should be a body shape and body type- So Wugtrio could be a serpent or “head and base” body-shape but also a multiple bodies body-type
I love these types of Pokemon! The Hydreigon line and Girafarig line are some of my favourite Pokemon due to their multiple heads. They are truly oddities within the Pokemon world.
Another addition to this list could be SlowBro; it's been known the shell on Slowpoke's tail is a Shellder but has never been released as it's own regional form
for kangaskhan it makes sense that it's not a single pokemon with multiple bodies, as the baby grows up and becomes a kangaskhan itself, and only the mother does the fighting (except when mega evolved) as for wobbuffet, it's based on a punching bag, the blue "main body" is a decoy, it takes the damage and then bounces it back, the tail is the real body, they're not separate entities
Wobbuffet is actually supposed to be an inflatable punching bag, and it's implied that the blue body is a decoy that is controlled by the tail, which is the actual Pokémon. It's not super obvious at first, but once you consider that its name is a combination of "wobble" and "buffet", it begins to make more sense as to what they were getting at. Wynaut, its pre-evolution, follows this theme as well. It looks like a Wobbuffet that hasn't been fully inflated yet. With its "ears" becoming the arms of Wobbuffet, and having the little bit on its head that looks like a semi-inflated balloon. Now that I know this, I can't unsee it lol
This makes too much sense haha - I’m actually so mad haha because not only did I miss wobbuffet in this video but I missed it in another video I recorded coming up about Pokemon with objects LOL
@@SlakSquad Haha, glad to have taught you something. Wobbuffet is one of my favorite Gen 2 mons, and I've always loved its concept since I learned what it was. I'd love an evolution where the tail becomes more prominent as the Pokémon, and the decoy body is made more obviously a decoy. Very creative design choice, I think. Especially with Wynaut.
Isn't Wobuffet supposed to be the tail, while the rest of the body is nothing but a decoy to prevent it from being directly harmed? I swear i heard that somewhere.
I’ve heard it in this comments section a bit today haha! I do believe that’s the case, as the body is a punching bag dummy. still funny though that we don’t get to see much of the pokemon. I guess wobbuffet and Mimikyu have a lot in common!
It's possible that wobbuffet's tail is the only part which its mirror coat doesn't coat, which might have something to do with its being the only part of it that's black rather than blue. That would explain why wobbuffet uses destiny bond instead if its tail is targeted.
yeah this is really interesting - I mentioned to someone else too that I wish we could get a wobuffet form someday that’s just the tail and it’s some super elusive form
@@trevorsmusicvideos So10:30 is right at a music transition. Just before, the song playing is "Sand Hill" from Sonic Adventure 1 - as shouted out by @SlakSquad! The song playing just after is the Battle Tower Theme for Sword and Shield by the legendary Toby Fox! Hope this helped!
Would spiritomb be considered? I assume it's a hivemind of souls. If so, then a lot of other ghost pokemon that are made of multiple souls would also count.
Yeah - on spiritomb: it’s right on the line of being multiple bodies but then also if you call “souls” multiple bodies then a lot of Ghost types would have to be considered haha
The fact that Game Freak insists that no daycare centre, Pokemon breader, or Professor knows where pokemon eggs come from, would explain maushold's noncommittal entry of where the additional maushold members come from, more yhan anything else.
The reason some of them don't have the multiple bodies shape is because of their literal shape of their body shaped like a different category when looked at as a whole. But they do still break that rule too so I don't know..
Wobbuffet is explained in lore to be a punching bag. The blue body is a fake decoy and can take a serious beating, to protect the real head which is the black tail. Idk if that's in the dex but it's definitely stated somewhere in the games or the anime
If the Dex entry didn’t say “bodies” for Wugtrio, then I would say it could be plausible for it to not be classed as having multiple bodies due to it being convergent evolution.
While you're talking about exeggcute, the dex entry on the screen says that six exeggcute form a cluster, which means that one egg is indeed an exeggcute.
but then we call a group of 6 one exeggcute too, so you could argue that 36 eggs together would be 6 exeggcute but then at the same time still be one exeggcute?🫠🫠🫠
Gamefreak really just needs to make the extra forms of Pokemon available to catch as proper Pokemon (Shellder, 3-head Weezing, 1-head Binace, etc). Or as you said make a baby version of (how do we not have baby Kangaskhan yet, seriously?). Exeggcute and the Klink family are the most egregious in weird biology to me, but the Klinks are already a 3-stage so I don't see them clearing it up ever. The two versions of a baby Falinks is also a perfect idea! But Pokemon is gonna Pokemon I guess. Love content like this though, just discussing the weirdness of the franchise and how we just kind of accept it anyway. Your humour and editing are also great :D Looking forward to more (and now it's time to go watch your previous vids).

Combee, is."together from birth" just because its 3 different bee larvae that are stuck in beewax. The only reason I could see for that is that combee arent able to fly on their own and need 2 others to help them.
Wobuffet in the original japanese context was based off of a punching bag, and the blue part is the punching bag part, whereas the real "head" is the tail with the eyes part.
Gonna go off the deep end here, but; Paras and Parasect consist of the insect and the parasitic mushroom, and thus should count towards Multiple-Bodied. Doduo and Dodrio are often described as having 2-3 separate personalities depending on the head, implying that they are 2-3 separate beings that share a single body. Technically a single-bodied Pokémon by the literal definition, but it's similar to Barbaracle. They're 7 separate entities that share a single body. Haunter may seem like an odd choice at first, but then you may realise that it's one of, if not the only Pokemon who has body parts that float independently from its main body. Do we know for certain that its hands are part of a single body? Slowbro and Slowking are literally two separate Pokémon - Slowpoke and Shelder. In fact, they're the only Pokémon confirmed to be capable of devolution, as if the Shelder was to detach from the Slowbro/king, it would revert back to a Slowpoke. Literally two bodies. Why aren't they classified as Multiple Bodies? Mantine is often depicted as having a Remorade under it, and a Remorade is required to evolve a Mantyke but Mantine itself is a single body. The Remorade does not merge with the Mantyke, the two continue to exist as separate entities. Nincada splits into two separate single bodied Pokémon, but which one does the original mind of the Nincada stay with? Or do both Ninjask and Shedinja retain the consciousness of the Nincada? Spiritomb may fall under the same classification as Dodrio and Barbaracle in that it's multiple entities making up a single body. In Spiritombs case, its 108 souls. Magnezone. I dunno what else to say other than "It's still three magnemite, just kinda melted together". Arceus may seem like an odd one to bring up, but it literally gives you a piece of itself in PLA, implying that the Arceus we can catch in Pokemon games is not THE Arceus, but rather a piece of it. I'd say that counts as multiple bodies. Zweilous is stated to have two different brains that are constantly fighting for dominance, and whichever head gets the most nutrients becomes the Dominant Head when it becomes a Hydreigon. This would put them both under the same category as Barbaracle. Komala has no real evidence to suggest it should be categorised under multiple bodied, however it should be noted that only the Log changes colour when it's shiny. This has lead to the fan theory that Komala isn't the Koala, but the wooden log. Similar to the theory that Wobbuffet is the black tail, and the blue body is just a decoy body, it could be that the log is the Pokemon and the Koala is a decoy. There are no Pokédex entries to support this. Dhelmise is supposed to be just the seaweed according to the Dex, and yet it appears to have a single eye on the steering wheel. While this could just be a compass that happens to look similar to an eye, it could also be evidence that Dhelmise is more than... meets the eye? Celesteela's rocket-arms are the only other instance of a Pokemon's hands/arms being separate from its body like Haunter. Are they actually part of Celesteela, or are they separate bodies? Celesteela is implied to be the central creature, as its scrapped pre-evolution (which appeared in the anime) consists of only the bamboo shoot with the two arms behind absent. Perhaps it's three baby Celesteela that come together, with one forming the central body and the other two growing into the arms? Stakataka is made of almost 150 separate entities that all think for themselves, definitely should be considered a Multiple Bodied Pokémon, no questions asked. Melmetal is made up of many Meltans, so... does it also count? The Meltans merge into one, unlike the Stakataka which can separate at will and even lose bricks. Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish and Arctovish are all made up of 4 separate Pokemon. Although they do only have one brain, they are literally made up of multiple different bodies. Drakloak and Dragapult are made up of multiple Pokémon in the same way that Kangaskhan is, except it's extra bodies are named and also usable as its own Pokemon, Dreepy. I think we can file these under Multiple Bodied, as Dragapult NEEDS to have the Dreepys to use its signature move. Calyrex Shadow/Ice Rider forms are made up two separate Pokemon, and even have two active abilities at the same time. Yet they always share one health bar, implying they're now one entity. Multiple Bodied. Basculegion is made up of many Basculin souls that merged into one. Scovillain has two heads that have their own personalities. Two brains, one body. Rabsca has a baby in its psychic orb, potentially falling under the same category as kangaskhan. Dondozo and Tatsugiri can combine to form a single Pokemon, although the new Pokemon is just a beefier Dondozo. So it could be argued that it isn't multiple bodied. Yeah, some of those are reaches. But hey, fun to think about all the same.
Common thing I hear about Wobbafett is that it is one creature but blue thing is its decoy and the real creature is the tail, which I guess, I dunno, does that make a multi-body Pokémon? Or is it just a *weird* body Pokémon?

Ohhh I really like that!! We’ll queue it up!
Palossand every grain is sentient
OMG HAHAHAHAHA imagine a baby evolution and it’s just a grain of sand and the only move it can learn is ingrain
@@SlakSquad that's pretty funny
or sand tomb
And apparently it’s skeleton is the bones of its prey.
Yikes
I did a Nuzlocke using only “Multiple Body” shape Pokémon, and named them all after bands. Klinklang was Möterhead, Falinks was Linkin Park, Galarian Weezing was Air Supply, Dugtrio was The Police and Barbaracle was The Beach Boys. It was tons of fun and I even made edits of album covers to add my Pokémon to the art of their namesake bands albums. 10/10 would recommend
that’s actually such a great idea haha - I love that nickname theme
Fun fact: wobbuffet is supposed to operate like a punching bag. You hit it, it hits you back just as hard. Or twice as hard, with Counter or Mirror Coat. The main body also isn't the Pokémon, it's tail is. Kinda like mimikyu, but more painful.
I love how it works in Smash reflects this perfectly haha
In the romhack "too many types" (the gimmick was adding over 70 or something new types, actually super fun) but one of the types was "guys" type, for pokemon that were made up of multiple guys. I think about that all the time
Hahaha I remember seeing a youtube video on that, I think it was alpharad lol
This is my FAVORITE classification of Pokémon, I need more of these creatures
Really good video :D
Thank you! I thought it was super interesting haha so I’m glad there are people out there who enjoyed! What’s your second favorite classification because I need another video idea hahahaha
Do we count Pokémon with multiple heads as multiple bodies? I feel like Scovillain should be included if Metagross is included with its multiple brains. Does Mawile’s mouth count???
Apparently not! I was going to mention Mawile and Scovillain in the video and knew someone would point it out in the comments haha
Another underrated pokémon youtuber, lets go
Thank you🙏🏼 we’re hoping to earn some more subs soon and keep making some great content into the new year
I have only seen this video, but you might like looking into old Pokemon Theories that turned out to be right or wrong, or just really weird or wild ones. Good videos man, I thought you were like Michael or TrueGreen7 from the quality, I hope you get more subs man, you deserve it.
thank you so much! that means a lot - we trust that RUclips will help us find an audience. we’ve only been at it for a couple of months and we’re having fun! let us know if there’s any type of theory video you’d like us to do!
@SlakSquad Off the top of my head I can think of how people were predicting the Gen 4 Remakes and what they could've been vs what we got. Best of luck and I hope the algorithm serves you well.
we were thinking of doing a let’s go Johto or legends johto theory vid at some point - and we’re hoping the algorithm delivers🫡
Zygarde is also a bunch of cells that seem to be their own thing, but they can't act on their own so it makes sense not to include it.
True, good point!
Arguably Magnezone should also qualify for this body shape as should Wugtrio for more obvious reasons.
Yeah I do really like the magnezone argument haha
Bro I am so glad you made this video. I think about these weird pokemon types often and how they can even go in a pokeball if each one only holds “one” pokemon. This was great fun to hear your thoughts on this problem and go deeper into their entries. Great editing too, you’re definitely going to blow up. I subbed!
It isn’t a pokemon shape, but another issue I’ve always had are pokemon that hold objects that are clearly not a part of their physical body (Alakazam, Farfetch’d, Conkeldurr, etc.). I’d love to hear your thoughts on them and their biology!
Now THAT is a great video idea! I’ll be sure to shout you out and we’ll definitely queue it up!
This kind of study on Pokemon theory is something I didn't know I needed and I'm totally here for it
Haha honestly same - I meant for these to be such SIMPLE videos lol and they're taking so long to research for
I've never seen someone talk about the Pokemon shapes, cool idea!
thanks! I thought it was an interesting little corner of the pokédex🫠
Spiritomb comes to mind as another pokemon I’d assume would have this body classification
Yeah for sure, so many of those ghost types could work hahah
Skeledirge should be a multiple bodies pokemon if it isnt. It literally has a little fire ghost bird on its nose thats flies off to attack. It'll be fun to see it in the anime.
This was actually my favorite example that I left out of the video, that I had to include it in an upcoming video we’re doing
@SlakSquad ay
13:47 it's like bro didn't watch the series
Oh no what did I miss hahaha
@SlakSquad they thought of the same thing and dedicated an episode to one of the falinks getting lost and reuniting with the group
Haha aww that's adorable lol - I don't think I saw that episode. I need to do a whole anime rewatch at some point lol
15:12 I now am giggling at the idea of tandemaus splitting like cells to reproduce, it is now what I choose to believe
it’s my headcanon😂😂
Very well put-together video! Definitely subbing because I love watching videos like these. Also, I would totally eat a Vanilluxe just to devolve it
Thanks for the sub! We love making the vids - let me know if there's any topics you'd like to see before you rip apart your poor ice cream cones😂
@@SlakSquad I’ve always wondered how many seasonal differences there are in Black/White. Like what areas are available and Pokémon.
I miss the seasonal differences. A deep dive would be cool!
Can you continually eat and re-evolve vaniluxe for infinite icecream?
good lord - we have an entrepreneur in the chat everyone
Very fun video! I don't think you missed too many (if any) aside from at least 1. One that came to mind is Stakataka, which seems to kind of be a bunch of separate organisms that operate as one Pokemon. Maybe a baby version would just be a singular block, idk it'd probably be cute.
Hahaha someone else commented that too and all I can think about now is the baby brick pokemon😂😂😂
5:05 it's actually one tho, 4 on the front and 4 on the back edit : welp. I paused too early to post this comment lol
bahaha it’s okay, basically my exact thoughts while researching and writing it😂
I'm glad you did the sub plug in the middle. I genuinely assumed you already had 50,000+ subs already. Excited to join in your journey early! Keep up the great work!
thank you so much!! we try to avoid being pushy but we gotta ask for those early fans somehow right!? let me know if there’s any content you’d like to see here!😁
The Violet entry for Mousehold makes a strong connection to the other big "we don't know" of the series. Eggs.
It's clear to me it is a parent child relationship, but Game Freak doesn't want to clarify it. For obvious reasons.
Hahaha imagine if they came right out with the hard explanation🫠😂
Rlly enjoyed the video! I subbed, wishing u all the besttt
Thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed it and we can't wait to share more content with you!
i like it when the digletts are buff and kiss
Diglett deserves a museum for its memes
I think that the combee Dex entries are saying that each egg has three mini Pokemon that form one combee, but they can be (bee?) separated, satisfying the "born together", the "three separate pokemon that become one", and the "three pokemon that hang out all the time" dex entries
Combee is definitely a controversial one haha but I still love it
There's a questionable amount of Gen 1 Pokémon who's evolutions are just "let's make them 3 of them"
Cerberus generation haha😂
There's an alternate universe where you have to have one baby brass falinx and 5 baby follower falinx in your team to evolve them into the 6-mon formation
That would be crazy🫠
9:50
This is actually the case in Germany with Klikk, Kliklak and Klidiklak.
amazing haha
Weird that Magneton is considered a multibody, while Sandy Shocks is considered a quadruped.
agree! it’s like the dugtrio / wugtrio discrepancy - make up your mind pokédex😂
There's a popular fantheory that states that Wobuffet's "tail" is it's true body while it's "main body" is more akin to a puppet that it controls to trick predators
some people in the comments have told me that it’s canon! I’ll have to do my research or wait for Legends Wobuffet I guess!
the running theory is that wobbuffet's tail is the real body, and the rest is a fake body it can detach from in a emergency
I've heard that!!
I find it so silly when people talk about pokemon like applin and say things like "what if it's not in the apple?? Is the worm its own individual pokemon??" Because like, that's like saying "what if a bagworm isn't in its bag, does that make it a new animal?"
True but I suppose the pokédex muddies this up a bit😂
My headcanon on the kling line is that each gear is it's own being, and only one of them is able to evolve in the pair when evolving into Klang
That theory would work!! All very interesting stuff
Great video. Please continue delving into obscure Pokemon facts and lore
We’re planning on doing a lot more!!
You need more subs this is a great channel!!
We’re working on it!! Appreciate you
It's honestly insane that we don't have a third evo for Koffing and Weezing named "Choking"
LOL or hyperventilating
really cool topic, and great job covering it! it's really interesting to dissect the pokemon classification system like this as i've always felt it's very arbitrary in a funny kind of way. i am a little confused about your preoccupation with how many eyes a pokemon has and its relation to how many entities it's composed of lol. especially when there's plenty of pokemon with just one eye! also, regarding binacle, pokemon species names are always the same in both singular and plural forms.
Its very arbitrary haha and very fun, thanks for watching! The binacle thing just surprised me as it isn't consistent with the amount of eyes😅😂
A video organizing/refining the Pokédex shapes would be helpful. I want a mall with clothes for Pokémon that separates what clothes you get by Pokédex shapes.
hahaha that would be insanity😂
Just subscribed, what a fun video! Love the shape exploration, looking forward to the next.
Thanks!! We’ve got some fun content cooking up for the next couple of months
3 eggs per talon haha
Slaks cooked putting this one together, instant classic
sure did
This was awesome and different from a lot of pkmn content, keep it up!!
Thanks for watching! Let us know if there’s any content you’d like to see here!😁
@@SlakSquad Im definitely binge watching all your vids with my gf tonight 😎 !!
Dual category is a really interesting idea actually, Ive never heard anyone come up with that!!
I love these types of Pokemon! The Hydreigon line and Girafarig line are some of my favourite Pokemon due to their multiple heads. They are truly oddities within the Pokemon world.
Hydreigon x Dodrio - 6 heads and only 2 party slots!
Another addition to this list could be SlowBro; it's been known the shell on Slowpoke's tail is a Shellder but has never been released as it's own regional form
True true! I love the shellder interaction haha and some other commenters have mentioned some fun proposed evolution mechanics with those two
You’re doing so good your editing and commentary is top notch man
thanks! we’re trying our best haha - can only keep improving by making more videos!
Legit forgot Binacle and Barbaracle existed until this video lmfao
Haha honestly same before I wrote it😂
If you think about it, Combee is the reverse of Diglett and Magnemite. When it evolves into Vespiquen, the three become one instead.
I hadn’t thought about that! That is pretty interesting haha
Would love to see a dive into pokemon that evolve by trade. Going into the lore of that would be great!
That's really interesting!! I’ll queue it up🙏🏼
I'm shocked you only have 1k subs! You deserve more!
we just hit 1k today so we’re honestly super happy about it hahaha but hoping for more soon!!
for kangaskhan it makes sense that it's not a single pokemon with multiple bodies, as the baby grows up and becomes a kangaskhan itself, and only the mother does the fighting (except when mega evolved)
as for wobbuffet, it's based on a punching bag, the blue "main body" is a decoy, it takes the damage and then bounces it back, the tail is the real body, they're not separate entities
I never thought of Kangaskhan that way, I suppose that makes sense, I just wish the baby Kangaskhan had some proper representation🫠
Mantine has a lil remoraid friend lol
True cute little symbiotic friends
This is such an interesting video! And It’s very well edited! I hope you get more subs soon!
thanks for watching! Us too haha!
Especially with Wynaut.
i don't know why i never thought about it, but yeah the fact that we don't have an exeggcute prevo is kinda silly. perhaps an exeggcutie?
just execcuno hahaha
HEROOOOOO Bro what is the song playing at 10:30
Its driving me insane
Its definitely from SA1 but I don't know where from
@@trevorsmusicvideos So10:30 is right at a music transition. Just before, the song playing is "Sand Hill" from Sonic Adventure 1 - as shouted out by @SlakSquad! The song playing just after is the Battle Tower Theme for Sword and Shield by the legendary Toby Fox! Hope this helped!
THATS IT!! Gosh I love that one
I opened this video searching for answers… now i’m more confused than ever 💀
Aren't we all - Pokemon will do that to you😅
This was a fairly unique kind of video 👍🏾 I dont think Ive ever thought about multiple bodies being a thing here lol
Haha glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching
9:09, I always thought the black spots where mouths and the X was the other eye sort of winking
definitely one way to look at it! It’s somewhat unclear hahaha
It's awesome to see such incredible production quality from a smaller channel. I assumed you had thousands of subs before I subbed myself. Great work!
Would spiritomb be considered? I assume it's a hivemind of souls. If so, then a lot of other ghost pokemon that are made of multiple souls would also count.
thank you so much! we’re trying our best to make the videos better every time we make them!🥳
Yeah - on spiritomb: it’s right on the line of being multiple bodies but then also if you call “souls” multiple bodies then a lot of Ghost types would have to be considered haha
3:46 I agree but you just know the fandom would insult GF for doing that, they already did with Dudunsparce
also this is great content, subbed
Haha what DONT we insult game freak for😅
@@SlakSquad fair point
although to be real they’ve made some of the most enjoyable games of my life so I’ll cut them some slack for not batting 100
@@SlakSquad same, Pokemon is my comfort game series
Agreed - just so relaxing haha
The fact that Game Freak insists that no daycare centre, Pokemon breader, or Professor knows where pokemon eggs come from, would explain maushold's noncommittal entry of where the additional maushold members come from, more yhan anything else.
True, good point, I love that kind of deep thinking
Now I'm seeing these Pokémon in a different way now
I’m so sorry hahaha we can never go back😂
Awesome vid! Glad I found your channel
thanks for watching! Let us know if there’s any types of videos you’d like to see on the channel!😁
Wobuffett's tail eyes seem to me like decoy eyes to confuse predators
Mirror coat them predators
Love the random fact videos you guys are doing!
Which one do you want next👀
And WHERE is the Rotom video!
I thought the wobuffet concept was that the "tail" bit is its head, and the big blue section is just part of its body.
That's right! I've since learned this haha
The reason some of them don't have the multiple bodies shape is because of their literal shape of their body shaped like a different category when looked at as a whole. But they do still break that rule too so I don't know..
There are so many rules broken constantly LOL
The Klink line should have been Klink, Klang, Klinklangklong
Love kling klong
Wobbuffet is explained in lore to be a punching bag. The blue body is a fake decoy and can take a serious beating, to protect the real head which is the black tail. Idk if that's in the dex but it's definitely stated somewhere in the games or the anime
Yeah I realized that after, its very Mimikyu like haha I love that
Keep the ending theme 🤩. I love the small jokes
Haha thank you and of course - we want to be comedic informative pokemon👀
there''s also zwellos who's two sentient heads until its hydreigon.. it feels like it makes sense once its hydreigon but zwellos dies to do so
Yeah Scovillain is real similar here too! The “are multiple heads multiple bodies” angle haha
If the Dex entry didn’t say “bodies” for Wugtrio, then I would say it could be plausible for it to not be classed as having multiple bodies due to it being convergent evolution.
Me too! But the bodies” reference screwed with my brain hahaha
@@SlakSquad
Totally. It’s so strange how they decide to class bodies…and couleurs 😂
We should do a vid on colors next haha
@@SlakSquad
I vote yes!
well queue it up just for you thoracis and a shoutout coming your way😤
While you're talking about exeggcute, the dex entry on the screen says that six exeggcute form a cluster, which means that one egg is indeed an exeggcute.
but then we call a group of 6 one exeggcute too, so you could argue that 36 eggs together would be 6 exeggcute but then at the same time still be one exeggcute?🫠🫠🫠
@@SlakSquad yes 🙃
💀
dope content fam, can’t wait to see your channel grow 🎉
Tysm!! We’re doing our best and looking forward to a great 2025🤪
Gamefreak really just needs to make the extra forms of Pokemon available to catch as proper Pokemon (Shellder, 3-head Weezing, 1-head Binace, etc).
Your humour and editing are also great :D Looking forward to more (and now it's time to go watch your previous vids).
hey thank you so much! i’m sure you’ll like the previous vids and also see how far we’ve come since August hahahaha
let us know if there’s any topic you’d like to see on the channel!
Combee, is."together from birth" just because its 3 different bee larvae that are stuck in beewax. The only reason I could see for that is that combee arent able to fly on their own and need 2 others to help them.
The trio💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I could have sworn there was a dex entry for wobbufet that said that the tail was the real creature and that that blue part was a facade
I don't think there's a specific dex entry like that, but its definitely the widely accepted explanation haha
Wobuffet in the original japanese context was based off of a punching bag, and the blue part is the punching bag part, whereas the real "head" is the tail with the eyes part.
Yeah its real Mimikyu like haha - been talking about it with some commenters! Wynaut makes this really fun too haha
Gonna go off the deep end here, but;
Paras and Parasect consist of the insect and the parasitic mushroom, and thus should count towards Multiple-Bodied.
These are all so fun! You're the first Ive heard mention the gen 8 fossils!👏👏
I feel like Blacephalon fits in the latter because it might not be 2 Pokémon but it's head and body can function seperate I think
That's an interesting one, first person Ive heard say that one
Common thing I hear about Wobbafett is that it is one creature but blue thing is its decoy and the real creature is the tail, which I guess, I dunno, does that make a multi-body Pokémon? Or is it just a *weird* body Pokémon?
Totally right - kind of like Mimikyu!
