Definitely think the card has its upsides but also has some downsides. Unfortunately I don’t see the card changing or evolving much but it’s still a great one to carry with no fee
This card doesn’t appeal to me, but has some good points. I can always turns points I have with another cc into a gift card, which has saved me $$ on Apple products.
I used to like it,but since my card got compromised I will be canceling mine soon,Its just that they are not doing anything with fraudulent transactions and have the nerve to tell me that I participated the transaction after everything I provided for them that It wasn’t me who did the purchase.I’ve been trying to dispute the same charges for almost 8 months now.terrible terrible terrible 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Sorry to hear that…I’ve heard a few complaints with similar issues surrounding the fraudulent transaction resolution with the Apple Card. Definitely seems like something they need to take care kf
Any one in the Apple ecosystem would be happy be with this card, as an accessory to that ecosystem. Where it really shines is with teens. The ability to share the card across your family group is a huge feature never discussed. Great safety net for my kids who don’t carry wallets and purses.
That's a great point, I love carrying a wallet but so many people my age and especially younger are fully digital so using apple pay is so much easier. Great point!
I‘ve had the Apple Card since it was launched in the summer of 2019. Its big selling points for me are the absence of an annual fee, no foreign transaction fees, 3% cash back on Apple products, financing of Apple products with no interest, and its integration into Apple’s ecosystem. Now I’m curious to see what happens when Apple and Goldman Sachs part ways…
@@MattWertshey Matt, so say they do split up, what would happen with the savings account since it’s through Goldman? Does the money just go to my Apple Cash card? (Not the CC) makes me want to remove my money from the savings account
Great video, very informative. I am sometimes on register in our service shop and we see this card sometimes. It was underplayed in the video kinda sorta but our customers who’ve had this said that a Big point was the security aspect cause of rampant creditcard theft nowadays. I’m going to hold off on getting the card now though cause I just don’t go shady places lol
Terrible card! The only benefit is if you want to finance Apple products. I had the card for 4 years and just cancelled it today. Apple’s bank literally sides with the merchant for any and all disputes. I downloaded an app with a free 7 day trial. I cancelled the trial after a few days and even had screen shots to prove it. This company kept charging me different amount, $49.99, $39.99 and Apple refused to refund me my money!!!
Yeah, I’ve heard a few people with not so great experiences with the card. I don’t carry it so I’m a bit impartial, but it’s definitely something that they could address to keep customers happier. Sorry to hear that!

Pretty good review. I think the only thing you missed was that Apple does give 1% cash back anywhere when using the physical card.

Definitely wouldn’t advocate for cancelling cards as they help build credit score over time, my take was more so use a different card
Apple Card is great if you know how to use it, like other credit cards

I carry my card with me everywhere I go just in case I’m somewhere that don’t have Apple pay like Walmart or some gas stations
