Shouldn't take too much! If it was an EP3 I think the Logbook would be going in my name! Still a great car to drive, so different to the modern hot hatches but I like that 👌
Hey, nice video! After you fixed it, how much did it sell for? I'm planning to buy a 2009 to 2010 Fn2. Just wondering if you could share the price for it. Was it easy to sell quickly or did it take time?
@@JW-gn9lz honest answer, you can buy this one if you like haha! I'm only just getting round to doing the finishing touches before sale now! I love driving it so will be sad to see it go! It will be getting MOT'd and a Full Valet and going up for just under 3k
We have Type-R group with friends, ep3's fn2's fk2 and fk8's there. you breaking fn2's heart with this title. EP3 guys keep overvalue their cars :D, they become almost same price with fk2's here
First Honda I've ever bought! Most Japanese cars have rust issues, I think Mazdas are worst from personal experience by far! Anthony from Budget Bangers did a video on a 2009 Mazda 2 and half the boot floor was missing!
I don't think my mechanic has done one so it's a bit unknown. He's £50 an hour but does look after me on some of the bigger jobs. Still not got round to it yet!
@FlippinMotorsUK it's fairly easy, plenty of guides online and on RUclips. He will need to get honda bond to seal the timing chain case back on, cheaper stuff leaks or doesn't stick too well.
I did for a little while but I always seem to do good money off them, very quick sales uo here in the North East and not had any major issues especially the diesels so I struggle to turn them down if they're a good price
@DaleSteel I've done quite a few DS3 and C4 but only the 1.6 hdi ones. I like a Fiat 500/Punto too and never done bad off an Insignia 2.0 diesel either. Done a few Minis too.
She’s a beauty ❤ in my opinion, Iv always wanted one to be honest. Looking forward to seeing you getting her back to her former glory 🎉

Yeah nice example! Previous owner had it 6 years

I've always wanted an EP3 but at least this satisfied the VTEC craving ha! Good but not great like the EP3 in my eyes!
Suprise this isnt rot as they all seemed to be 😁😁

@FlippinMotorsUK yes totaly agree 👍 I saw that video it was crazy rotten 🤣
Labour trade price for timing chain replacement shouldn't be more then £150.

@@honda.spares.man1 great thanks for the heads up. It also came with a special tool to do the crank pulled
I stay away from vauxhalls
