@@ShiftingMetal K20 Series engines are actually the peak of 4 cylinder engine technology. So engine technology actually peaked in the late 1990's... I'm a out to buy one as a daily and the odd track day and trip to the nurburgring. 6k get a mint sub 90k miles with fish and all you need to do to them is an induction kit and exhaust a remap and ya good for 2240bhp. The brakes on all Civics are a bit wooden, I've owned civics for about 12 years now and sadly won't get another. The 8G you're driving has fantastic quality interior, the 9G, the accountants took over at Honda and the quality was naff and the 10G has some amount of Squeaks and rattles on the early ones. And if you have the 1.0L 10G and haven't had the Cam Belt done yet, be prepared for a shock on the price to do it. Honda want upwards of £1600 to do it.
It's crazy how cheap those cars are in Great Britain. In Poland they start from 5 800£ up to even 10 000£ for white ones or well modded. There aren't many though and with significantly lower mileage and better condition.
