    Hey - I lost 150lbs on Keto 5 years ago, and good thing I did because I required Open Heart Surgery to replace my Aortic Valve a year ago. All my coronary arteries are clean. I still weigh 170lbs - I used to weigh 321lbs at my heaviest. I’ll eat a pizza like this maybe once a month. Otherwise, I eat a lot of eggs, ground beef, salmon, steak, and kielbasa. My lipid profile is great at: Total Cholesterol=186, Triglycerides=46, HDL=62, LDL=115, VLDL=9

    Note: There are three versions of this recipe in the description. The 1/3 cup pork rind recipe will be thicker than the chicken flour version you see me mixed in the video. All the processes are the same and If you watched the full video leave a 👍 emoji in the comments below Thanks

      Can these be successfully frozen? Maybe just before the 3rd bake (with the toppings). I really like to make the pizza crusts in batches & have them for when the urge strikes. Thanks for the recipes. Can’t wait to try & I’m starting with your favorite.

    • @cheffatgrams
      @cheffatgrams  10 месяцев назад +3

      @lisacee3237 I don’t see why not but I would probably cook them for 10 to 15 minutes if freezing. Then when your ready to cook your pizza finish the last two steps.
      ***One very important thing, you’ll need to separate all the batches and add the ingredients in their exact order when working with the pork rind recipe. The fats in the pork rind will deflate the egg white mixture much quicker. My recommendation would be to whip a batch up and throwing it in the oven. Then try to time it where the next one is ready as soon one finishes cooking
      It definitely was delicious right out the fridge cold🤣😂 Please update us if youfreeze them and let us know how they hold up. Have a blessed day.

    Best keto pizza crust I've found so far!! I also had trouble with the toppings sticking to my pan so I revised my method. After the initial bake, I just put the crust on a quarter sheet pan on a rack that was sprayed with avocado oil spray. Baked for 5 minutes, then pulled out and added sauce and pepperoni. Baked 5 more min. Then bumped the heat up to 360-370 . Added cheese and baked until melted. Best Keto Pizza I've found---one of the things I miss the most. Thank you Chef Fat Grams!!!

And really pizza not supposed to look pretty. I have tried so many keto pizzas it’s ridiculous, for how easy and simple this is, this is by far the best crust. This is my go to quick pizza crust, I LOVE it. But I was preoccupied while making it and just added in the egg whites before whipping them. I didn’t want to waist the ingredients, so decided to make thin flat bread pizzas by dividing the batter into balls and pressing them into my tortilla press. I baked them for 5 min flipped them over and cooked for 5 more minutes, topped them and baked until melted, similar to the original recipe. These turned out so good. • @cheffatgrams
      @cheffatgrams  10 месяцев назад +12

      Lol your brain is not broken, simply put because low carb dough is not made with traditional flour’s. The high egg content adds a lot more moisture so you’re basically making sure to dry the bread. If you were to place the toppings on it, which most of us do, then put it back in the oven, the moisture from the toppings will make your dough to soggy😁 Hope that helps😊

    Can't wait to give this a try, been trying to find a good pizza crust. Is it possible to just put the tomato sauce, cheese and toppings directly onto the crust after the crust has cooked and stick it in the oven to melt without having to do all the upside down stuff😊

      You can, but it will not dry out the crust enough to make it more like a regular pizza crust. Unfortunately, when you add the sauce to traditional keto pizzas, it’s absorbed back into the dough🙃 That’s the secret 😉

    seems super dry. did you try it 1st bake, flip then toppings then back in oven to bake? seems like that would be better

      Regular crust pizza is supposed to be drier than a deep dish😁 If you want a moist deep dish here’s one of my other pizza recipes ruclips.net/video/L0HZCL5YN6c/видео.htmlfeature=shared😉

      Almond flour does contain oxalates and a significant amount of fats, but the fats are predominantly healthy. The oxalate content might be a concern for individuals prone to kidney stones, but for most people, almond flour can be a nutritious part of a balanced diet. 🤷🏽‍♂️
