  • Keto pizza and carnivore pizza is dependent on one thing: THE CRUST! This carnivore pizza crust / keto pizza crust is so good for the keto diet, carnivore diet, and more, and best of all you can make a bunch of them and freeze them! Add your favorite toppings to the frozen crust, bake around 15 minutes, and pizza night is back on the menu for all kinds of low carb diet folks!

    Pizza Crust:
    7 eggs separated whites from yolks
    1 block cream cheese (8oz)
    1/2 cup shredded cheese
    3 Tbsp Parmesan
    4 Tbsp egg white powder
    2 tsp unflavored gelatin
    1 Tbsp melted butter
    Separate eggs. Mix yolks with softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, Parmesan cheese, and 1 tsp gelatin. Add 2 Tbsp egg white powder and mix well. Add 1 Tbsp of butter, melted and mix well. Try to whip air into this mixture as much as possible.
    Add egg whites to a mixer bowl or another large empty bowl. Add 2 Tbsp egg white powder, and 1 tsp gelatin to egg whites. Whip this mixture to stiff peaks.
    Combine two mixtures like soufflé. Add 1/3 of egg white mixture to yolk mixture and combine well. Add the other 2/3 of the whites to the yolk mixture and mix gently but completely so no white streaks or lumps are left. Refrigerate this mix for 30 minutes.
    Split mix in half on two parchment paper covered cookie sheets and spread as 10-12 inch pizzas. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until fully baked. Remove and let cool. Wrap in plastic and freeze.
    Top crust with favorite toppings and sauce and bake 12-17 minutes on a preheated pizza stone at max oven temp (525F for my oven). Serve immediately.
    Carnivore Alfredo Sauce (seasonings optional):
    1/4 cup heavy cream
    2 Tbsp water
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    Salt to taste
    Combine all ingredients except parmesan in a bowl and whisk constantly over a double boiler until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Continue whiskin off heat 10-15 seconds to cool. Add parmesan and combine. Let cool before adding to pizza crust.

    I worked at two pizzerias. The big secret pizza cheese recipe is 80% mozzarella, 10% cheddar, 10% provolone. The cheddar adds color and flavor while reducing excessive mozzarella stringiness. The provolone adds a deeper Italian aged flavor. and also reduces excessive stringiness.
    PS: Parm reg on top adds flavor, too.

      I live in South Florida and there’s a pizza chain here called Blaze Pizza. They offer a Keto crust that’s only 6 carbs for the whole crust. I tried it and it’s good.

    Because the Keto Twins made this pizza this week, I gave it a try. After hearing your wife and the twins say that it isn’t eggy tasting I was convinced. Okay, here I sit feeling like everyone else! Eating a pizza with a crust that is very much like the grain versions. No egg taste and no egg texture. I would know! I have hated eggs my entire life. Texture and taste.

    As a carnivore I’m thankful for the trailblazers that create great recipes. I will definitely try it. Also just to say I really love the way at the end on the video you and your wife sit down together and actually eat and discuss and analyze the food taste, texture etc. So better to me than just taking a bite and saying it’s good.     You could make this into a breakfast pizza. Use your carnivore alfredo, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, and then cheese😊. You could package and sell all your stuff!

      I used to work for Domino's Pizza back in the '80s and my favorite pizza to make at the start of a shift was a breakfast pizza (no sauce, though). So good!

    I've been waiting to have time to make this for dinner and, finally, tonight was the night. It was SO GOOD! My wife gave it a 10 out of 10 and our 3 year old didn't know the difference -- to him it was just pizza! If you know how picky toddlers and little kids can be, that's really an accomplishment.

    One of the best things about this pizza - early satiety with all the healthy fats and meats! No bread "carb triggers" in the carnivore version to cause "whole pizza demolition"! Can't wait to try it!!❤

    BRO!!! Make it.....Freeze it......produce it......sell it!!! There's not a single Carnivore pizza in the market, and if there weren't enough Carnivores that would eat it (the number is growing exponentially) There are definitely enough Keto customers to make it work.

    SANDWICHES.....
    My first comment on you tube ever. Have been carnivore since January 2023. So many health improvements as others have said. Not going to repeat. AWESOME pizza crust recipe Chris. Keep up the great recipes. Today I made crust in 2 cookie sheets from basically corner to corner. Cut into 8 pieces each and use 2 as pieces of bread. Makes a great sandwich that doesn't fall apart. I have missed my sandwiches and thanks to you I can now have them. Give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed

    It was excellent! I eat pizza but pull all the toppings off and throw the crust away. To be able to eat the crust was so satisfying. It was delicious and very filling. I ate 3 pieces and was stuffed. My husband polished off the rest of it. 😂 Thanks, Chris.

      You don’t have to, but I think they do cook better that way. It lets the bottom get darker while keeping the center softer. But either way works.

    My grandson loved his personal pizza! It really does handle like a conventional pizza crust. We made one with sausage, olive oil and anchovies, with a sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano, and a bit of cayenne. Just like mom made. Macros for full recipe: calories 1802, protein 99 gm, carbs 22 gm, fat 146 gm. Do the math for however much you eat.

    Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. My husband just had an esophagectomy and will not be able to eat a “normal” pizza. He will be on an esophageal diet for life and this recipe will be acceptable. This recipe will be our new go to pizza. God bless you.

    Words can't describe how much I want a slice of that pizza. Those pizzas look like something you would see on a freaking pizza commercial. At first I was all like "that crust sounds like a lot of work", but as I saw it come together and considering I am good at tasting food by looking at it, I think the work would be well worth it. I'm not much of a cook, but I might have to try this.

    Honestly, you are a genius. I have just discovered your channel. I was following keto for 6 years but fell off the bandwagon and gained 5 kilos in what seemed like 5 minutes, so have talked my husband into doing carnivore too for a couple of months then we will scale back to keto.     I will definitely make this! This is the best reason for this keto girl to buy egg white powder! This fills a huge hole for me. I love pizza more than anything, just about, but there’s also a social element to pizza. Like you guys were saying it’s often an event. A movie night or a special occasion or having friends over or whatever. It’s definitely a celebration food whether it’s, for special time or, a celebration of being alone and being able to get whatever toppings YOU want, or some special movie you’re going to watch from home. You filled a very large gap, Chris. You’ve given me the things I’ve missed. You’re aces!!

      I'm just wondering what or why there is a thing called egg white powder. Where do we get such things?

      Originally it was designed as a protein powder or as a way to keep eggs shelf stable. Online is the easiest place to get it. It’s just freeze dried egg whites. The proteins with no liquid bound up in them act different than liquid egg whites when cooked. Here’s one I like to use.

      I agree this is a great idea. Whenever we go to go family celebrations, I take a keto/carnivore version of whatever is being served for my husband and I to enjoy (along with some extra in case any one wants to try some). It makes us feel more a part of the celebration and not like we are being deprived. It makes staying keto/carnivore much easier.

    I made the crust a couple weeks ago and put it in the freezer. I made the pizza today...finally. OMG my husband and I liked it alot. I should have cooked it a bit longer, but I thought some of the items were starting to burn...they weren't. 2 thumbs up from me!!!

    Ooo, just made this for dinner. I had pepperoni, ground beef, and bacon. I will buy sausage for next time. The only thing not Carnivore that I put on it was some Banana Peppers. So yum! My non-Carnivore Diabetic husband ate it and was happy to not have the carbs. This was very easy to make. THANK YOU!!!

    I am so thankful for this recipe. I especially love the carnivore Alfredo sauce you made because that is what I like on my pizzas.     you are the most talented cook I've ever watched. This brings me so much joy knowing there is not one single ounce of almond flour. You are making my keto journey that much easier. I tried Keto 2 times and I failed because the majority of YT use almond or coconut which doesn't taste good.

Often I find if I can make a bread product carnivore instead of just keto I actually like it better. If it’s not done right it’s terrible, but if I get it perfect I think it always tastes better than the keto options.

    Our family would always order pizza with alfredo sauce anyway so I know we would dig this. Since it is a bit of work I love that you could make several and freeze them for the future. You are amazing as always!

    I made this recipe last night. Super simple and tasted so delish. I made up another batch of the batter today and made 3 pizza crusts with the batter. They are thin, and now in the freezer. Can pull out of fridge for the kids for a quick meal.

    You are a kitchen genius! I'm so thankful you are carnivore and you wife is keto...On days I want food extremely low carb I go your route, on days I have more wiggle room I go her keto route!! I'm for sure using your mayo and ranch! those extra carbs in pre-made sauces add up! I want some garlic butter dip (just like PaPa John's) to dip my pizza in...getting the stuff to make it today!

    Hello Chris, I tried the crust recipe today and when it was lukewarm out of the oven, I wasn't a real fan. After it cooled a little more, I served myself up a piece of pizza, and it was delish. The crust is a bit of work, but I think had I mixed up the whites and put them aside in another bowl, I could then mix up the cream cheese etc. in the stand mixer bowl.
    Also when my whites finally firmed up, I also did the reverse by putting the cheese and yolk mixture into the whites with the square paddle and only letting it go by pulse until combined. I then added the other 2/3 of the cheese/egg yok mixture and let the machine paddle carefully fold it by pulsing. It was a lot less work providing you have a stand mixer. Taste wise it was a win. I did add 1 tsp of Italian seasoning to the dough mix. 🥰😁

    I made this for dinner tonight and despite the fact that I messed up the recipe, it turned out pretty good. It would have been amazing if I followed the recipe. I was in a hurry and just skimmed the written recipe and overlooked some key steps. My batter ended up really runny because while prepping the ingredients, I placed the divided egg powder and gelatin in the same bowls to add at the same time. However, I discovered after that it is very clear in the video they need to be added separately. Chris’s recipes are easy to follow with simple steps, but its good to remember that those steps are there for a reason 😊. The fact the crust still turned out is a testament to how forgivable most of these recipes can be. I can wait to try this again and follow the recipe. Thanks again for a great recipe.

I've been loving the whole process and how easy it is, but I'm definitely missing creative kitchen cooking.       @Bee-of5xz love your pulled pork suggestion. My wife and I are bbq judges, and growing up and with family living near Memphis, we definitely have various bbq meats around that make great toppings. We make our own keto bbq sauces which are great on the pizza. Enjoy. 😋👍

    I've watched a lot of cooking shows and cooking videos. You have got to be the best at explaining and showing what to do, what something should look like, and why. I am so impressed by your techniques and the ease with which you explain everything in such a friendly and non-overwhelming way.     One of the great things about Carnivore is its simplicity. This is just way more work than I want to go through. Fathead dough using powdered pork rinds instead of nut flours is as complicated as I want to get. All of that being said, I applaud the work you did. Really, this is culinary genius. I would pay money for this in a restaurant, but I don't want to do all that work.

    Lol. Was following along step by step. My mixtures never looked like these, either in color or consistency BUT the crust still came out fine.
    Dirtied a lot of various dishes along the way. Got to the afredo sauce, realized I didn't have cream so I melted some more cream cheese and added a little more water. It came out.
    Finally, I got to the LAST step where I had added all the toppings and was going to pop it in the oven for the last time.
    ....and then Chris says "I like to pre-heat my oven to 525 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour before I put the pizza in."
    (Slaps forehead....ok, hopefully, after all this, it still comes out right).

    Thank you so much for the recipe. I saw it this morning, ordered the gelatin and egg white online and it came in time for us to have pizza for lunch. We had been using fathead dough for the last few years on keto, but this is so much better! My pizza loving hubby thanks you so much as well!

    I think I need a new WOE category for me called "lazyvore". I really want to have this pizza because it looks great, but I have gotten so lazy by putting a steak or hamburger on the grill.     It's great Chris thx, I just saw that pizza places put sauce on then cheese because the vegetables that you put on has water in them that will make your crust soggy and oils from the meats also maybe so layer sauce, cheese, meat, veggies, then a little cheese on top.

    Your detailed instructions made the crust preparation so simple for a novice. my baking skills do not come close to your expertise, how ever as I type, my five personal flat pizza crusts are in the oven baking, I'm checking at 8, 10, and 12 minutes just incase the smaller thinner size makes a difference in cook time...I only have a small counter top oven, so I'm working with what I have...I'm so excited to not be left out of pizza night anymore! Thank you for sharing your time and amazing attention to detail!

    That looks really good. Wish there was a recipe and process for a similar but simpler version of this -- one for people who have only one hand mixer and not a kitchen full of pro equipment.

      This whole recipe can be done with a hand mixer or even a whisk and some arm muscle for that matter. The hardest part is the egg white whipping. A hand mixer or a whisk and arm muscle will work no problem. Timing for a mixer just depends on how fast it runs. Might just take an extra few minutes and some effort by hand but that’s how chefs have done it for 100 years. 👍🏼

    I am going to try this soon. I have been making a chicken crust that I like very much, but this looks so good that I want to give it a try.     I followed your instructions to the T and I'm so disappointed! I followed every step so carefully and then when I finished making the pizzas, they disappeared in like 5 minutes! You need to have warnings about stuff like this because it's so damn good there is never any leftovers. I'm just trying to have a nice meal with my family not fight over who gets the last piece of pizza! Seriously though if you are hesitant about trying this recipe don't be. It's definitely worth it!
