You are both right Chris (the one with the long nose) and Shawn (Clown) are both percussionists and backing vocalist. "Clown" is known for beating on kegs with a baseball bat.
The song was written about record labels who initially showed no interest in signing a recording contract with the band. The lyrics, "I bleed for this and I bleed for you/ Still you look in my face like I'm somebody new/ TOY - nobody wants anything I've got/ Which is fine, because you're made of/ Everything - I'm - NOT", reflect this attitude.

Also they were labeled Satanists (they're not they're atheists) so they wrote a semi satanic song as a big F You. Also their guitarists are giants. Jim (shorter hair) is 6'6 and Mick (long hair and hockey type mask) is 6'4
I wish they'd pan to the audience occasionally when they do these kinds of performances cause I feel like the reactions would be HILARIOUS 🤣

This era is my all time favorite from slipknot, pure raw emotions but still hungry for more. Also miss c. Mentions that this isn't good for coreys vocal chords, she was right, corey taylor in this time wasn't properly trained to do screams, he used his pure strength to mantain his false chords on which isn't safe. That's why years later in 2004 he had to change his vocal style. Nowadays 24 years later he sings perfectly and can scream with a good technique

@@CoachCastTV he had, after years of training he was able to get back but it shows how important is to learn proper technique.
Left behind is a classic, grew up in that slipknot era. Was the best video I had ever seen at the time, try to find the uncensored version if you can, although probably can't upload that one. Wait and bleed was also a staple of my youth!
Ah yeah, a bit of nostalgia here for me. Went a couple years there where a Slipknot CD was always in the front of my CD case to jam with while driving. Really appreciate the switch up between a more "spoken word" type of approach and the "harsh vocals" that drove home the lyrics.

We do think that will be one we do in the relatively near future. With the pop on the channel, Coach turns to Slipknot for an escape sometimes. LOL
I still say make it a double, you'll love it. Music video first followed by the live performance. I know everyone loves the live and I do too, but the music video adds a ton of emotion and context and I really love the full production song.
