This album was so important for me and many other disaffected and frustrated young people back in the early 2000s. Its absolutely an acquired taste but if you've ever been in one of those really dark places and turned this on you know how healing it can be.
I can't say I understood all of it but I enjoyed it. Mrs. Coach is struggling a bit more, but we'll keep trying. Glad to hear this music is important to people. They have a very unique presentation.
Early slipknot is pure rage, and I love it so much!

They change the jumpsuits and mask every album and touring cycle.. this happen to be in 2002 when they was still younger. The other video was in 2009 when they all matured. it's 9 people in the band

I was at this concert in February 2002. It was just as insane as it looks and was probably one of the best experiences of my life. Id like to recommend "spit it out" live at download 2009 please.

I recommend "Killpop" by Slipknot its a song i always recommend to female listeners getting into slipknot its very seductive kinda dark and slower but not as many hard vocals you can hear all the lyrics well. The official music video is very well done as well. As you get into more slipknot official videos you will see more of there art and talent as one of the members does most of the videos "clown" the one who hits the keg! I also recommend JINJER - Pisces (Live Session) | Napalm Records. Maybe she will like a female front that growls better? You both will love Jinjer!!! Metal music is a release that energy you felt wanting to break something thats just it.. its unused energy in us that needs purged and music like this lets you get it out that rushh its a drug really is....

@CoachCastTV that was absolutely apparent 😂 she definitely wouldn't be able to handle many of their music videos. I still recommend the music video for Snuff though, that one is safe and deep with meaning for the song.
Speaking of music videos, I'd love to see you two cover Five Finger Death Punch songs Wrong Side Of Heaven (veteran related) and The Tragic Truth (singer's alcoholism). I think you two will enjoy those and the meaning in them is very apparent and heart tugging.
One last song. Stone Sour's song SAY You'll Haunt Me is a classic that will show you a very different side of Corey Taylor that you both will really enjoy.

Definitely pay a small attention not just on lyrics and understanding of the song, but look at style and professionalism behind this band. Have a look at same song from the same concert and pay attention how master you should be behind just playing song like that.

You need to watch some of the drumcams from this dvd. Joey was the dogs bollocks when it came to drumming.
There are new masks every album for every member, but every year they make minor changes to their masks until they have a new album. There videos explaining the timeline of their masks.

One of my pregame football songs!!! My coach allowed only me to wear my headphones in the locker room pregame, and then woul hand them to me at halftime.... Just kept the animal alive!!! But when wed step out on the feild, an absolute calm would come over me.... And then id step over the sideline... And this song would happen!!!!

Early day slipknot was very heavy and emotional. I hope yall continue to evolve into their music. As their albums go on through the years they get alot more melodic

Not just the rage coach... Their depression, their frustrations with people who just comprehend anything in life.... Or in my case how a mother could just bounce you from one crack house to the next, disappears for 6 moths at a time... Leaves you to work, go to highschool, and pay the bills at the same time!!! Then you ho to school and get shit on by teachers because your grades are low, but thats only because your doing half the classes f****** homework, and acing the damn tests!!! Literally if any young person reads this!! Just know, uou arent the only one thats gone though hell!!! And there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! And yes!! Open up about it!! There is a plethora of people that will be there for you!!!!
