"So, Danielle, take us through a typical day of being a social worker" Danielle: There's never a "typical day" of being a social worker. Damn, Danielle petty af.
She said the best thing is to get some life experience and then later said she regretted taking six months off after high school before starting uni??? Wth?
Get life experience? More like work with the Corrie...if you know what I mean... White collar criminal defence lawyers who learn from who? The answer's in the question!!
Such a helpful video thanks!! To the people with the nasty comments, why did you click on this video if you think social work isn't a career? A billion of videos on youtube but you decide to complain on this one.
I'm sorry, but her biggest career regret was taking a 6 month break after high school? Really? Way to provide helpful education/career advice to people looking to commit to their career....
AM I the only one who notices that the music in the background is "I'm Everywhere" by Technoaxe? I'm waiting for JackSepticEye to start saying "Thank you guys so much for watching. If you like this career path punch that like button- IN the face.."
I graduate from Arizona State univwrsty with my BA degree in social work, and its almost 2 years I haven't found any job in social work fild even assistant social work is no chance. here is my story due to my family convincing that social work career is the best career and I can find job easily so anyway I graduated from ASU having 45000 students loan on my shoulder and sadly moved to CA , the worse state in the world for special work job specially orange county. let me warn you Do not take the career or college to pursuit social work. social work careers is not a dis appointment but also after getting your BSW all social work jobs are asking only for Master in social Work. so when you go to univesrties they never tell you that you will not find job unless you get your masters so after achieving your BSW you realize that without Master degree your BSW is a toilet pepper meaning not only you get a slap of wake up call but you also realized that student loan to pay , so after not finding job you realize that you need to get your master in social work , so by the time you graduate not only you you will get a job and you will be lucky to find a job fir 18 dollers an hours and don't forget by the time you get your master you will end up with 150.00, students loan ..and one morthing please please please don't move to the welfare state CA if you are non haspanic speakers because this is not a state that stands for minoraties, if you are not haspanic or black you can say goodbye to your career for social work. please don't think your BSW degree mean anything.. so state of CA is fir haspanics and blacks only and Not minoraties
There are only 2 people there - probably friends - I agree but she's so blond.... they're so skinny, so middle class.blah blah blah...they might have mixed genes, bleached hair... they're both women, young women...
I manage disabled clients in the social care industry where the only people who like social workers are themselves. Social workers are evil, emotionally castrated and vindictive. They tend to go into the profession with lovely ideals but are turned in to vicious accounts within six months.
This was a really watered down on what social workers do.
Bland as heck

All australians are like that
its true tho lol
She said the best thing is to get some life experience and then later said she regretted taking six months off after high school before starting uni??? Wth?
idk
it's strange
I suppose she meant life experience in things relating to social work. Taking 6 months off doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get life skills.
Get life experience?

some people just can't handle it I know I just graduated with a class of 500 and only 45 are going to college
Well if you wait longer you forget more information and it takes you more time to finish your education. Taking a break isn't for everyone
@@Petrichorus- Eh I disagree. Taking a break can really help clarify what direction you want to go in. But it depends on your mindset

Saleema, I'm a community developer (MA) from Mexico (dual citizenship). May I find a job in CA in social or community field?
most jobs do state that you need a masters to get employed
How's life treating you now? After a full year?
Agreed. I never had an issue finding a job when I have my bachelors, however I do have more opportunities and pay with a masters.
