Hi! I'm starting my MSW this Fall in California. loved this video! I'm thrilled and also little worried about studying. This your video helps me feel relaxing :)
hi! best of luck on starting your msw journey! you’re going to do great!! it may feel overwhelming at times, but just keep your focus on the end goal! ✨
I’m starting my MSW tomorrow! Glad I found your channel :’) Mine is set up the same way with shorter classes but I’m focusing more on individuals & families. That fully checked off to-do list was so nice 😩
Hi, thank you and best of luck with grad school!✨ If you ever have any questions about application process or admissions, don’t hesitate to reach out! 🥰
Loved this video! Very motivating :) from a fellow social work student in Australia. I also am hoping to go into medical social work too! keep up the good work.
Hi ! I’m starting my MSW this fall it’s advanced standing and in 2 semesters. I have heard there aren’t really tests but rather more papers and reading? Is that easier or harder ? I will be working as well but it’s in the hospital so it’s nice to be in the field that I want. Any feedback ? 🙂🙂🙂
hi there! congrats on starting your MSW soon! it's definitely lots of reading, writing, and projects as opposed to exams. through my personal experience, some professors give weekly quizzes in addition to the assignments and discussions, so just a heads up it's not uncommon! i personally prefer reading and writing over exams because i'm not the best test taker and i know that's the case for many others. i love having the ability to write freely as opposed to being restricted to exams that don't allow me to learn while also expressing my own opinions. hope this helps and good luck on your future education endeavors! :)
Just wanted to say, I am a dude but I really enjoyed this video! I’m trying to learn the ropes of this social work life and figure out where I really want to work before I graduate soon 😬
That is so funny how you don't drink coffee with breakfast, becos I don't either! Idk why its so hard for me to do that together lol. I always eat breakfast first (usually w/ water) and then coffee afterwards!
Congrats!! I’d definitely recommend to be as confident as you can be and believe in yourself! Sometimes we’re our own doubters, so a positive mindset is definitely key. I’d also recommend reviewing basic interview questions and preparing responses ahead of time. That always works for me! Self-confidence and assertiveness go a long way! Good luck✨
i believe you can, but i would just recommend viewing the requirements of the schools you’re interested in! for instance, some if not all require a completed course of statistics during your undergraduate which is something to consider. hope this helps! :)
yes definitely! I personally only worked part-time while in grad school, but many of my colleagues were working full-time! this may also depend on the fact that I did an online program.
Hey there! I hope all is well. What school do you go to? Is it 100% online? I’m currently in the process of pursuing my MSW degree, but just trying to find a good online program. Please advise, and thank you in advance!
@@carolynnicolev That’s great! I’m glad you’re having a good experience. I’m going to do some research on your school. Thank you for your response! Take care ❤️
i’m personally doing full time in my accelerated program and i recommend it! i’ve also been able to work part time throughout the program except when i did my internship this past fall! internships are typically like a full time job, so that’s something to keep in mind. if you’re not in a rush to get your degree then part time might be a great option too!
I just graduated with my MSW 🥂✨!! Good luck to you and everyone going for & achieving their goals 🤍🍀
congratulations!! what an amazing accomplishment!! you are going to do great things 🤍 best of luck to you as well✨

What kind of kindle do you have or recommend? I like how small yours is!!!
hi! I think my kindle is the 10th generation. not the paper white, just the regular one :)
Hi, what did you do during undergrad to make you stand out and get accepted into your program? :)
I have a interview next week for the master's program. Do you have any tips to help me prepare for my interview?

Hey I truly enjoyed this vlog❤❤❤. Were you a full time or part time student???
Hello, what university is your program at and would you recommend it? I’m looking at programs and am curious.
Can I do MSW after ba history?
i believe you can, but i would just recommend viewing the requirements of the schools you’re interested in! for instance, some if not all require a completed course of statistics during your undergraduate which is something to consider. hope this helps! :)
Love this!
Can I ask what you do for work?
thank you so much! I used to work in quality assurance, but recently started substitute teaching as a part-time job while I finish up my degree :)
What breed is your dog? He looks like mine a little. I adopted him and have no idea what he is
We think he’s mostly miniature pinscher, but he’s adopted too so we’re not exactly sure what other breeds he is! :)
@@carolynnicolev I’ve heard that my dog could be min pin too. Thank you for sharing!
Can you do an MSW while working FT?
yes definitely! I personally only worked part-time while in grad school, but many of my colleagues were working full-time! this may also depend on the fact that I did an online program.
