Why am I suddenly addicted to videos of Black ladies styling their hair every which way? It's so therapeutic to watch!! I love the ones with elaborate braiding styles. I bet those elixirs smell like heaven too.
I’m white and a straight married man and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about your Culture. Great job. The body and bounce and shape are beautiful!!
Shall no one give you any trouble for your comment. I'm part Black but also with White and two tribes Native Native ( engaged to White man ) but my hair is straight up Black!
Bless your very spirit for your comment!
Not the bounce 🤣🤣
And I'm Black, with thick, curly, afro hair and I lov ur comment. One lov
@@holyexperience1976 oh shut up
Ok, great that's what's it all about learning and understanding each others culture rather than hating and fighting each other....
I love a stylist that uses an old school method. I'm hot comb all the way!❣
If that is your thang, no harm done! 😉
I remember my Mama or Aunt would press my hair. Great memories and healthy hair!!!!
Beautiful!!!!!!!
Same here
I love your technique with the hot comb and how you protected her natural hair🔥🔥 Soul boujee premium hair oil is definitely worth the try. My hair is thriving!
I love the product I use it on every client ! 💕
The way you part her hair is so satisfying!
Excuse me, why is this woman not more famous?! Miss, your handywork is mindblowing. You have such talent and I look forward to more videos 🌹
Maybe one day when get more viewers or it becomes part of suggested videos.
Love how you took the extra steps to protect her curls...wish I was close!
Same lol I just saw she lives in Texas and got super sad
@@Nejigirl4427 which part of Texas?
@@misskakes2012 Houston
Why does all of the people that do great hair and care about your hair live in other states.
Wow. I'm definitely taking pointers. Got 4 girls with A LOT of hair and I don't want them to have heat damage cause of me. Thanks so much...OAN..I am going to order some of that oil!! It's needed. THANKS!!
I was online looking at hot combs and this video popped up so I watched it. I’m 2 years late but I’m a huge fan and subscriber to you now! That end result is absolutely GORGEOUS! It looks silky soft and flows beautifully! It even has a feathered look! So glad I found this video! Great job, girl! You are KILLIN’ it! 👍😍
Thank so much for the love and the support 🫶🏾💕
Her, hair is in good condition! She, must take care of it! 😀
Soul Boujee Pure Naturals Hair Growth Elixir is the truth..My hair has been growing fuller and thicker..No harsh chemicals at all..Nothing but pure natural oils..Great stuff....
I just got my hair done in a similar method and I love it! I didn't have a massive amount of split ends because I cut the fuzzy tips off my mini braids. She used a heat protector serum and some very light oil. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful results. Her hair looks so healthy. Love it
As a young Asian man, I didn't know what a hot comb was (although I had a pretty good idea, by the name of it).
Saw an interview where Denzel Washington referred to a hot comb and decided to go and look it up.
Thank you for the great video!
Here fpr the same reason too lol
What did he say about it?
@@cfoster6804 He said it's culture. Some people know what a hot comb feels like and others don't.
I was brought here for that very same reason.
Amazing. I am Hispanic and have plenty of black friends and associates but to be able to see something so intimate as this is awesome. I knew hair was a struggle but never knew it was at this level of professionalism
I liked this video for the simple fact that I loved the sectioned parts! I might adopt it!
So glad you back I enjoy watching your videos 📹 and she is so cute. What you do to your clients hair is beautiful 😍 ✨ 💖 💕
I got my hair pressed & curled by my og hairstylist from age 5 to age 16. It would be a good hard press & if I didn't get it curled at certain times she would really hit those Knicks & crannies lol cause she would say she had to cause she wasn't going to use the curlers that would hit the other areas that she wouldn't have to cause it's getting the heat from the curlers. I didn't know anything about a flat iron if they were around I didn't know anything about them. It was the late 80's. You are talented to press hair with a straightening comb. You have to know just when it's too hot & how long to wait until it's cool enough for you to hit your next section. That takes skills. You did an amazing job it's looks so good too me.
As a man, this is so attractive to watch women of color do hair styles like these. 😍
who asked, matthew

We really let the speed of things mess us us when it comes to black hair. We truly became the I want it now, I want it faster. This era of hairstyling needs to come back. This women’s hair is so healthy. I remember going to JC Penny’s and getting my hair done like this. When Ms Isis was done pressing my hair I was SLAPPING AND POPPING HANDS of people( mostly females) trying to see if I had tracks in my hair. Y’all know how we women are to each other. Smh. The way she is blow drying the hair HITS different👏🏾👏🏾 the flow of promoting the hair to extended to its full length😮 and breakage is so much less, if any🫰🏾🫰🏾 show out miss stylist making me wish I had a jet cuz I know your in another state 😢
I love the way you parted her hair!! Gonna try that!!
Thanks so much for the video I did go to the etsy store and buy the oil scalp treatment and got my 15% off yay😍 Also I appreciate you introducing new hair care products to me. Im still learning like many to care properly for my natural hair. I wish I had youtube growing up and youtubers like you care about teaching our community.
Very helpful! I'm trying to learn how to do my own hair before I leave for college, so this video is definitely a starting point ❤️
🤩 her hair looks so good. So much work. 🙌 nice job and nice video. 🙏🏼
I LOVE your vintage hot comb!!!!
It's all bent in the front. At least she knew how to maneuver without snatching strands with the tip.
This is probably odd, but man your hands are beautiful 💕
Nada odd at all! 😉
Aaaah yesss,beautiful❤
I came here after just hearing Denzel Washington talk about a "hot comb".
I'm a 36yo German, I have never seen this before in my life.
Same here. "Culture difference." When he said hot comb, I didn't understand. Straight to you tube.
Ok cool
Texas has soft water. I lived in Ft. Worth for 5 years and my hair flourished while living there. I'm back in Atlanta and the water is extremely hard and makes my hair dry and it barely grows. She has very healthy hair..
Actually texas has some of the hardest water in the state. We gotta use water filters.
Georgia definitely has some hard water
I one day wish to be this good at taking care of my own hair. Props to you! 👏
Nice
This is so relaxing
I love the shape of her hair!
This is so therapeutic to watch 😌
❤ I love this. Thanks for sharing. You are truly talented. You have inspired me to go natural. I just don't know any hairstylist that service natural hair.
READY FOR MY APPOINTMENT!
That last step is what made the difference, the styling with the spritz!
This is incredibly beautiful
I’m natural and looking for someone. Love your video!!!!
Her hair is fabulous! I definitely need to order that hair oil. I have so many problems with dry hair and scalp
Nice hair, and you're so true Houston weather is nothing but humid and spritz is necessary
Thank you for this video I learn so much. What heat protectant did you use?
Hope you have an Amazon storefront for all these products you’re promoting! Thanks for the lesson! I just bought a hot comb to handle my kid’s 4C hair.
Oooo look at her beautiful hair 4 A hair to me is the best it’s sooo luscious I have 3b hair and it’s ok but not as versatile as 4a; that texture can wear as is , twist out, and do braid outs and look gorgeous, my hair won’t twist out bcuz it won’t coil on the ends 🥺
I love your work and your technique, how you separate in quads before the dryer setting. Reminds me of how I use to part my girls hair for their ponytail styles😊
Gah dang now I see why getting hair done is expensive that hair looks amazing before and after.
Beautiful hair and looks healthy
Looking forward to trying your oil elixir. Just ordered it....let u know how it goes. Thanks
This is sooo informative
Damn she good at doing hair!
Gorgeous hair!
I had a lady do this technique to me. After she blew it out, I didn’t even need a press. I just wore it straight lol
Cuz when u did the first flat iron I clutched my pearls 🤭🧐🤔but that second pass wit the bump 😍😍🙌🏽 life SHINE BODY OMG💪🏽🙌🏽💯
You did a beautiful job.
the result was great! 🇧🇷
What flat iron are you using?
it's a beautiful work done✨ 💕 what are the name of that straightener she's uses in 8:26 min?
What is the spritz you are using. It wasn’t in the list of products used? Also what was the creamy stuff put on her edge before you blow dried you didn’t mention it in the video? Love your work😊
Where was the hot comb though
@8:29 🥴
What heat protectant do you use?
I love how you do the hair, I will like to know where is your beauty salon.
Very pretty... healthy hair
Where did you buy the first flat iron , what the name of it ?
For fine hair, would you put blow dryer heat, hot comb heat and then silk pressing?? I have fine hair so just asking...
Beautiful 💕 I wish you were in Chicago. You would be my stylist.
Looks good !
I’m about to use my hit comb but i don’t like that mine don’t have settings and it says , up to 500 degrees , I’m glad to see yiur method with getting under the dryer for the roots bc that always happens to me , that my roots be still wet
Nicely done 👍❤️
Very pretty 🥰!
Beautiful💜🔥
Hair looks so beautiful, like the hairstyle black women had in the 90’s
Hair looks good
Now that flat iron is almost truly flat! 😉☺😂😂😂😂😂
What is the name of that brush that your using to blow dry the hair
Beautiful job
Beautiful ❤️
I wish I was in Houston I'm scared to let anyone do my hair and I need it straight for my wedding
Lord I wish I was Houston so you can do my hair. 2 years natural and I haven’t straighten it buttttt I’ve had my hair trimmed twice
I need to know what kind of shine spray she used.
Very nice!
Beautiful hair! I love it.
Can you show this technique with someone that has 4c hair?
Great Job
Question! So when I got to silk press my own hair at home, should I only use a hot comb (mine is electric ) just on the perimeter roots? I dont need it throughout my entire head? My roots are from the motherland. 😭
Maybe I missed it but was the hair wet when you started or was it dry and you just put the oil on?
Beautiful all day and every day 💕I love your work and I'm a worker 2
What did she brush on her hair before putting her under the dryer?
Beautiful
What did you put in the beginning, in the front of her hair , was that mousse??
OMG just realized you're in HTX.....I need to come see you!
Yeasss! H-Town! Pull upppp! Lol thanks for watching !💕
Thanks ❤
Hey Boo!!!
So neat
Your voice reminds me so much of Kenya Moore .. especially some
Words you say aha. Beautiful results
Wow really Kenya Moore?! 😅That’s a first, I’ll take the compliment! Hahaha ! Thanks for watching ! 💕
Where can I find the hair clips you used??
Omg are you accepting clients?? I’m in Cypress and I desperately need a treatment lol
What was the product that created the shine?
so I'm a hairstylist out here in Oregon and have just started teaching as well. but I have never used a pressing comb. My question is do you just use the pressing comb to get the root area around the hairline?
Many stylist do because it gets the smaller pieces better. Our parents used this on our full hair back in the day, but stylist like to use it now even as 1 full pass before they flat iron the whole head.
🎉🎉🎉Nice job
I neeeeed that brush
Can you use this comb on a wig or attachment
WILL A HOT COMB ALSO REMOVE SPLIT ENDS?
