Braids are a better protective style than twists. Braids have helped my hair grow very long in just a year while I struggled for years growing my hair with twists. I suggest you keep your hair very moisturized and try mini braids instead of twists. (Not too tightly because of the tension on your scalp) 🥰 Regardless, you’re looking very lovely
Thanks for the tips!
Both work good as long as it's not pulled your hair from your scalp
You look beautiful and your hair has grown so much. 🤩🤩 You will eventually need to cut the ends off. You can do it gradually. Cutting the ends will give it weight and it will grow even better. My hair was the exact same way and when I cut off the ends it took off like a rocket and looks better when I wear it straight. I've been natural since 2011 and it was a struggle those first few years (I did the big chop) but I'm now seeing the results of the patience and effort behind it all. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. XOXO
Thank you so much. yes I gonna trim it. I haven’t done a trim in a very long time. you’re so welcome.
I have very curly, frizzy, thick hair when I comb it out. But the Instyler brush has done wonders for smooth, wavy or straight ends quick- I love it! It’s a pricy tool but it’s lasted me many years already!
Okay, I must invest in one. Thank you so much.
If u notice part of your hair is thick & the bottom half is see thru.. all the see thru need to be cut off. Don't listen to them saying don't cut.. you'll bald headed listen to folks that like to keep scraggly ends. Go to a good salon & get a deep condition & get them ends off. . Theeen u can start out growing in the right direction.
okay I will love. thank you.
Hey miss Pam, it has grown a lot ...don't cut to much just dust the ends off🥰
don't cut to much just the ends
Thank you, okay I won’t. will do.
Thank you sharing this product.
You are so welcome!♥
❤ Thank you for video. Help me make my decision. I will be in the kitchen old school with the combs my granny left me ! Small tooth comb and brush will also help.
aawwhh, you’re so welcome. I’m this video helped you. 💐🥰🥰
Go to a stylist and let them assess your hair and give you a proper trim.
I’ll go after I do a treatment. thank you so much.
@@happydimples39 cut your own hair.
I really appreciate that you're showing us that there are different types of hair in the 'type 4' RUclips community. I would strongly recommend finding a professional who knows your specific hair type to assess your needs and trim your hair. It will further your healthy hair journey! 🙂
Thank you so much. my hair is doing so go. I will show you all real soon.
I flinched on the 1st burn.
Hot tools scare me.
A nice short cut would nice on you.
Thanks for sharing❣️
Thanks for watching!♥
It’s growing!!! Congratulations boo. Don’t cut it and no more pressing, please.
Thank you so much, okay.
Grease your scalp and don’t cut it .. it will thicken up with the grease . Just blow dry it and don’t press or flat iron it . I hate it because my hair looks thinner if I press or flat iron it. Blow dry every few months is okay
Okay, Thank you so much. Will do.
@@happydimples39 your welcome and also put a leave in conditioner in first then your silk and heat protectant . Keep the updates coming your hair has improved a lot ❤️
Let your hair grow curly the way nature intended.
Yes thank you, I am letting it grown naturally. I am loving my hair. ♥
If I were you I would let it grow out more before triming the ends❤
I will do.☺♥
Yes cilp the ends and it will grow better and full
Thank you so much♥
Hi Happydimples39, I hope you are having a blessed day! remember that Jesus loves you so much. I think your hair is growing nicely keep up the good work!
Thank you so much Love! I like that, Jesus loves me! I will do! 🥰
Maybe leave this to a pro. Your hair is in a delicate state... and 8+ passes from a hot comb was NOT a good look.
Thank you love ❤️
Just put it in 20 plaits and trim ends until it grows out, use different oils and blue majic, olive oil, cantu leave-in or african pride leave-in
You need both trim and treatments how don't wait.
It's done, Thanks
I don't want to sound like a broken record because I think I've said this on a couple of your videos, but you comb your hair too much. Your hair strands are very fine and you do a lot of unnecessary combing when styling. I be wanting to take the comb from you....lol!!
Oh thank you! Yes I do remember you saying it. Here, you can take my comb. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What about a hair brush? I don’t comb my hair after I put it in a protective style. I do have a wide tooth comb. ❤️🌹
A really good professional trimming and hair care they can tell you exactly what’s going on your hair looks like it needs professional help
yep look like it. thank you so much.
You really need to go to a professional hairstylist and let them take care your hair your hair really needs a good trimming professionally you have a Lot of damage on it your hair
Thank you so much. I thought it seems damaged. I will do after I do a hair treatment on the next video.
Hi, your hair has really grown out, but you need a reall good trim and a good conditioner it looks very damaged.❤️🙏🏽
Thanks for the tip. I will do and I have another video coming. thank you so much again.
@@happydimples39 Your welcome god bless.❤️
Need treaments and trim. Break from wigs will help too. Get professional help quickly on your hair.
I did and it is doing good now. Thank you.
Pamela! Pamela! Pamela! I have come to the conclusion, that despite your want to have better hair, you have absolutely no clue how to achieve it. This was the very last thing your fine, already damaged hair needs. 🤦🏾♀️
Okay! I was just curious to see the length. it’s been a long time since I’ve used a hot come on my hair. I guess I don’t have a clue to what I’m doing, but I am working on it. seriously!
@@happydimples39 putting direct heat on your fine damaged hair will just cause more damage. There are various ways you could have stretched it using minimal or no heat to see how long it is. I have watched a few of your hair videos and you keep ending up right where you started and possibly worse. From chemical dyes, to rough handling, to various concoctions and now hot combing?!? This is not the way to get your hair healthy. A steady routine of washing, conditioning, moisturising and patience is key.
Only watch this video just a little bit and I noticed that you did 15 passes of those hot comb on your hair that’s not good you’re only supposed to do it once or twice I think you need to get a different are different hot pressing comb this is not how you straighten your hair with a pressing comb because that many times can burn your hair off can permanently take your hair off and that’s not good I know how to do All types of hair black white Caucasian all types of hair with any type of utensil or product and this is not how you do it it
thank you so much for the tip. I’m not a professional. I do what I know. Everyone has giving me so many tips and I try to follow.
Your hair is long. I like it better when it was shorter. And it’s also less maintenance. Long hair is the struggle
Thank you. so true. it’s a struggle.m
It won't grow with bad ends, cut!
I did it, I cut the spit ends. thank you
