  • I’m obsessed with this Hot Comb #PressingComb if I don’t have it I wouldn’t know what to do😩. This is how I achieve all my #Polish looks. Have you ever had a “Old Skool” hot tool up against your scalp😳 Have you ever been Traumatized as a child from yo Granny or Ma🤣🤭 pressing your hair in the kitchen up against the kitchen stove❓We’ll I give all credit to my passing heavenly Hair Fairy Sista “Madam Walker” the First Black American Woman to Be a Self-Made Millionaire and who invented the process for straightening kinky hair. I Thank you Black Sista for paving the way for us Black Sista today in the Hair Game..

    I never had a perm. This is the way my mama straightened my hair my whole life. She used the back of the (rounded part) comb first, then combed it down the length. Had me looking like an Indian frfr. Blowdried my hair w Pink Oil Moisturizer first ❤

    Good to see this. Some cosmetologist don’t want to do this and prefer to slap burning chemicals in hair. Ain’t nothing like the good pressing had back on the day. Those ladies could work and style it and have it looking better than a perm and they would hold up too just got to make sure you had that oversize rain bonnet in purse in case of unexpected change in weather.

  • @Marmite247
    @Marmite247 7 месяцев назад +1

    I have Caucasian hair but it is a mixture of 3b, 3c and 4a in places, I have extreme texture at the roots like this, from my knowledge I know black hair textures can be a lot stronger, but I was wondering if I could use one of these because, even teeny straighteners do not touch the roots and I’m left with texture like at the start of your video when I try and straighten my hair, like it looks like a blow out from roots to mids when I try use a flat iron

    • @TheDifferenceIs19
      @TheDifferenceIs19  7 месяцев назад

      Ok yes your best bet is the pressing comb if the flat irons don’t strengthen it.

  • @Valley__
    @Valley__ 10 месяцев назад +1

    What’s the difference between hot comb and flat iron? My stylist would hit comb roots then flat iron. I had to tell her no more hot comb because my hair would get to flat to head .
