Hi theawesomepersonchuney9642 Praise God for you came through the Chemo. God bless you! I would love to ask you a question about your hair growth, please let me know if it is OK. I am so happy for you❤️❤️❤️
I’m in Memphis I no longer do hair, thinking about getting back to it… in the late eighties everyone came to me for finger-waves , in the nineties updos , and in the 2000s .. I was known for precision haircuts and custom color
I'm straight natural. This is my wash day routine after prepoo, shampoo and deep conditioner. Low heat and it last 7 to 10 days with 4 day/wk workouts.
@@zoebasina1804 Great question. It's preparation for shampooing hair. I make my own but some people may use a good conditioner. Either way, first saturate the hair, I use rice water, apply the pre-poo, allow it to sit for a while - 30 minutes or more then go about the normal wash routine. The purpose is to give the hair a little TLC for health and strength.
I’m in my twenties now but I remember as a kid getting wash-n-sets, and I would looooove how how much hair got thicker as the days went on. I loved how heavy it felt and how textured it felt through the few weeks it stayed straight. Her hair looks amazing and so does the color!!
Beautifully done ! I’m on a natural journey too with my hair, dye free for four years, only straighten for cuts. Hardly goes up to avoid excess pulling ( and I’m getting less tolerant of tight hairstyles as I get older). It’s nearly waist length and by October I hope that my hair is long enough to donate to charity. You taught me it’s okay to cut hair, and I will enjoy the journey of growing it out again !! Thank you for your videos. Love you and your work 🥰💜
You’re so gentle! I don’t think I have ever seen anyone else online who is as gentle. I appreciate that as someone who has some tender spots with a big old head full of thick curly hair. As usual great results 👍🏽💐😍😍
Saving THIS video so my Stylist can understand the #look I’m going for! THIS RIGHT HERE….#texturebaby!❤❤❤❤❤❤ Edit: When I WAS doing hair(90’s/early 00’s) It was braids(Brandy Era), and then PressNCurls! Upstate New York(Syracuse)! I would do undercuts for the Ladies that had precision cuts(another Stylist did those). I shaved lots of roses and slits into the undercuts. Licensed for 23 years…Stopped doing hair in the Shop, but still did some of my OG clients hair at home. I live my Stylist-dreams thru the Stylists on IG and RUclips now!
so satisfying when ends get cut… i use to be one of those ppl who never got their ends cut and now that i’ve been doing it myself it’s so much more healthier
I love the way you trim the ends! Some stylists just can’t resist doing a big chop for at least 3 to 4 inches, because they focus on how they want the hairdo to look. And I know some people who has long thick hair, who stop going, because the stylist loves to trim more than the ends! I’ve seen one or two on RUclips that chop, chop, chop, and chop.😅
Her hair is gorgeous. I'm a stylist in Stephens City VA and I specialize in braid downs for wig/ weave preparation (I do not install wigs/weaves), silk presses, roller sets, and twists on natural hair.
I lived in the Dominican Republic, and that’s what we all do there. In Spanish it’s called un Tubi. It keeps your hair looking soooo nice for days. I love it.
I usually get my hair straightened once a yr so I can get my ends cut off or more if needed. You always do such a beautiful job. If you are in Philly again please let me know because I will drive up from MD just for you. Philly is still my home even though I have moved. Keep killn it Queen!!!! 🔥
Luv your channel!! Her hair is stunning! I get heat on my hair (silk press) every 10-12 weeks. This is also when my stylist gives me a trim. Other than that, every month she gives me a wet set with perm rods. My hair luvs this pattern and it's easy care for me. Stay blessed....
I’m on my hair care journey AGAIN. My hair was mid back length then broke off really badly. By next year this time hoping to be mid back again then I’ll get a bomb silk press! 🤞🏾🙏🏾💜

I LOVE what you said about it not being OK to tell people how they should or shouldn't be wearing their hair.I think that needs to be said ALOT MORE often.I am 55 and I jumped on the natural bandwagon I stopped the perms and only did STS treatments or kept it natural under protective styles but after 10 years of that I was sooo over that.I got a silk press paid over $ 100 the next morning it was 40% afro.I was too done back to perms and that's my perogative. 😊

This is a long text but after watching this video I could not help myself. My hair was always black, long, thick, wavy, heavy but soft and took a lot of heat. I'm 58 now and had been wearing my hair natural for at least 15yrs. I almost always wore natural hair relaxing it once a year and only washing 2 or 3 times a year. Todate my hair is a pepper salt with a one in grey parameter boarding my face and I still only wash it 3-4 times a year. In April 2021 I lost my sister and needed to get my hair done. It was the day before the funeral and decided to go sit in someone's chair. The stylist had her shampoo person comb me through and wash me. I guess it looked like my hair was going to be a lot of work because of the fullness and bra length. She asked if I wanted a Claritin Treatment. Not knowing what it was and and because I do my own hair and now have a lot of grey and not a lot of moisture I agreed. I told her that in the warmer months I wanted to go back to my natural curls. Besides, I normally keep up a good press in the cooler months about 2 months keeping it wrapped. She said it would give me shine and keep my edges straight for 4-6 weeks. I used to be able to get my hair bone straight when I would press it, everyone would think I had a perm. But every since my grey had been coming in the longer and harder it got for me to get it straight. When she was done she pinned curled it for me and I must say, the next day it was beautiful. Everyone asked me who did my hair what did she use. I told them she gave me a Claritin Treatment. I had no clue this was a permanent hair straightener. About months later (June) I decided to wash my hair back to my natural curls. My texture was different it would nap up as usual. I thought about what the stylist had said about my edges being straight for about 4-6 weeks. I blew it out and wore two braids or two braided pig for a whileI would put my two strand twist in but noticed there was fewer twist and they were thinner than usual. One night I decided to try something different, so I corn rolled it with wooden beads. I noticed my parts needed more hair and I normally had to make skinner parts and that even though my hair was straighter in its natural estate I was getting a lot of hair lost. A month later taking my corn rolls out for a wash and press ( myself) for my 32 wedding Anniversary I was in tears at the amount of straight hair loss that was in the sink and on the floor. I could just run my fingers through and my hair would come out. The end of December I asked my daughter to part through my hair to see how many bald spots I had. She found none. I didn't believe her I had lost to much hair not to have bald spots. I was up late one night and I believe it was your channel that showed a woman getting her her done and you explaining the damage from some sort of treatment and Claritin was one named. Immediately I began goggling Claritin Treatment. I was up hours reading the damage and side affects. All I wanted was my hair washed and styled for my sister's funeral. I feel like a part of me died at that salon. My hair had fallen out and broken off so bad that when I went back to the stylist she did not recognize me. When I reminded her she said, "oh you was the one with the long thick hair." She claimed that it must have come from me getting Covid in September. She had to cut off so much hair that mostly in top that I could barely get a ponytail. It is now March of 2023 and my hair has grown back down my back but my fullness and texture is not the same. I used to have thick full waves when I would wet it into a high bun. Now there are few waves and I can't get a bun her to thin. My hair now looks blown out when I wash and two tran twist it. I feel as though I have lost half of my head of hair none of my styles are the same. I miss my twist outs, my two braids and big full bun that people thought had fake hair added, and my press outs that looked like a wig being so full and heavy. Is there any hope of my hair thickness and texture coming back? Have you heard of this happening before? I went to another stylist last month. My hair was bone straight and could barely hold a curl. She said she could see the damage done and for me to come back in 4-6 weeks and she will work on my thickness. HELP! After about
Beautiful hair! Beautiful work! I’m a hairstylist in Fort Worth, TX. I specialize in interlocks! I love the reminder and wisdom on the importance of not comparing!
You really are the G.O.A.T. I’ve been wearing knotless braids/twists for almost 4 years with little downtime in between because of my exercise routine. The day I run into you, these braids are coming out!!!
I had a hairdresser tell me I had to choose being curly or straight. I knew for a fact my hair could do both if I had someone who was using the right techniques. My old hairdresser.. one of the best in Philly retired. Haven’t found a good one yet especially living in a new city. Nice to see this.
Her natural hair is beautiful and color is 💯. Thank you for saying do not let people tell you how you should do your hair as this is your hair. From NYC and I get the Dominican blow dry because I do perm my hair. I have 4dd hair and with the D blow dry I do not have to get a perm as often.
Everything came out so beautiful I love to see curly hair being cared and styled! I'm just a white girl with thin loose curly hair but how gorgeous these hairs are processed always amazes me🫶🏻
Beautiful, I love her hair ❤. I’m a part time licensed cosmetologist in Illinois. I love ❤️ and specialize in natural hair care, silk presses and locs. Thank you so much for your tutorials. I have learned so much from your channel 😇🥰
We appreciate you giving rihanna her day! Always happy when you post. Its a blessing and honor to tune in and spend a bit of time with you. Too much of anything is bad. So some tension and some hear will do you good
I have baby fine 2B hair and I love watching your videos so much. I live in Atlanta and years of watching your videos has given me so much appreciation for the beautiful heads of hair I see around me all the time!
Love YOU, and your positive self! I love what you said about not comparing your hair to other peoples hair! And doing things to keep your hair texture, when you want to go straight sometimes! Nice too see you again! I was wondering where you were ❤
I'm in South Dallas county. Here and in the DFW area I see mostly natural hair, locks and braids but many do wear weaves and wigs. Also straight hair that is short like pixie cuts. I see less of longer permed or straightened hair. I have sisterlocks.
I am on a heat free journey(3 years now) but I did recently go to the salon for a trim and silk press and I found a stylist that is gonna help me on my journey of healthy hair ❤
Great reminder about comparison.. I was big on comparing my hair to other woman .. I understand how important it is to embrace your hair as it is..your channel is a blessing💞
😍 This is exactly how I want my silk press to turn out - with body and not soo much with curls. The trim was what was needed and nothing more. Loved it! A++
It would be great to see more videos of maintaining gray hair like my own(over 75% gray). Since going completely natural 3 years ago its been difficult keep healthy ends due to the inherent coarseness of gray hair. Loved the final style and keep up the great work!🥰💋
Hey deeper it is soooo relaxing watching you do hair and talk with me on ur channel. I’m not a hairdresser professionally but I do my hair from Detroit Mi
Can I just say, "I love you!" You're so detailed from beginning to end. You be on point, while giving out points!❤❤Her hair looks beautiful. You always do a good job!😘I have ALS. I don't get out as much. I used to get my hair done every 2 weeks. I kept my ends trimmed. I've been natural for 7 years. Now, I keep my hair up in a pony tail. I need my ends clipped. I have my sister to wash & blow dry & then press it out.
Oh my goodness, every time, every time the transformations are inexplicably WOW and done with such wholistic health and well being first and foremost 🙏🏼♥️ Bravo 👏 love 💕 love the video and narrative is the best! Peace and joy 🌹
Hey! I am Crystal. I am a hairstylist from Chicago. My specialties are natural hair, sew ins and ponytails that look like they are coming from the scalp lol. I love that you take your time and you clients hair always looks amazing, especially after your plastic cap/dryer trick. I am definitely a chase method girl as well.
I love this channel. It's refreshing to see an "old school" stylist that infuses new techniques. I love a layered cut with a blunt outer perimeter. It's my personal haircut of choice😍🤩. I was looking at other channels saying so, "I'm the only stylist still into blunt cuts"😅.
Love this! Do you ever do roller sets instead of blowouts before flat ironing? What rollers work well for very coily hair? Love your channel! Thank you! 💖
I haven't watched you do a style that hasn't been perfect since I've been watching your channel, You are so knowledgeable and put so much effort in when it comes to hair. I would love you to be my stylist if I lived in the area..

Sitting in her chair was an honor. She got those God given skills too!
She has beautiful hair, curly and straight! I only get my hair straightened about 3 to 4 times a year. In between those times I would wear my hair in a twist out and trim my ends when they would not go into a perfect curl. Love your channel, your skills and talent are bar none! I tell everyone and even hair stylists about your channel. Blessings to you from Houston.
I haven’t used heat on my hair since I cut it in 2016. I am in dire need of a trim but I’m afraid to allow anyone to straightened it 😩 but I enjoy watching you trim/cut other people’s hair!
Her hair is so beautiful and I love watching your channel. I'm from Newark, NJ, but I live in Lafayette, IN. I'm a hairstylist. I specialize in natural hair care and I love doing silk presses. My main focus is braiding though.

So some tension and some hear will do you good
Her hair is beautiful! I love her color! God Bless!
I have baby fine 2B hair and I love watching your videos so much. I live in Atlanta and years of watching your videos has given me so much appreciation for the beautiful heads of hair I see around me all the time!
I can't say it enough...One amazing sister that is true to this game. Love ❤️ your work 🥰
I am loving all the texture, stunning.
You always give me inspiration to take care of my hair ❤️
Love YOU, and your positive self! I love what you said about not comparing your hair to other peoples hair! And doing things to keep your hair texture, when you want to go straight sometimes! Nice too see you again! I was wondering where you were ❤
You are so wise. I love the quotes you choose.
I'm in South Dallas county. Here and in the DFW area I see mostly natural hair, locks and braids but many do wear weaves and wigs. Also straight hair that is short like pixie cuts. I see less of longer permed or straightened hair. I have sisterlocks.
Yes!! Her hair does look super healthy and I absolutely LOVE her color❤️❤️
Stylist has God given talent.
Hi...I'm from DC...in the natural hair movement for myself and my daughter. But not afraid of a silk press every now and then
Her hair looks gorgeous straight and curly, and that color is everything.
Loved the final style and keep up the great work!🥰💋
Beautiful Style
Loving the way You laid Her Hair Looks so Natural and Carefree🎉❤🎉❤ watching You from Orlando Florida 😊❤️🙏🏿
Hey deeper it is soooo relaxing watching you do hair and talk with me on ur channel. I’m not a hairdresser professionally but I do my hair from Detroit Mi
I can imagine you as a little girl playing with your doll’s hair the way you played with the client’s hair. You look like you love what you do.😊😊
Can I just say, "I love you!" You're so detailed from beginning to end.
I love ❤️ how you silk press. It is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Stay blessed 🙏🏽🙌🏽😇
Your little laugh talks are too cute! I just know you have a bomb personality❤
Her hair looks so beautiful ❤️
So hype to see a new video from my favorite person 😍 💕 💗 💓 😍
Yes Ms Keke Learned So Much From Your Channel & YES I'm My Own Unique 55 & Fabulous Self💃🏽

Her hair is phenomenal ❤
Oh my goodness, every time, every time the transformations are inexplicably WOW and done with such wholistic health and well being first and foremost 🙏🏼♥️ Bravo 👏 love 💕 love the video and narrative is the best! Peace and joy 🌹
I love that she still has the texture inherent hair. ❤️
I love when you post something!
Love this! Do you ever do roller sets instead of blowouts before flat ironing? What rollers work well for very coily hair? Love your channel! Thank you! 💖
You not only have magical hands, you have a beautiful heart ❤️
I haven't watched you do a style that hasn't been perfect since I've been watching your channel, You are so knowledgeable and put so much effort in when it comes to hair. I would love you to be my stylist if I lived in the area..
DC babeee all day long born, reside, and live....and I rock my curls 90% of the time. Silk press about 2 times a year! Sis Kee Gurl you got God given skills....and honee shout out to one of the baddest hair stylist I ever had take custom care of my real hair back in the day ....Jamia of Natual Oasis Haircare. Sitting in her chair was an honor. She got those God given skills too!
I’m from Brooklyn it’s usually natural hair in the summer and blow outs in the winter ❤
Hello. I am very limited in my knowledge of social media platforms. So not sure what telegram is nor how to use it.
I’m a hairstylist from Portland,Oregon. I specialize in Silk presses, short hair and color. I love your channel 💜
I love your videos I have been watching them for years now! You taught me how to manage my curly wavy hair! Sending all love nothing but the best❤️
Thanks for watching and I wish nothing but the best as well!
Beautiful work as always. The BODY sold it. I really loved how you swooped the ends back during the press.
I haven’t used heat on my hair since I cut it in 2016. I am in dire need of a trim but I’m afraid to allow anyone to straightened it 😩 but I enjoy watching you trim/cut other people’s hair!
Her hair looks gorgeous. I love the color & how much body her hair has
I love your quotes and messages! God Bless!

Her hair is so beautiful and I love watching your channel. I'm from Newark, NJ, but I live in Lafayette, IN. I'm a hairstylist. I specialize in natural hair care and I love doing silk presses. My main focus is braiding though.
