This thing is better than my flat iron! I’ve always struggled straightening the roots in the back of my head. For some reason no matter how many passes I do with my flat iron the roots in the back of my head won’t get straight. As a curly head gal it’s REALLY annoying to have curly roots and straight ends. But with this comb, the roots in the back of my head get straight with just one pass. This comb also helps keep my hair straight all day unlike my flat iron. This comb is amazing!! i think it’s definitely worth it for the price and performance. i’ve been using it for about 2 years now, and it cut my hair straightening time in half and it usually took me 3 hours total including blow drying!

Hello I'm new to your channel as of today. Thank you for this video I'm definitely a 4C girl and being natural I find it hard to straighten my hair. And I normally would just let my hair air dry so glad that this video gave me that vibe and I'm going to try this on my hair soon.❤❤❤
Give it a try! You can still let your hair air dry before using the brush, if you’d like.

I've had mine about a year and never used mine. Yours is the first video I've seen that shows how to use it very clearly. I have black coarse curly hair when it's longer than usual (I'm white BTW, just to clarify)

I'm not a 4C, I actually have 3 different textures in my hair. I knew if it could get her hair straight, it could do mine. I watched this review 2 hrs ago, I went out and bought it. I just did one section of my hair, this is the best straightener I've ever had! My hair isn't long enough to use this to make a full curl, but I am totally fine with it. I have 3c hair, mixed fine and medium thickness, high porosity. I’ve got the larger tymo paddle brush but I’m really worried after seeing reviews talking about damage over time. Have you had any issues since this video?
I haven’t had any issues but I don’t use this exclusively. I mainly flat iron my hair with the Dyson. I use this when I’m rushing because of how quickly I can get results. I suggest always using a heat protectant and the lowest temperature your hair can tolerate and still get results.

Hey Tessa, I have the Tymo ring and I would not recommend to use this for a long period of time. My hair was breaking when I used it every weekend and it made my hair really flat.
I switched to a normal ceramic flat iron and my hair became healthier. I would stick to the Dyson Corale.
By the way I bought the dyson corale after watching your review at least 30 times.

Yeah I forget that this Tymo is titanium straightener. Titanium is more damaging.

Hi nice video, i just have a quick question about hair straightener, how many times do you advice hair straightening?
İ mean my hair shrinks a lot so how many times do you advice i straight my hair.
I’m not sure what you’re asking. I suggest you do no more than 2 passes with the tool per section to protect from heat damage. I personally straighten my hair once a week or every two weeks if I’m too busy to do my whole routine. Hope this helps!

I'm considering getting this. Your results came out great! What exactly is your natural hair type though in its unmanipulated state? I'm 4c and my hair kinda looks like yours in the beginning when I just blow-dry it. Curious to see if we have the same hair texture and maybe what I could expect.
I’m not exactly sure but I’m in the 4 family. I have a pic of me with my natural hair on my Instagram. It’s an older pic so you have to scroll but you can see my texture there.

When I order my tymo I did not receive a heat protector in it so I believe either it was taken out on the way coming to my country or they didn't put it in
It doesn’t come with the heat protectant. You have to purchase it separately.
have been using this straightener for more than 2 years, and i am in love with it everytime i use it! it never fails to keep my hair straight and shiny, it also doesnt make my hair oily unlike with using other straighteners, but the only downside i could think of about this straightener is that, it is hard to clean, as overtime hair products and other products could build up on this straightener and you might find it very difficult to keep it clean! overall, the product as a whole is great at doing its job!

Put on some protective gloves, turn on too get hot then dip a rag in some perm and wipe clean.Make sure you hold away from face because of fumes but yea wipe clean and Thank me later😊
I love you and your presentation. You are beautiful and your makeup is on point, however I do not like the hot comb. I bought it before I saw your tutorial and tried to like it. I burned myself with the back of it. Like you showed it gets awful hot. That need to be corrected for the consumer sake. I have very thick hair and try different tools this is one of the worst for me. Not a fan at all. You keep up your great videos. 👍

Hey, boo! No. The plates have a plastic guard on the edges that’s supposed to protect you from scalding. I could fell the warmth but it wasn’t hot feeling. Hope your weekend was good!🖤

Yes, your hair has to be dry. You can air dry if you don’t care to blow dry. I liked the heat protectant but it got oily quick so I didn’t repurchase. I loved the shine it gave me hair, though. I’m not sure of the difference between the devices. I only have the Ring Plus. Hope this helps!

I have one similar to this, and it doesn't get close enough to the roots, and your hair just reverts back to frizz.
Sorry it didn’t work! Maybe a traditional flat iron will work better for you. I love the Paul Mitchell Neuro and Dyson Corrale. Maybe, you could give one of them a try? Hope this helps!

I only use a light heat protectant. There hasn’t been any build up on it yet. It’s the same as my flat iron.
If you use heavier or a lot of products then you probably may need to wipe between the blades with a paper towel or so.

I liked it. It gave my hair a nice shine and finish but you can over do it quick. It’s def easy to overspray and weigh your hair down. Overall 7 out of 10.

I was tryna find review for this product cause i was thinking about buy it. For the most part it looks good but I'm not very impressed. I get my hair straighter with my flat iron. think i may just have to invest in a may hot come. I'm really just looking for something for my bane. I have a hard time keeping them straight.
This is for someone who prefers the “blow out” look in my opinion. If you want bone straight hair, a traditional flat iron is definitely better. I mainly use my flat iron but this is a great alternative for a quick style when you’re in a rush.
