I think you might be misunderstanding why it's important to have meat alternatives on the market. For many people, they want to reduce environmental impact and animal suffering, so having alternatives is a good thing not a bad thing. I think you were a bit dismissive of the meat alternatives. This restaurant should be proud they came up with a chicken alternative. I don't see the problem. A lot of people were raised eating all kinds of meat and they have a connection to that way of eating, but as they age they might want to change their diet. So having these kinds of "meats" that taste like other meats they remember allows them to experience the best of both worlds. At least this restaurant is trying to appeal to all people which is rare and positive. To say people should just eat meat or just eat vegetarian doesn't make sense to me. That all or nothing approach just discourages people from trying plant-based alternatives. If you can make plant-based food taste like meat, that's incredibly innovative and should be applauded.

All the dishes look so tempting. Love the Dosa on the Wall concept. Thanks for spotlighting OMNOM and everything they contribute.

Hi Chetna, hope you're well. I have just seen this. Not bad at all eh?? I'm a pure vegetarian. I only eat out at pure vegetarian places. I would certainly give this place a try going for the vegetarian choices only. I used to be so open minded about eating out in pubs and restaurants that served vegetarian food. (You live and learn)!! Thanks so much for your understanding with regard to the Vegetarian vs the Vegan. Thanks so much for your sensitivity and celebrating Indian Vegetarian food in your own videos as well.👍👍🥰

We visit Namaste village in Norwich really frequently and it’s an amazing place to eat and it’s always very busy!
    Their pani puri’s are amazing!
As a vegan it’s wonderful to have so many choices. I absolutely love visiting and I’m so happy to see they’re in so many places (that I’ll be sure to visit if I’m in that hose areas)

Could you tell us in the videos where these places are please ? I noticed that you tend not to say where these places are.

It’s near Angel, Islington. Less than 1km north of the station in a shopping court.
      It’s great, I loved dining here 🥰

yes because she's a narscisst and it's all about her. Never mind the restaurant gives her free stuff. She's selfish and nasty.

I’ve been debating all weekend on returning to London to visit (I immigrated to 🇨🇦 in 2007 and last visited 🇬🇧 in 2010).
I enjoy most of your videos being a life long vegetarian and a fan of yours ever since Bake Off. ♥️
Sadly I am intolerant to onion ☹️ and as we know onions are used the most in any Indian household.
All my cooking hasn’t any onions as I try to emulate my Mum’s cooking.
Thank you for this review of this restaurant and I would certainly try it - I too as well as my family are not fans of anything vegetarian disguised as meat.
If I do return for a visit I would try Omnom if Wembley and nostalgic extended family gatherings at Sakonis don’t lure me first 😃

Everything fried, dosa is high on carb not on protein…man made chicken is all engineered food…I wish they have done something healthy out of it but it’s not going to taste good…

I too can’t understand veggies and vegans having “chicken” or sausages
    Why.?
I love Indian veggie meals and don’t miss meat. If I want meat I will order lamb or chicken.

Because we didn’t become vegans/vegetarians because we don’t like the taste of meat, it’s because we don’t believe animals should be killed for our taste buds.
If we can have something with a very similar taste but without the harm then why wouldn’t we?
