Football in the UK is completely commercialised and the age banding is radical, so many good players slip the net.
I’ve seen so many that slipped here in Southern California . Some are still pushing to make it by playing UPSL or other league here in California . Academies are trash here and ask for $$$$

Very good. However good these scouts are.... they need to be more visible at grass route games... a lot of boys being missed.
All I see is scouts loving kids that hold the ball and never pass.
Yes exactly. The U7 and U8 ages, you only ever see ball hogs get scouted. All they want is someone to dribble with it and shoot and score.
I do feel that english football misses the best passers of the ball at the younger ages.
