I had a beta firmware for OP 3 and crackles of mic 2 were gone. With the new official firmware crackles are back.
They're gone for me (on the latest firmware). Hopefully this problem is solved for good!

Hi Johnny! This is a terrific tour and your hotel looks awesome! Did you prefer The Standard? I know that hotel line is where 'influencers' (whatever they are!! - lol!!) stay and more of a young/hip crowd although I felt like I fit in during a couple of stays at Standard hotels. I think the LA Standard has been sold. This one looks great with lots of things to make a stay nice! Hotels are never perfect but it looks like a good choice! $136 is amazing for a room rate! For me I find such great luck with hotel bed mattresses! I always want to buy one when I come home! Lol! I sleep so well in many hotels! Not sure why! I do always ask for a quiet room! I admit I like I nice room. I stayed cheaper in my younger years but at 59 and working damn hard as a psychologist, and it's a never ending job, I have to luxuriate a bit on trips. I like your room and it's definitely a 3.5 which is great and comfy! Cheers! 🙂

@@johnsmith67931The rates tend to fluctuate according to seasons. I have booked a room for next June at around the equivalent of $50 a night. During the busy tourist season (Dec-Jan), you could pay over $65+ a night.
The Standard was leagues better as a hotel, but that's reflected in the price. If it was entirely on my own dime I'd opt for something in between the two (we were trying to keep costs low on this trip). But if I'm getting cut a deal to stay there and make a video I'd have opted for The Standard lol

The problem is that the pool is shared by both Novotel and Ibis Styles guests so too busy at times
Is this hotel close to the skytrain station Johnny?
Yes but the hotel has a shuttle tuk tuk that takes you to Nana BTS. From there you can walk onto soi 6 all the way to the hotel.
is there a mcdonalds anywhere near this hotel?
About 7 or 8 minutes away by foot yes.

I'm watching from Thailand and mentioned the hotel chair sucks, because it's "iBis Styles" so the design always awkward ... Maybe try regular iBis or Mercure hotel. I highly recommend "Holiday Inn Express Siam" near MBK Center because it's more suitable for you... Love your reviews too
