- Today we are going to take apart the new Airpod Pro's and compare them with the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro! Check them out HERE: bit.ly/Liberty... Not very often do we find new technology entering into wireless headphones. But today we are going to see what Soundcore's new Astria Coaxial Acoustic Architecture looks like from the insides. Yeah, thats alot of big words, but it boils down to two different types of speakers right on top of each other so the soundwaves from each dont conflict with eachother. Its pretty interesting.
We'll be comparing the Soundcoare Liberty 2 pro's to the new Apple Airpod Pros. Pro vs Pro. We'll take a look at the hardware inside the Airpod Pro earbuds themselves along with the Airpod pro charging case. Are these the best wireless headphones on the market? What do you think?

@@catboy3471 the reality is that airpods are only better if you've got an Iphone. Iphone intentionally makes it a little more difficult for android users like not including the eq. The Liberty 2 pro's actually do sound better, but don't have ANC like airpods do. there are also tons of other earbuds that sound way better then airpod pro's for way cheaper or for the same price. like the Sony WF-1000XM3's sound way better and have better ANC, but are larger. the Airpods "Pro" arent exactly as pro as you might think.
Not hating, but being sponsored is getting on your way to being real with the products!

It's only considered bias when they choose a worse product over a better one. Airpod Pro is simply one of the worst sounding most overpriced earbuds on the market. I wish this wasn't sponsored content but I sure if you choose to look around many, many people would confirm that L2P are far better than AirPod Pro (so many earbuds are) except for the Active Noise Cancelling and H1 chip (if your an apple phone user).

I came here thinking "oh yes, now I can finally find out if they are good or not!" But no, it's a sponsorship. No luck.
They are very good, and the customer service is phenomenal. The only real negative is they are really bad for phone calls. Lots of popping noises and sound shifting. Music quality is fantastic though. Really clear treble, mids and the bass has a big kick. The app also has a ton of presets based on the type of music you're listening to and the battery is great! But you don't always get a full 8 hours as the right bud often dies a bit quicker than the left.
I’d check out Flossy Carter’s review of them. Convinced me to take the dive.

I have owned them since launch. Sound quality is incredible, well balanced, not bass heavy. Phone calls are not the best, most people say I sound like I'm in a tunnel. Customer service is excellent, had an issue with the charging case, contacted them, they paid return shipping, and I had a new set within 7 days of shipping them back. Highly recommended!

The amount of sponsorships that Zack probably gets must be high compared to the ones that he actually does. The noise cancellation on the AirPods is insane, I was honestly blown away. Not saying they ain’t overpriced, but they are pretty good.

How? He compliments the Airpods' sound quality at several points in the video. Zack has always been a hardware guy and loved the internals of the Anker headphones, is that so hard to understand?

He goes in depth about the "Ear ID" thing which isn't that impressive (something Apple could do with a software update easily) and doesn't really talk much about all the noise cancellation technology in the Air Pods with the dual microphones and how that all works - he didn't mention that it would help produce a better sound just passed it off.
I got to say this was really interesting teardown. Would love to see more electronics (besides smartphones) taken apart. Cheers!

I think that is because they take a lot of power to... power themselves. It's normal. I've got myself some higher end in-ears and they have the same problem. You can notice them hissing only when you use an app that has sound and after you close it for a while, then they turn off
They've made a revised version that greatly reduces the hiss. And they're working on an other revision that will completely remove the hiss. Not an excuse for the problem but at least they're fixing it and their warranty is great and gives free replacements.

I have these headphones. The hiss issue only happens when there is no audio playing and only for a couple of seconds. It's definitely noticable but not horrible. The sound that comes out of these things definitely are top notch though. The ear ID thing is pretty much a gimmick too, unless you really can't hear high pitched tones due to hearing loss.

So I had the Liberty Pro for about a week and returned them. Sound was amazing, a lot of bass and I LOVE Bluetooth 5, insane range. But the headphones were just too bulky. The stood out to much for my liking , and one of the buds was always uncomfortable in my ear

I washed my ear buds case and all .. The buds worked fine after words I could charge them . But the case battery wouldn't charge , after watching the video I opened up the case cleaned all the contact points and it all works again !! Thank you for this video!!!!

Looking at the insides makes one think that they’re overpricing these things
A single Knowles balanced armature costs about $15, customizing those for manufacturing just for one set of earbuds probably doubles that. Add that to a wireless charging case, the best battery life available currently in an earbud and a dynamic driver for bass and the price starts looking more reasonable. Add the fact that Anker is constantly dropping prices for sales and the L2P is about $100 now and if you bought it a few weeks ago they offered a $40 credit towards other Anker gear for a simple review. Plain an simple, at $100 these earbuds are better than almost everything in the market until the Qualcomm 5100 SoC starts becoming mainstream in 2020
5:04 $150 is not half of $250 and the Liberty 2 Pros weren’t designed by audio engineers, they are simply endorsed by them.

These earbuds have a custom knowles armature, someone had to decide where the cut off between the bass of the dynamic driver and the mids and highs of the balanced armature meet and overlap. I guarantee a whole team of audio engineers was involved in this design and every design that isn't a Chinese clone made in the factory the original was created in, whether it be Apple, Sony, Jabra or any of a dozen actual audio companies.

I can’t believe they don’t advertise being made by Anker. They have the best phone chargers and other accessories.
They want their audio products to have their own product line. Anker is well known for charging and the wireless charging as well as quick charging for the earbuds is awesome but the sound quality is the real major reason to buy them and associating with Anker could muddle the waters. I am quite surprised they managed to make make an earbud that is better than the top end Sony model with almost 3 times the play time with another 24 hours charge in the case.
If I wanted to watch ads I would have just gone back to cable TV smh

I really enjoy zach’s videos, idc that a lot of them are sponsored. However in most vids, the sponsor has nothing to do with the content of the video (lastpass, Dbrand etc). I ABSOLUTELY HATE videos like this one, where the sponsor literally pays and controls the content. Smh 🤦♂️
