But I get a good amount of satisfaction seeing your videos and know knowing what's inside a device that makes us to spend a pretty significant amount of our life with it.
The best part of your videos is the satisfaction giving commentary that makes as if that any device you rig has a very simple mechanism
I got my F2 pro secondhand for 70 bucks, amazing the kind of value you can get secondhand these days.
Currently using it as a poorman's switch next to using it as a phone, the 'second space' feature is amazing for that. Got my android tv launcher with my emulators and everything on one finger and my main phone space on my thumbs lol
This can run Nintendo switch games as well. The emulator is pretty shady - you need to buy a specific switch style controller add-on to use it - but it works pretty good on f2 pro.
The one that sold you this phone for 70 has to be dumb AF, I bought an 8/256 version for 200EUR and this was already a crazy good deal where I live cuzz this used phone sells for 400+ EUR lol (I even saw two still packed on Ebay, one was for 750EUR and the other was for a stupid 950EUR)

3 years later: Battery still going strong 6.30/7-ish hours screen time. Not as good as new phones these days but it's still great for aging phone. Pop-up front camera is the best (for people like me, who only uses front camera for calls). Sadly they doesn't make phones with front pop-up cameras anymore... If nothing happens to the phone till under display cameras (with decent quality) becomes a thing in a year or two then gonna keep it till then. 128/6gb model.

Since I am a Mechanical Design Engineer, the spring in the front camera mechanism is part of what is called "Fail Safe Design". A moving front camera mechanism design follows one of two modes of failure: either Fail Open; or Fail Close. Since nobody wants his camera to stop functioning should a malfunction takes place in conjunction to the front camera mechanism, a spring is added to the mechanism so the failure follows a "Fail Open" mode.
The spring also keeps the front camera open even if you applied force to close it during normal operation with no malfunctioning taking place, and thus only the stepper motor can retract the front camera back into its grove when not in use. 😉

Hard to notice but the design of the pop-up camera ribbon has changed drastically. This will make the pop-up mechanism last for a very long time compared to a OP7 pro or K20Pro. The new ribbon and stepper motor are a win win 👍!!

mine wont turn on, it suddenly shutdown while I was using it. When I charge it up it just show red LED and blink twice.
