- Proof my setup worked. Also showoff the new app and currently available settings. This is pre-release so I don't expect to have all the features "I paid for". I expect another update before mid March when loads of customers will get their mowers.

I made a new video showing the mower can drive without the reference station! ruclips.net/video/nYPdSbfNEuA/видео.htmlsi=U5yp-hNumC7YFoA-
Thanks for doing this video
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, I just pre-ordered a Luba 2 3000H over the weekend to replace my Automower 315X, so now I am doing my research for setup.
Thanks, I hope it helps! My yard is too big for any robot mower that uses a random mowing pattern
Great video! As regard to schedule cutting, how would you set the cutting schedule if you want, like, 2 or 3 times of cutting job per week? I have a 2000 sqm yard, what happens if I set mowing time start as 23:00 every Friday and 0:00 every Saturday? That's obviously no way to finish a whole round for it within an hour😏
I think it'll cancel the first job and start the second job.
You moved your Luba 1 RTK to your attick? I read that suggestion, and hope to do the same when i purchase one.
Thanks for the video, and I look forward to more.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. Since Luba has an onboard camera, can one use luba to monitor their property?
Yes, you can...There is great love here for you...
That feature is not released yet, I think the "Yuka" was advertised with Patrol mode, but the Luba 2 was never advertised with Patrol mode as far as I can remember. But both are made by mimotion, presumably they would add that as a software update eventually. But if that's the primary feature you want, or even a must-have you may want to wait until the future is actually released. I'm a big believer in not buying products based on promises.
Now it is supported. Please upgrade the firmware and the App
A review of the pros and cons would be great if you can?
only con for luba1 is losing signal between houses. like you and neighbors house. and running battery dead tring to recover, but never recovering. so you can weedeat push mow or look like a fool driving luba back and forth. ive givin them many suggestions to fine tune there satellites but they act like they didnt even make the software. and considering open source projects was the first to do rtk gps mowing. so they probably stole it and cant work on it. and it seems no body with luba2 has shown wither its any better. im glad he showed it go around a person because that would be a benefit. although it proved to not be much better than luba1.
but great at mowing everything else
@@joecook4451 a video is uploading now where I unplugged the rtk
If there's enough interest, I'll review the mower once it's been updated to post-release firmware, hopefully with all the features shown on the site. Right now it's pre-release software, incomplete.
@@HezekiahDomowski that would be cool. show if it just goes around you or if it stops and does wide turn. you showed it working without gps/rtk which was a big improvement. i guess thats why they are ignoring to fix luba 1 float timing...
Queston: You mentioned you used to own a Luba 1000. How did that workout? Did you have any breakdowns, etc. Problems? Nice video. Thank You....
I had a Luba 1, 5000 (Version 1, size 5000)
I got it on a black Friday deal and returned it in January when they announced Luba 2 (I was not expecting). I put it on a schedule and had it run a lot to test it out, everything worked great. it would sit for 5 mins at a time up against the house when it lost a satellite connection. But no breakdowns or anything that concerned me about longevity. I really need to get 10 years out of this machine to be happy to buy again. I'll feel 'okay' if I get 5 years, but would consider making my yard smoother so another brand could mow it without 4 wheel drive, if I feel like another brand could make it 10 years.
Thank you for the information. The reason I ask is, years ago I purchased a robot vacuum. I thought the same thing. If I could get five years plus out of the vacuum, I would be happy.
They are not cheap. It had a two-year warranty. I lost count of how many times it broke down within the two years. It kept breaking down and the parts and service was horrible.
Please keep us posted. I really like your videos. Keep up the good work. Very nice.
@@HurleyDeanSPThanks for the kind words, I will keep everyone posted if I have any breakdowns. I'm really hoping they offer battery kits in the future. i think they are far more likely to offer parts to DIYrs than a brand in the USA with dealerships.
@@HezekiahDomowski Thank you. That would be a big help.
how do I program 2 RTKs I MIGHT need some help thank you for all your info
It's really simple. You use the one RTK that came with the one Luba. And you use the other RTK that came with the other Luba.
why do you have the additional cover over the stop button? That was a help for the first Luba 1
I don't like that water can sit between the stop button and the white plastic housing. I put the cover on my last video.
if i use two rks can i use same account and same email with different paswords ? and thanks for return info
No. And it makes no sense to want that. Keep it simple. I promise, you will have enough to fiddle with without trying to add your own complexity.
i have luba 1 i want to add a luba 2 how do i program 2 rtks i want to run both at same time anyone know thanks and great video ...
The Luba 1 RTK uses a different protocol than the Luba 2 RTK. You'll need to use both RTKs
How has it been running?
We got freezing temperatures, then my wife had a baby, and then we had a week of rain. So I'm just getting it back out and running. I did have one day where it stopped with no errors and I had to send it back to the base station and then tell it to resume the job, then it paused again and I had to repeat three times. I'm running the same job today so I'll see if it does the same. There's a major update that is to come any day now, so how it acts after that update will be much more important.
@@HezekiahDomowskithanks for the response. I keep reading that the camera module isn't even activated yet.
@@unfilteredunionshow me too. But it is ruclips.net/video/nYPdSbfNEuA/видео.htmlsi=U5yp-hNumC7YFoA-
You will have to use it a bit and give us your full review, really want to purchase one but would like to see some real world reviews. Thanks for your post
I would expect by the end of March reviews will start to pop up. Long term reviews, you'd need to wait until the end of summer I would think.
I purchased Luba 3000H (4 inches) My App cutting is only going to 70mm and not 101mm. Is anyone else having this problem???
I changed mine to imperial units, but I only get 3.9 inches not 4 even
@@HezekiahDomowski Okay let me change it too Imperial and see what happens... Thanks.
@@HezekiahDomowski When I change over to Imperial Unit, that was only for speed 3.9 and not the height of the cut.
@@victorraye57 what cutting height does it give you? And are you on apple or android?
I'm on Android.
@@HezekiahDomowski I'm on Android... On App its showing 70mm max height that is 2.75. Luba 3000H should have a height of 101mm that is 4.00 inches.
What is that? a lawn mower?
Yup, it sure is.
You have very little grass to cut .
Yes, this video was in February. It was mostly weeds that needed to be cut.
Buyer beware, these things do not work as advertised and there is no customer service to help sort things out.
true. an expensive misleading product. i bought one, and it is so annoying. i want to be part of a class action if ever one arises.
@@jebbersbraun7476 you make me nervous. so do not buy this?
They have live chat 24/7. I don't need it. They are delightfully vague in their criticisms. I don't take vagueness seriously. They can make their own videos showing what is wrong with there's. Most complaints are because of user error. If oyu need your hand held for every little problem, then choose a brand that will let you go through a dealership in your local area. That might be Luba, it might not be. I don't care - I'm not affiliated with any robot mower company.
@@HezekiahDomowski its user error, because its too complicated. and it is that, that they are vague on. and, their programming is crap.
