I have never used such a poorly written app with spelling errors for such an expensive appliance, I am now constantly watching RUclips videos on Luba for every problem that appears.
Yeah, it's disappointing. I guess it'll be another couple of months I think for them to get things decent, and then the whole cutting season to get things smooth.
I confirmed making this channel did not help me start a task as I thought in the video. When positioning is float, it says I'm not in the task area still, abs won't let me select any area to mow.
Does anyone know how to adjust cutting height when using “manual mowing”? My experience today was manual mowing inside of a task area. In manual mowing today it seemed the cutting height was the same cutting height as the most recent robot mowing of the task area. Even in mid June 2024 the app is still buggy as hell with weird quirks that I’ve simply learned to work around.
@@RobotMowerTricks When I’m using “manual mowing” mode there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to select mowing height. Manual mowing is either “on” or “off”. I can’t select height of cut.
@@RobotMowerTricks I found the height adjustment for manual mowing! Upper right when you’re on the manual mowing screen. You touch the button and it brings up sliders for cutting height and maximum ground speed while manual mowing.
Does the charging station need to see the sky, or have direct line of sight to the RTK? I've made channels 20 times and Mammotion keeps telling me that I need to make a channel.
Don't worry about the rtk-Luba connection, it always works. You can check your connections page to be sure. What matters, on the connection page, it needs to say "fix" to start a task. If it says float or single, it will not start. Oftentimes it says it's out of the task area when the real issue is "float" vs "fix". You'll know if a channel is necessary if you can't get Luba to return to the charger. Also, if you have a good coviewing count (25 or more on both l1&l2) while Luba is charging then it can't hurt to reset the charging location. Different times a day you'll have a better sat count on the charger.
@@RobotMowerTricks Thanks for the help. I can't mow or charge without being next to the mower which defeats the purpose. My charging station is bolted to the pavement. When I manually charge, the phone screen says, "Out of task area." When I choose "Relocate charging station," a popup says, "Please use this feature when positioning is fine" and I'm dead in the water. When I click mow/tasks, it says, "The robot cannot start work outside the task area. Please move to the task area first." Every area says "unable to reach." I have created a new channel from various task areas to the charging station at least 20 times and it keeps telling me there isn't one. The channels created between task areas have remained just fine and it doesn't lose them. My charging station is around the front corner of the detached garage. The RTK is on the house roof. Does it need line of sight? Could this be the issue? Where do I get to "connections page" and to "coviewing count?"
I’d like the ability to create multiple channels. 1 channel per task area. I’m mowing the full 2.5 acres with my Luba 2. Today I created and then mowed a task area way far from my RTK and charging station, 714 feet. The mowing of 714 feet away performed flawlessly. I should say, however, that my house sits atop a plateau, with my RTK and charging station in the front of my house, a location with an unobstructed view of the southern sky. I don’t know how long distance mowing performance would be if my RTK was at the same elevation as that which my mower is operating.
Next video, I test again the mower with no GPS (better test this time) ruclips.net/video/2z1elCsIly4/видео.html
