The examiner was really friendly and supported in the conversation. You just have to speak. Speak original, like including real life instances as it makes it very easy. It doesnt matter much what are you speaking but make sure you are speaking right. And one more thing that i came across was, that your opinion really helps you gain more marks. Always give your strong opinions. Never be neutral in situations or opinions. And dont stop speaking until the examiner asks you. Try speaking calmly and add idioms and be natural and always have a smile on the face.

How they love dramatizing and creating unnecessary hype around this exam is something bewildering ! Instead of "to the point ,crisp answers" he wants you to use hands and gestures to get good scores!😄 They encourage you to talk adding inessentials in your answer, just to make it long and you get marks for that ! Sad to see these criteria for getting better grades! Can't they have some better way to test English speaking capabilities ? Probably these videos are made intentionally to scare students for commercial reasons- just to attract more students to their training classes ! ☺I think staying normal and calm will pay ! So RELAX EVERYONE
Why not? A lot of people like to adopt an American or UK accent and there is nothing wrong with that. It is exactly this kind of attention to pronunciation and annunciation that helps him to get high marks.

The motto should be keeping the accent neutral and focusing on fluency, grammar and vocab. Trying too hard to imitate other accent is a bad idea and looks nothing less than making a mockery of your speaking skills
I have booked the test, I'm really nervous and after watching this video I'm motivated. But I have a doubt. When I booked the IELTS, in the mail it says the interview is 20min long but in this video it's about 10 mins so how's that possible?

We use it in speech all the time. Keep in mind that natural speech is often grammatically incorrect, but natural. This is perhaps the most challenging part of learning a foreign language.

I think IELTS Speaking is very subjective. It's not standardized completely and different test takers can score you differently.
You are right, but the subjectivity is no more than half a band score 95% of the time. So it is reliable.

"...discuss about our research" is incorrect grammar. You cannot use "about" after "discuss". That's patently incorrect.
We use it in speech all the time. Keep in mind that natural speech is often grammatically incorrect, but natural. This is perhaps the most challenging part of learning a foreign language.
