    I got band 8 in IELTS and 8 in speaking. The only way it was possible was becuz i was calm and confident. Some tips:
    1.Breath before u speak, wish the examiner a good morning or anything that suits the time.
    2. Be confident. Think before u speak.
    3.Use very less but accurate vocabulary. I used 3..4 high level words.
    4. Listen to atleast 8 practice interviews and figure out the types of questions they ask you.
    5. Don't stop when u speak.
    6. Take deep breaths before u speak. And they give u enough time to set in and make urself comfortable.
    7. I prepared only 6 hours for speaking that too by watching 7..8 interviews although i previously had experience with English due to my business meetings.
    8. Don't prepare anything on the day of speaking test, listen to English songs or watch English series all day, no one stoping u. It makes ur brian ready for fluency.

Unlike many websites out there, we fill this section with real user testimonials and real pictures of those users. Because of your awesome score and feedback, we'd love to be able to use your first name/picture. If you could send us a picture of yourself (face, like the ones on the website), we would be greatly appreciative. Also, please include your nationality. If you are willing, please send this to admin@aehelp.com. This allows us to encourage other students to use our products and reach their goals and dreams. Good one. Just wanted to know what if we use different accent over the Indian accent, will it reduce our scores? As per knowledge, I have heard from many that native speakers do hate non-native speakers who try to copy their accent while communicating. And the non-native speaker (especially Indians) finds this cool. Your opinion on this would be helpful. Thank you.

    • @Aehelp
      @Aehelp  3 года назад +6

      As long as your pronunciation is comprehensible, you do not need to worry about this. However, it is always a good idea to work on EITHER a N. American or British accent as time and energy permits - don't worry about smug native English speakers.

      Non native speakers shouldnt be penalized for taking a bit of time after saying a sentence coz Native speakers do that too. Dont believe me? Just walk upto a Native English Speaker and tell him or her to speak on a Topic for 2 mins and you would find out how much fillers they end up using and how much time they take out of those 2 mins thinking to frame sentences.
      The entire, "speak on a Topic for 2 mins" way of gauging how well someone can communicate in English, is flawed. No one in Real Life tells someone to speak on a Topic for 2 mins while having a conversation.
      The best way to gauge how well someone can speak is by having conversation based test.

    She has made a ton of grammatical errors, how did she land a score of 8.0? Just fluency isn't enough, we are also scored on grammar.

    • @Aehelp
      @Aehelp  3 года назад

      Because the mark is about more than just grammar. Even native English speakers make many grammatical mistakes in spoken English.
