In IELTS speaking test,what do they specifically test the confidence or vocabulary
She talked in a way that was easy to understand, didn't use too many fancy words, and sounded totally relaxed and normal.

I've watched a lot of videos related to IELTS test and for the first I'm really inspired by a candidate, she spoke very well and as an English Learner I honestly think that I want to sound like her , I want to have the same fluency, the same calm and being able to use a lot of advance vocabulary just like she did , the level she has is definitely the level that i want to reach

Classes helped me with the grammer and movies improved my listening and speaking skills. I also had some foreign friends to talk to and practice.

@@alima.mederkul Hello, sure. In task one there were some pie charts and in task two I was supposed to talk about sport facilities should be for all people or only top athletes. The speaking experience was pleasant, I had barely any stress and that was why I managed a good score, I was asked questions about being a student and video games and famous people in first part, in second part I had to describe an important journey in which there was a delay and the last part was mainly about transportation.

I came across this video about 3 days before my speaking exam yesterday. It gave speaking a whole new dimension for me. It looked easy and something I could easily do. Of all videos this gave me the confidence to know the speaking is not all necessarily big words and idiomatic expressions but also the ease with which you converse with the examiner. I just wanted to say thank you for your speaking videos-they really made a difference in my IELTS prep. Before watching them, I thought I had to use fancy words and idioms to do well. But your videos showed me a different approach. I stayed relaxed and didn't stress about using big words. I ended up with a 7 in speaking, although I was hoping for a 7.5. I would like to mention one thing, my exam was on 9 march and honestly that day whole exam pattern felt very tough. However, I got a band score of 7 on my first try, which I'm pretty happy about. Your videos were a big part of my success.

I had my IELTS speaking test 2 weeks ago. I keep forgetting to leave a comment when I saw my result. I listened to your advice on the speaking test especially the part where you advised that test takers should speak naturally and I got a band 8.0 in speaking. I never attended any IELTS classes or read any book prior to the test. I only watched this video the morning of my test.

What I’ve noticed from all your videos with band 8 or 9 students is that,
You really do not have to be 100 percent fluent or be perfect,
All you need is to be natural with your vocabulary and try to be confident and be as relaxed as possible.

Hello, Chris! I would like to thank you for all of your content. I had my IELTS exam last week and my result is 7.5 The thing is, i didn’t really practice writing, reading or speaking. My insecurities made me fear to see if i was doing well or not it mock tests, so i avoided the full quality practice and was just listening to your videos and doing a lot of little tasks instead. I was surely risking my band by not embracing my fear. But now I gained a score that is satisfying to the whole global educational system despite all of my escapism and all thanks to your advice. I guess I could even have an 8.0 or 8.5 if I studied harder.

Thank you for sharing this Speaking quite easy but but it is very difficult to speak it in front of a stranger especially examiner😢.
The more prepared you are the less stressed you’ll be.
Start off practicing by yourself, then someone you fully trust, then someone you know well, then do it with a stranger.
I just finished my speaking exam here in South Africa, I’ll update you all on how I did.
They asked if I work or study, what I do in my leisure time what I don’t like doing at night
To describe a quiet place I like to go
Do cities have places designed for just quiet time
And a lot more hope I did well
In my opinion, This rates the test as band 6 or 7 , not 9.
She overuses " I feel like, some , ...ect and said prefer more rather than prefer to ....ect
But plz spectate her confidence..u know she is vey confident here ..these basic repetition that u have mentioned be easily ignored
