The speaking experience was pleasant, I had barely any stress and that was why I managed a good score, I was asked questions about being a student and video games and famous people in first part, in second part I had to describe an important journey in which there was a delay and the last part was mainly about transportation.

But your videos showed me a different approach. I stayed relaxed and didn't stress about using big words. I ended up with a 7 in speaking, although I was hoping for a 7.5. I had my IELTS speaking test 2 weeks ago. I keep forgetting to leave a comment when I saw my result. I listened to your advice on the speaking test especially the part where you advised that test takers should speak naturally and I got a band 8.0 in speaking. I never attended any IELTS classes or read any book prior to the test. I only watched this video the morning of my test.
😢 normally if i speak like this to my teacher he will only give me 6 in overall. Like I've watched so many videos with people scoring band 9 and i can tell that i speak with the same level like them. But i guess my teacher just want to lower my score by some means. Now feeling like he would do the same to writing so I'm confused
Two possibilities: 1. You think you’re much better than you really are. 2. Your teacher isn’t as good as you think they are. Most of the time, it’s both. If unsure, hire the best teacher possible who you’re sure has real examining experience.
She's very good, she just speaks slowly and with pauses but I think that's absolutely normal, I speak like that in my own language, imagine in another language. I think her pronunciation and vocabulary are very good, and her accent as well.
As far as your comment is concerned may be there is something wrong with the tutors or you, but beside this you also have to know most of the teachers give little bit low marks to encourage the learners to do more. The case is that if they mark the high marks then students may not care too much about his practice so. For example if some students is giving an answer of band 8 then the teachers may give him 7.5. However, if the students is saying 8.5 band answer and teachers give 6.5 then this is totally unfair.
Hello, Chris! I would like to thank you for all of your content. I had my IELTS exam last week and my result is 7.5 The thing is, i didn’t really practice writing, reading or speaking. My insecurities made me fear to see if i was doing well or not it mock tests, so i avoided the full quality practice and was just listening to your videos and doing a lot of little tasks instead. I was surely risking my band by not embracing my fear. But now I gained a score that is satisfying to the whole global educational system despite all of my escapism and all thanks to your advice. I guess I could even have an 8.0 or 8.5 if I studied harder.

I had my IELTS speaking test 2 weeks ago. I keep forgetting to leave a comment when I saw my result. I listened to your advice on the speaking test especially the part where you advised that test takers should speak naturally and I got a band 8.0 in speaking. I never attended any IELTS classes or read any book prior to the test. I only watched this video the morning of my test.

😢 normally if i speak like this to my teacher he will only give me 6 in overall. Like I've watched so many videos with people scoring band 9 and i can tell that i speak with the same level like them. But i guess my teacher just want to lower my score by some means. Now feeling like he would do the same to writing so I'm confused
Two possibilities:
1. You think you’re much better than you really are.
2. Your teacher isn’t as good as you think they are.
Most of the time, it’s both. If unsure, hire the best teacher possible who you’re sure has real examining experience.
Based on your speaking in your asmr videos, I believe that you are much more better than a band 6 so you should hire a higher skilled teacher I guess
I think you should change your teacher if you don't want to feel nervous about this
She's very good, she just speaks slowly and with pauses but I think that's absolutely normal, I speak like that in my own language, imagine in another language. I think her pronunciation and vocabulary are very good, and her accent as well.
As far as your comment is concerned may be there is something wrong with the tutors or you, but beside this you also have to know most of the teachers give little bit low marks to encourage the learners to do more. The case is that if they mark the high marks then students may not care too much about his practice so. For example if some students is giving an answer of band 8 then the teachers may give him 7.5. However, if the students is saying 8.5 band answer and teachers give 6.5 then this is totally unfair.
Hello, Chris! I would like to thank you for all of your content. I had my IELTS exam last week and my result is 7.5 The thing is, i didn’t really practice writing, reading or speaking. My insecurities made me fear to see if i was doing well or not it mock tests, so i avoided the full quality practice and was just listening to your videos and doing a lot of little tasks instead. I was surely risking my band by not embracing my fear. But now I gained a score that is satisfying to the whole global educational system despite all of my escapism and all thanks to your advice. I guess I could even have an 8.0 or 8.5 if I studied harder.

Actually your opinion is just an opinion, you do not qualify as IELTS examiner, more like you would have been one of those fake IELTS teachers in RUclips spreading misinformation and telling people they should speak like they are selling a business idea.

I think it depends on how natural you speak. In my opinion even native speakers use a lot of "like".
