    It's just what I need. My Mazda 3 GT has been places it shouldn't and I just want a little more clearance for dirt roads and logging roads. I want to keep the Mazda style quality and reliability with just a little more capability. Im gonna get one for sure Love the look of that car

    You guys missed a good trail in Utah. Visit Shafer Trail in Canyonlands NP.

    Question: I also have a 2024 Meridian with Apex package and look to go camping on it. The one thing I worry about is roof rack/platform weight limits. Every review I’ve read states a max weight of 165lbs but your setup suggests otherwise. Is there a different weight limit on yours? What’s the static and dynamic weight? Thanks!

    • @teamatz2016
      @teamatz2016  6 месяцев назад

      Great question Nestor. Here is what I got directly from Mazda:
      Our platform dynamic capacity: 119 lbs
      Yakima 6.5’ awning: 28.3 lbs
      Yakima 3 person tent: 114.6 lbs
      Yakima 2 person tent: 101.4 lbs.
      Static capacity is 450 lbs.

      I had this at max dynamic load and it never even budged or made a sound of stress.

    How'd you get the 360 degree camera in the Meridian? Did the dealer offer that as an option?

    • @teamatz2016
      @teamatz2016  5 месяцев назад +4

      So this build was a premium plus Turbo CX-50 which they added the Meridian hood sticker and rims. Mazda is supposed to release this full premium version on the Meridian soon.

    Hey, on your part 1 video, you showed a Cam View button option. I recently bought a 2024 Meridian CX50 (same color as yours) and it doesn’t have that button… did you ask for that addition?

    • @teamatz2016
      @teamatz2016  6 месяцев назад +2

      Hi. Yes this was a special build of every option of a premium plus CX-50 with the Meridian rims, tires, and logo. Mazda is supposed to come out with this top trim option for Meridian soon.

    • @mrpenshi
      @mrpenshi 5 месяцев назад

      @@teamatz2016how did you manage that special build? I asked the dealership to build my meridian closer to the premium plus but they said it was not doable

    • @bonilla1240
      @bonilla1240 4 месяца назад +1

      @mrpenshi I believe you buy the premium plus, and just add the meridian extras (tires, rims, stickers). That's why his "meridian" has the normal headlights. It's actually a premium plus with meridian extras.

      You should NOT be driving thru puddles fast like that. You’re dang lucky you didn’t suck water into the air intake… or you’d be looking at engine replacement. Drive thru puddles SLOWLY!
