      HI, I'm looking for a lift kit for a CX30. Do you have it available too? , I couldn't find it on your website. Is it the same?

    Have this kit installed on my car currently have no problems noise or issues had it aligned and drives perfectly👌 been off roading in north and south Carolina much better ground clearance. Just drove up to NY for the holidays with ZERO problems

      Did you install it yourself or did you have a shop do it, and if the shop did it how long does it take? I had another question about alignment but I’m guessing you had that done.

      @@jeremyjohnson6438 the HRG at least at the time I bought the kit did not provide an option for spring replacement your reusing all the factory parts but it still drives fine loaded.i was looking at the flat out suspension gr kit as that replaced all parts I figure I'll get that around 50 k currently have 24 k

    Thanks for taking the time to record and share this. It seems like the camera you recorded the 'after' footage with has a fish eye effect going on. IMO it makes it a little more difficult to gauge the look of the vehicle/changes. I'd humbly recommend/request also including a flat shot from the side profile without any sort of effect. Anyway thanks again. If you guys were in my area I'd come to you for this job.

    Cool kit for my Mazda CX 5 I'm from Quebec Canada and in the winter , The only problem I have with Mazda it's the front bumper made of plastic. I have to weld the bottom plastic bumper a couples of times and also the under cover panel. I hope Mazda or third party company can make a real off road bumper ans steal under cover panel for serious off road

    What were the torque specs you used to tighten everything back down at the end there?

    • @hrg_tv
      @hrg_tv  Год назад +3

      Get the bolts tight. Torque specs are far less critical on large suspension bolts than a precise rotating assembly such as engine internals. If you really want to know the torque specs you can access it through Alldata.

      Manufacturers rarely approve of lifts, and they will almost always void warranty. Lifts change the ride dynamics of a vehicie along with the sensors.

    • @94Swick
      @94Swick Год назад +1

      It "could" void your warranty. But Mazda would have the burden of proof. They'd have to show that the lift kit caused failure in whatever component you're trying to have replaced

    • @marcoVGpolo
      @marcoVGpolo Год назад

      @@94Swick You're technically right but a lot of people misunderstand the situation when it comes to "prove it" stuff. First off any dealership can just straight up say no. It's their right to be able to deny this stuff which is why people say "have it installed at the dealership". The dealership is far less likely to say no if they were the ones who installed it implying that someone internal higher up on the chain approved the mod and the problems that can arise. Second, if they do say no you are then escalating to the manufacturer and thats where you end up having to do the whole "prove my mod had nothing to do with the failure. The manufacturer is far more strict and they don't have to "show" all they have to do is point out how the lift kit relates to your warranty issue. Seat leather ripped? No issue. Transmission shudder? Maybe the changed axle angle of the lift is consistantly putting more torque at an angle it wasn't designed to. Warranty denied. At that point your option is the legal route with engineering background to prove the mod had nothing to do with the problem (see: very very difficult and expensive). If the manufacturer does agree with you that a warranty issue has nothing to do with the mod, they then instruct the dealership to perform the work needed to correct the issue.
      Things like suspension alterations make warranty denial for any drivetrain issue so incredibly easy. People who fight it almost never ever win, I actually don't think i've ever seen a denial of service reversed.

    Are you certain that a 265 60 17 would not work with OR without the kit? the only difference really is 0.8 inch total width increase. the total height is the exact same. I am thinking this would come out more even with the fenders and just look more like it should rather than look like tire are tucked into the body. What you guys think?
