Have this kit installed on my car currently have no problems noise or issues had it aligned and drives perfectly👌 been off roading in north and south Carolina much better ground clearance. Just drove up to NY for the holidays with ZERO problems
Did you install it yourself or did you have a shop do it, and if the shop did it how long does it take? I had another question about alignment but I’m guessing you had that done.
@@kens8903 @ken S installed it myself front super easy the back monster pain if your doing it in your driveway . Lift would've made it so easy ,but it is possible buy a prybar I big one . had the alignment done and it is still in factory specifications actually

Thanks for taking the time to record and share this. It seems like the camera you recorded the 'after' footage with has a fish eye effect going on. IMO it makes it a little more difficult to gauge the look of the vehicle/changes. I'd humbly recommend/request also including a flat shot from the side profile without any sort of effect. Anyway thanks again. If you guys were in my area I'd come to you for this job.
Cool kit for my Mazda CX 5 I'm from Quebec Canada and in the winter , The only problem I have with Mazda it's the front bumper made of plastic. I have to weld the bottom plastic bumper a couples of times and also the under cover panel. I hope Mazda or third party company can make a real off road bumper ans steal under cover panel for serious off road
Great Video! I'm interested in the kit for my 2016 Mazda CX-9. Any plans to do a video on it? I haven't seen anything on RUclips by anyone else showing the CX-9 with a lift. Thank you!
Get the bolts tight. Torque specs are far less critical on large suspension bolts than a precise rotating assembly such as engine internals. If you really want to know the torque specs you can access it through Alldata.
It "could" void your warranty. But Mazda would have the burden of proof. They'd have to show that the lift kit caused failure in whatever component you're trying to have replaced
@@94Swick You're technically right but a lot of people misunderstand the situation when it comes to "prove it" stuff. First off any dealership can just straight up say no. It's their right to be able to deny this stuff which is why people say "have it installed at the dealership". The dealership is far less likely to say no if they were the ones who installed it implying that someone internal higher up on the chain approved the mod and the problems that can arise. Second, if they do say no you are then escalating to the manufacturer and thats where you end up having to do the whole "prove my mod had nothing to do with the failure. The manufacturer is far more strict and they don't have to "show" all they have to do is point out how the lift kit relates to your warranty issue. Seat leather ripped? No issue. Transmission shudder? Maybe the changed axle angle of the lift is consistantly putting more torque at an angle it wasn't designed to. Warranty denied. At that point your option is the legal route with engineering background to prove the mod had nothing to do with the problem (see: very very difficult and expensive). If the manufacturer does agree with you that a warranty issue has nothing to do with the mod, they then instruct the dealership to perform the work needed to correct the issue. Things like suspension alterations make warranty denial for any drivetrain issue so incredibly easy. People who fight it almost never ever win, I actually don't think i've ever seen a denial of service reversed.
Are you certain that a 265 60 17 would not work with OR without the kit? the only difference really is 0.8 inch total width increase. the total height is the exact same. I am thinking this would come out more even with the fenders and just look more like it should rather than look like tire are tucked into the body. What you guys think?
This is just a spacer kit…. No suspension upgrade whatsoever other than an increase in ground clearance. The Meridean Edition should come with this to add some sort of value/justification to the price tag and model name.

Did you go with comfort springs for the rear? It may be smart to select overload if your doing a lot of camping or heavy loading.

I KNEW it could be done. This thing has THE BEST Interior for its price but the 20s with NO lift is L A M E lol.
I saw someone use your lift kit on their cx-30 and now I'm seriously considering it....

this was great , thank you !
Non turbo premium and premium plus have 20" wheels too. But specs are same as turbo.
too bad about the fish eye camera. Would have liked to see what it actually looks like.
Did the 245 / 65 /17 rub without the lift? Or did it need the lift To not rub?

What were the torque specs you used to tighten everything back down at the end there?

will void the warranty?
Do you make anything for a 2022 CX-90? I have a Carbon Edition and trying to modify it
Can I do this without an impact wrench and instead an impact drill?
YES I want one...
Does this void the warranty? I have to think it would.
Have it installed at the dealership. Call us for a participating Mazda dealer near you.
Manufacturers rarely approve of lifts, and they will almost always void warranty. Lifts change the ride dynamics of a vehicie along with the sensors.

Jeep voids the warranty after lift, probably mazda also will
