Does the lift void the suspension warranty or anything like that?
@@jacobshirley7155 If the dealer does it than no but if you did it they may give you a hard time. I would first talk to your local dealer for more details
@@teamatz2016 what I REALLY would like to put in is some hydraulic bump stops and skid plates
@@jacobshirley7155 check out these guys lpaventure.com/collections/mazda-cx-50-2023
I thought the roof rack could only support a couple hundred pounds?
@@PanditaP That's the Dynamic weight capacity. Static weight specs are much higher and around 500lbs
36 minutes video.. you can tell this guy is proud and loves this car to want to drone on about every detail on the car. I'm going to listen / watch it while doing dishes.
We got the same one, polymetal grey (that I call blue)!
6 meses despues y estamos enamorados de la cx5 con mi esposa, a veces nos quedamos mirando 😍 jajaj
i bought just the prefered package but i love it, i want to get a tent for mine
Great video overall. Love the content and your personality bro much respect.! Also subscribed
what do you think about the new CX50 in hybrid trim? I was thinking about one in base form, and add 17 inch sparco all terrain wheels/tires on it, start building an adventure vehicle with it. But unsure about its abilities due to hybrid, and that the AWD is different.
CVT transmission trash for offroad
What size lift are you running? Did you go with 337 Ext’s for the front or did you have to go with a different length? Do you do any pre-running, high speed trails, or jumps? I just got a Canyon and I’m looking to make it into a daily driver pre-runner. Your trucks looks amazing! Thanks!
It's just what I need. My Mazda 3 GT has been places it shouldn't and I just want a little more clearance for dirt roads and logging roads. I want to keep the Mazda style quality and reliability with just a little more capability. Im gonna get one for sure Love the look of that car
I will never ever take my cx50 to this type of terrain.
@@petteremmartz but you know you could if want 😆
You are the only one who is showing actually putting the CX50 through its paces... Hopefully you keep making more videos
How were you able to use the roof tent if their cross bars say 165 pounds max load?
@@OlehKrytskyi Are you sure your not confusing dynamic VS static weight limit?
@@teamatz2016 There was no clarification for the type of limit in the manual and no other weight limits on it :(
The kitchen(?) box with the AUXBEAM sticker- what brand is that?
Just a universal heavy duty storage bin
why was car fuming from the front ?
Water got on the radiator and engine compartment. We were going through some deep puddels
Ohh, Thank you for sharing ❤️!
You should NOT be driving thru puddles fast like that. You’re dang lucky you didn’t suck water into the air intake… or you’d be looking at engine replacement. Drive thru puddles SLOWLY!
Dude I want the CX50 so bad.. that upgrade looks sweet!!!
What size grapplers are those?
255 55 18
Picking up my Meridian tomorrow!
plastic splash guard got ripped off gonna cost a fortune to replace
One plastic clip
How is the mpg? Before and after?
23 before and 22 After
So the meridian does come with the heads up display? I kept hearing it doesnt
As a standard no it doesn't. Again this was a premium plus converted to a Meridian
@teamatz2016 Ahhh I must have missed that part. I'm looking at the Turbo Premium which to my knowledge also has the hud.
Really nice job on this video Guys and Gals!
Random question, what's your mpg?
With Lift and bigger tires and fully loaded with what you see here I was still averaging 22MPG using 91
I’ve had mine for an about 7 months now and love it. Going to have to look into that lift kit for sure!
How'd you get the 360 degree camera in the Meridian? Did the dealer offer that as an option?
So this build was a premium plus Turbo CX-50 which they added the Meridian hood sticker and rims. Mazda is supposed to release this full premium version on the Meridian soon.
good to see Russel Peters loving the CX50!
Question: I also have a 2024 Meridian with Apex package and look to go camping on it. The one thing I worry about is roof rack/platform weight limits. Every review I’ve read states a max weight of 165lbs but your setup suggests otherwise. Is there a different weight limit on yours? What’s the static and dynamic weight? Thanks!
Great question Nestor. Here is what I got directly from Mazda: Our platform dynamic capacity: 119 lbs Yakima 6.5’ awning: 28.3 lbs Yakima 3 person tent: 114.6 lbs Yakima 2 person tent: 101.4 lbs. Static capacity is 450 lbs.
I had this at max dynamic load and it never even budged or made a sound of stress.
Great track to play with the video and the Mazda
Fyi you can get a front skid plate for under $400 to add protection for the under carriage too!
Where can we find it?
@@bonilla1240 Agree'd also would like it for our car
I'm buying a CX-50 this month! Cant wait.
nice flat trail
Hey, on your part 1 video, you showed a Cam View button option. I recently bought a 2024 Meridian CX50 (same color as yours) and it doesn’t have that button… did you ask for that addition?
Hi. Yes this was a special build of every option of a premium plus CX-50 with the Meridian rims, tires, and logo. Mazda is supposed to come out with this top trim option for Meridian soon.
@@teamatz2016how did you manage that special build? I asked the dealership to build my meridian closer to the premium plus but they said it was not doable
@mrpenshi I believe you buy the premium plus, and just add the meridian extras (tires, rims, stickers). That's why his "meridian" has the normal headlights. It's actually a premium plus with meridian extras.
@@bonilla1240 Yup. That explains it. Thanks!
This is not even an off-road vehicle 🤣
My corolla could drive that flat trail. lol
@@hookedonfishing2095 I’m not familiar with that trail or what’s under the water, but you are probably correct. sorry you have to drive a Corolla tho
With the lift & bigger tires it sure looks like one 🤔

great video. enjoyed it!
Sick, appreciate the cx-50 meridian content. Loving mine so much my lady just grabbed a cx5 to match 😂
So ya’ll left both rav4 down the hill to camp with the little boyz 😂
Broooo ur crazy!!! Camping n the rain?!? Yeah u a different kinda savage for tht1!
donde compraste las llantas y los rines para la CX-50?
The rims are a stock Meridian option. The tires can be purchased from any tires company but mine came with the lift kit.
@@teamatz2016 los rines siguen siendo los mismo?, se ve mas grande el rin de la izquierda
@@sebassanchez437creo que era un antes y después, por eso se mira uno más grande que la otra. El rin creo que es igual
Oh wow, you didn't buy this? It's like a demo car?
What's the cost of this car? And the lift kit w install?Where's part II?
Part II just released. Lift kit cost $1950 out the door.
How much ground clearance on that CX 50?
8.3
What top speed did you get with the tent on top?
how much did it cost total for lift job?
1950.00
Now that looks bad ass.
Is this a 2023 or 2024 meridian?
2024
amazing video I enjoyed every minute of it ❤
Part II coming soon
I hit my CX50 premium plus turbo also riding with the nittos. But have had bad luck with at 20k miles Already had it in the dealer for 2 months with some sort of cylinder malfunction. Hopefully that would be the end of my issues and could keep it for another 3-5 years like my Toyotas.
Nice job, bro!!! Next time, start the video with popping a cold one as the intro..fav key highlight..led bar light..Acura joke..lift kit installation.. over all, mazda should make that an oem part number for a lift kit so we can install them at star mazda!! Abel
How did you get the 360 cam and HUD on the Meridian edition?
Special order from Mazda. I think they just took a Premium Plus package and added Meridian logo, wheels and tires.
That's what I was looking for in the comments. Ventilated seats too? That sounds like the perfect build. I was always looking for TPP, and putting on my own wheels and tires. I did notice your vehicle didn't have the headlight surrounds like a "true" Meridian.
@@teamatz2016 which dealer did that for you?
@@videomaker318 It's in the video 😆 watch again. Any dealer can do it if they want. If your local dealer is not sure have them watch this video.
@@teamatz2016 Ah. So Young Mazda is where you did the Premium Plus (and Meridian edition) order and the 2 inch lift. I was curious not about the lift but the Premium Plus and Meridian edition package(s).
Hi ..some customer reports said that Mazda CX 50 it’s so uncomfortable for long trips and also its transmission isn’t independent is that truth ?
Both my wife and I were comfortable. Just like any long trip it's always good to get out and stretch. I think you mean the transmission isn't dependable? Again we had no issues and those I know with CX5 and CX-50 don't have issues either
@@teamatz2016 great information Sir I’m a Toyota’s fan but I’m seriously considering switching to Mazda CX50 I heard that the 2024 premium model comes with an individual rear suspension which makes it nice and smooth on difficult terrain//super video muchas gracias 👍
I have the exact same CX50 as this one. The CUV has a sporty ride but is comfortable. The roof rack is noisy. If you don't need it, take it off for HW trips. The transmission is one of the most reliable made. Mazda uses the 6spd transmission in all their AWD cars. Unlike CVTs many competitors use, it is robust and well sorted. Toyota and Mazda share a plant in Alabama and Toyota uses Mazda transmissions in some of their cars. Mazda is consistently rated as one of the most reliable car companies in the world.
