2 cups long-grain rice
1/4 of a small onion
2 cloves of garlic
10 oz mixed vegetables
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 cups of water or chicken broth

My goodness does this look so delicious ❤. My mom taught me to make the white rice using sweet canned corn and using the corn liquid to cook the rice . It gave it a sweet, nutty flavor that makes my mouth water 😊 Your recipes are always so yummy ❤

Definitely trying your recipe for Arroz Blanco Simply Mamá! So the rice is also fried but the difference here,we don't add the water with buillion cube and the tomato puree. Mine lives mainly off of carbs and bananas. He has chicken nuggets every once in a while and once in a blue moon he may want a hotdog.
@@chellagirl3664 My son will dabble with chicken nuggets, but mostly he'll just push it away 😞 He only just recently started eating cheese. But still every food he like is in the brown/beige category
@@KSGomez88 mine love Colby Jack cheese sticks and cheese pizza. We make it homemade, he likes to help with the dough. Mine also only liked nuggets from McDonald's because they are the battered ones, not breaded. The breaded texture gets him Everytime. But recently he tried the ones from Popeyes and liked those. He is almost 7 and it took him a long time to get this far. I hope your kiddo will try more things soon. 😁 Hugs to you.

What kind of Cheese did you use, mentioned after the Sour Cream?

Mexican sour cream is thinner than regular sour cream. You could probably add some milk to thin the regular out. I don’t find there is much of a difference in taste. The cheese she mentioned is Cojita cheese. It is similar to Feta in texture but salty like Parmesan. Absolutely delicious.

You use frozen vegetables so what’s wrong with minute rice it’s just freeze dried right?
Why is it that you never have the correct ingredients on hand when you’re demoing a recipe?
Today was the rice; you say to use long grain but you didn’t have any.
You do that often so just wonder why you don’t properly prepare?
Never is a very long time, especially towards the end.
I’ve often wondered about that as well. I even wondered if it was on purpose to make her more relatable? It seems a little odd. But I love this channel.
