Easy to use. This version does not have a digital timer ruclips.net/user/postUgkxRDB_bcaZEIluKD5LMPVlvPAA2E1HbFNo but to be honest the analog timer works well --- plus when cooking you often check things and there is probably a clock on your stove, one on your phone, on your wall, etc ...We have cooked a few things using the air fryer, some with the bake/air fryer combo. Also, it toasts bagels perfectly ... or as perfect as you can heat up bread. The air fryer basket takes some scrubbing, sometimes, to get it clean --- but that is the same with any wire basket. Maybe one minute if cheese or something gets on it.

    Hey Melissa,
I just recently discovered your channel about two weeks ago, and have been watching all your videos religiously since! I have never been a tidy and clean person, no one really taught me how to do it, and I can tell you that since I have discovered your videos my home is so much cleaner and I have learned so much from you!! You're super motivating and make cleaning fun and not sucha drag!

Aw, Lori, that's great to hear! I can only imagine how challenging it is to do this with kids around, especially if you have kids that no longer participate in the 'tidy up song' fun. A few ideas: you can teach via leading by example, as well as making cleaning not dreadful, chore-like nor stressful. Kids tend to respond better to that. Hope that helps and I am so pleased that these videos have been a help for you.

Great video Melissa! My fiancé is going to be so happy now that I know how to get that plastic mark off the toaster oven! We left our pita wraps in the plastic bag on top of the brand new toaster oven and I thought I ruined it! Now it will look brand new!! Keep the videos coming!

(Part2)I get so caught up in the daily cleaning and picking up I didn't even think about things like"toasters".I didn't even know there was a bottom part that came off.Lame huh? One of the reasons I love your videos is because now I carve out time from the everyday cleaning and do some not so obvious cleaning.I don't even care if anyone notices it! I know and it's a GREAT feeling! I'm learning lots(yes,I should be passing it down to the kids.Maybe tomorrow?)Anyway,Thanks for the "mindset"!

I got my really expensive super nice toaster oven for Christmas because I’m 21 and live in my parents backyard in a 32 foot long camper which only has a gas oven and I don’t feel safe using gas. Anyways just recently cleaned it because I was baking chicken and the juice dripped all over it and stupid me didn’t put the drip tray under the rack but I realized just how nice it was compared to the last junky one I had when I figured out you just pull out a second drip tray and wash that and then stick in back in (let me explain, the main drip tray slides into the rack itself. The second one pulls out from the bottom). My last toaster had to be tipped upside down and the entire bottom opened up to clean the bottom because it didn’t come apart. It made me thankful that this newer version has not only one but two slide out drip trays. It’s actually very similar to the two that yours has.

This toaster you are cleaning is like mine on the inside - mine is a retro version of the old Sunbeam. What makes it hard to clean is the flat metal that holds the toast and the "guides" which are supposed to help the crumbs fall to the bottom. The don't; instead everything sticks to them which are hard to reach - let alone clean.
So here is what I used along with your tools:
    Rubbing Alcohol
Artist paint brush & small Foam paint brush
10" Bamboo chop stick: one end is pointed, the other is square & flat
Bamboo Kabob stick about as long
Green scouring pad that you split in half so its thickness is thin - works like velcro
I dipped the artist brush in the alcohol to dampen all the areas where the crumbs were stuck then used the chop stick to scrape them down. Some areas needed to be repeated to get them off. The Kabob stick got in the tighter areas like corners. The alcohol helped to loosen the grease & burnt stuff from the metal.
I probably should have left the tray in place until the end, but that is where thinning the scouring pad helped. If you wrap it around the chop stick it can be used where the tray goes to reach the fallen crumbs that won't shake out.
I used the foam brush to paint the entire outside with the cream of tartar mix which worked like a polish on both the stainless steel and plastic if you let it sit a few minutes. Gets all the splashed little dots of grease that are so hard to get off without using anything abrasive.
The I finished up with a stainless polish that should help keep the outside easier to clean next time. Also the alcohol dries pretty quick...so no dampness issues there.

Try this mixture....in a spray bottle mix 12oz of white vinegar, 12 oz of Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (so 1:1) and 1 Tbsp liquid laundry soap (I use Purex). Give a little shake to mix. Spray on your glass shower door (I even spray the tile), let sit for about 5-10 minutes, rub the area with a dampened microfibre cloth & then rinse well with your shower head. Easy peasy lemon squeasy...with no scrubbing.
    Hope this helps

Can you help me out answering my question? I cleaned my Hamilton Beach toaster oven with Easy Off and some other harsh chemical and I also cleaned the actual heating rods in the process. What ended up happening was I scraped off some of the protective black layer and now my toaster oven has chemicals inside of it which I cannot remove. Can I slide in a tray with water and let it evaporate on high heat for an hour or is that dangerous? Am I going to poison myself heating food in this toaster oven now?

I have got my popup toaster clean AF. Using a few things:
a 50:50 mixture of “Method” brand all purpose cleaner and a little enzymatic cleaner called “the amazing whip-it”
    non abrasive scrubby ...
    A metal-straw cleaning brush, bent.
    a small artist paint brush.
Use brush for the decrumbing the angled edges. Use a slim fine tipped pointy paintbrush dipped in the organic all purpose cleaner mix, use it to get the corners and any stuck-on-bits using dwell time and keep removing the crumbs... 100% clean.
Ps. You should make a fiber cloth full apron.

I keep my pop up toaster in a cabinet under the counter top, it is on a shallow sided cookie sheet that stays under the toaster where ever it goes thus crumbs are always corralled. When I dust out the toaster I do it in a clean and empty kitchen sink and rinse everything down the garbage disposal.

Use a Magic Eraser, follow the instructions on it exactly (wet it, wring it out completely, etc.)

Hello, I have an aluminum vacuum cleaner with paint on it, I was wondering if you have any suggestions of how to clean that off. Thank you.

Hey there, thanks for the information, but what about the glass door? I use my oven for baking and toasting and there are baked on brown lines like stuff I can't get off with my scrubber. Thanks.

+Susan Alexander I just used some stuff called "bar keepers friend" on my window/door and it went from not being able to see through it to brand new looking. You can get it for a couple bucks at walmart/home depot.

I've seen the barkeeper's friend on the same shelf at the store as Comet and Ajax. Wouldn't all of those scratch the glass?

***** No, i wouldn't worry about that, its a little gritty but its not going scratch the glass :)

Melissa I have a problem concerning calcium deposits on a wall fountain with a faux slate finish. I've tried vinegar and a mild CLR mixture but it won't come off. I'm afraid to use something strong on it without taking the slate finish off. This piece cost over 1000.00 and I can't call the manufacturer because they are out of business :( Any help would be greatly appreciated.
