Is the Ribmaster just as recognized as the PBL2 when it comes to getting employed on yachts? Is one better than the other?
Hiya - it depends on the yacht and whether the yacht wants RYA quals or will consider IYT as an option. RYA tends to be the norm though
Why are the lessons on a RIB when most learners will be buying a cuddy, bowrider or pilot house type craft!
phil ip I would imagine it’s because the vision is so much better on a rib. Makes it that bit easier for people to get the basics
It’s because this is the best boat for manoeuvrability and other factors for a beginner
