    Have a brilliant portrait sketched in the Monmartre on a beautiful day in 1986. Artists were lining the steet near your opening shot in this video. Me and my French boyfriend, each selected an artist and paid for our sketch! I selected a young Chinese artist, who explained he was studying art in Greece and he an fellow students had come to Paris to visit the museums and to earn money sketching tourists. He sketched a gorgeous picture of me. One that to this day I am asked about by anyone who sees it. He signed and dated the Sketch. I have tried for years to identify him by his signature on the painting. I wanted to see where his studies took him in his career as a painter… no such luck! It was a beautiful day and I walked away with a beautiful portrait❤️

      Omg, what a beautiful story 🥰😆! I wonder what happened to the artist! It would be cool if he decided to stay in Paris to be one of the portrait painters in Montmartre! You really got a beautiful souvenir that even after 30+ years, it still reminds you of Paris! I hope he went far in his career as a painter .

      Question
      Here in the U.S. we have a change of time for instance March 10th it’s Daylight savings time so we change our clocks and add an hour. So we lose an hour of sleep but gain more light in the evening the sunsets later.
      Does this happen in France?

    Thanks for the video! How many hours are needed to see most of Montmartre?

    • @dreamsinparis_travel
      @dreamsinparis_travel  10 месяцев назад +1

      You could easily spend a whole day in Montmartre, but 4-5 hours is a good amount of time to see most of it 😀

      Hi, I am so glad the video was helpful. Yes, some shops/restaurants stay open on Sunday but not all so you'll still have some options.
