Bonjour Esther, great video with very real and relevant advice. Let me tell you about my "Faux Pas', it was at a beautiful little bistro named Le Bucheron, I had spent most of the evening drinking with a new French friend and I was a tiny bit tipsy and when that happens I tend to laugh loudly. So the whole place has turned and stared and I died a thousand deaths, I apologised profusely to everyone through the english speaking waiter and everyone was really good and thanked me for apologising. I spent the next month at that bistro and had the time of my life. Dressing appropriately reminds of the girl I saw who couldn't get in to Sacre Cour because her shoulders were exposed, It's great to see you Esther . Cheers mate.
Bonjour Stu, thank you! Hahaha omg I can imagine how embarrassed you felt but I am glad they were cool with it when you apologized. Parisians really take "loudness" seriously. Yes Sacre Coeur is really serious about the dress code. I hope you're staying well😄
Hello, nice video. I can see through out the video people are in jackets and winter wears. Is Paris really so cold right now. As per weather forecast it is around 20-25'C forecast
Thank you 😄 I filmed some of the clips you see in the colder months, but yes Paris has been colder this summer as seen from the clips where I am on camera. Most days have been below 20 degrees lately with the exception of the last few days when it was 20-23 and even with that, there is just too much wind which makes it colder. So if you're visiting soon, definitely come with warm clothes.
Which Paris unspoken rule surprised you the most? And if you know of others not mentioned in the video, feel free to drop them in the comments below for others to learn from you 😍😍
