    Big Tip. The Metro is not mobility friendly. Lots of stairs. The RER system is accessibly by escalator or elevator at all stations. Also, you can take the RER from CDG as an express. The last station at CDG is Terminal One; the next station in Paris is Gare du Nord. This skips several local stations, which is great.

    We were in Paris a few years ago and we were so disappointed with the food. Then we started to venture around smaller neighborhood streets and the difference was night and day.

    Big Tip. Visit Paris in the winter. No one is there. The Louvre Museum is practically empty. The weather is great, only a little bit cold. And if you get lucky like I did once, it might snow. It might sound corney, but Paris is very, very beautiful in the snow. Winter visit. The Christmas decorations are great, in particular, the window decorations at the big department stores. And last, every one of all ages look great in winter clothes; few people look great in a thong. But even fewer look great wearing a fanny pack, cargo shorts, and a Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt. Black winter clothes and a scarf are classic.

    The Petit Palais is so worth a look, loved on my trip through Paris. And yes, use the Metro, it is what it is there for.

    I have just found your channel and am subscribing! As I have visited Paris several times (and hope to again) I can associate with these things you point out. Some of which I wish I had known then. I really appreciate you pointing out about the water. I, too, cannot stand all of the one use plastic bottles that are part of the environmental problems. I do not use them but I was not sure about the water quality in the free fountains. I did use RER , bus, and metro and stayed in the Latin Quarter. I did a lot of walking but a lot of it when I was lost. As a last resort when lost I did use a taxi. Again, most useful tips are all in your video. merci beaucoup.

    My family is visiting Paris in Dec with 3 toddlers. Will bring a stroller as obviously they will get tired walking. Pros and cons of bringing one?

    • @LoveandParis_
      @LoveandParis_  10 дней назад +1

      Many Métro stations don't have a lift, so you'd be taking the stroller down plenty of stairs if you choose that travel option. Some streets/tourist destinations are also quite busy, but there will always be room for a stroller, so if you think it will be easier - definitely take one :)

      Disney is stupid, the antithesis of culture. Nobody is obliged to go there, even with children.
