Antoine and Colleen, you are such effervescent, lovely presenters. Thank you for all the information you share, bringing Paris and other parts of France to life for we the viewers. ❤
We had lunch at Cafe Restaurant Suzanne today. It was excellent - the food quality and their location were perfect for a visit to Sacre Coeur while avoiding the tourist crowds just a couple of blocks away.
It’s very enjoyable watching these videos . This couple seem like genuinely nice people and have a nice easy relationship. Thank you for doing these videos
Our all time favorite place to eat has been Chez Andre at 22 Rue Marburf. We have been going to this place for over twenty years and always eat there at least twice per trip. They have all the comfort food which we love!
I watched many of your videos before my trip to Paris with my wife and l’m so thankful l did! My wife had wanted to go to a fondue spot that looked like a complete tourist trap and she came to her senses upon arriving. We decided to bail and l told her, “follow me….Bouillon Pigalle is very close by.” We went and enjoyed a quintessential Brasserie experience for very little money. Thank you for the recommendation, it was delicious!
Hello nice couple, good suggestion, I can’t wait to try them wen I travel to France…one thing I like about ur blog u always mention the price & cost to eat in a particular place, have a nice day & always take care…
Yay!!!! I’m so happy that one of my restaurant stops made your list! I went on a solo trip and I wasn’t prepared for the uphill climb and the winding staircase when I left the metro. I was so winded and tired and saw that cute restaurant that I decided to stop for lurch. It was so delicious and the view was amazing. I also chatted with some English diners that were so friendly and courteous that they took a pic of me there so I could remember my experience. I hope to go back to Le Relais de la Butte! ❤️
Slowly liking the content you are building up and even stepping into the photography and research side in the travels. I've been watching the videos for some time, but I've noticed the video, composition, planning and not to mention the time and effort that goes into these videos are really showing results and improvement. thank you for sharing and you gained a new subscriber! look forward, to more videos and recommendations foods, places, experience.
Aaah ! The memories came.flooding back ! 27 years ago , I lived in Rue Caulaincourt in a ground floor studio flat, and at the entrance to the courtyard on one side was a boulangerie and the other side was a Franprix ! I was spoiled for choice re food! I worked for a famous French actor couple for 2 years there in that neighborhood and I ate with them at many great local restaurants..If you walk down towards Barbes, the smells of Tagines and Couscous on Fridays would be tempting ! Haven't been back for a while , I am sure it has changed a lot . Do you think your audience would like a tour of cuisine from les Antilles, Afrique du Nord, Senegal etc ?
My wife and I are planning 6-week trip to Europe this summer (June, July, August) We love watching your food videos. We are putting a list together of your recommendations. The hard part will be narrowing them down. Thanks for doing an amazing job!!!
We have just came back from our Paris trip from the UK, we took a gamble on your channel and recommendations and we were not disappointed we managed to get to 3 of them with Bouillon Pigalle being our favourite, it was so excellent we visited twice, great value. You two are great and entertaining, thank you 😀
I really enjoyed this tour. My favorites in Monmarte are sill La Maison Rose 2 Rue de l'Abreuvoir, 75018 Paris, France (Pink house café Monmarte) and L'Ete en Pente Douce at the east end of the stairs from Sacre Cour. Love the recomendations for sure. You folks have the best video VBlog suggestions. Cafe Suzanne sounds amazing.
Thanks for this comment! My daughter and I will be in Paris in September and plan to get a reservation at Maison Rose. I have seen a few not so great reviews so I’m happy to see it’s someone’s favorite! Would love to hear other opinions as well.
I was in Paris last summer and ate at Le Relais de la Butte more than once, I second the recommendation! The food and wine was great, and I loved the service - we loved a particular cheese from the cheese board, and there was no problem with ordering an off-menu mini-cheeseboard with just that. We actually stayed at the Timhotel just across the square - it's no frills, but a reasonable price and given the location a pretty good choice if you're spending most of your day out and about.
Let me add one. Seb’on. I brought my best friend and his wife to Seb’on. It was a wonderful experience and we sat and chatted for hours dining on wonderful food and wine. They had never been to France or anywhere in Europe and I was their guide showing off the city. They had a wonderful time. 7 months later he died protecting a child from danger. Although it broke my heart, at his wake, several people came to me and said “you’re the guy who took George to Paris, he couldn’t stop talking about it” and hugged me for giving him that experience. I will never go to Paris without also going to Seb’on and toasting my best friend.
Another well-produced and helpful video. Duck confit is one of my favorite things to eat, so Le Petit Canard is huge find for me. A lot of other lesser known gems in here too. Well done!
I second the recommendation that you add Le Bon Bock to your list. I had the escargots and chicken in Camembert sauce - not to be missed! And it’s the oldest restaurant in Montmartre
Je m'appelle Marie Denise. When I went to Paris by myself in '12 I had heard of a well known restaurant...Chez Denise. I was to be meeting a French woman, via a friend, and I told her I wanted to eat there! So she took me there. Delish. Also, I stayed in Montmatre in a hostel. On my daily walks around the area, I stumbled upon a bistro off the beaten path, Chez Marie!! I had to eat there too!! Such memories!!!
How can Antoine have almost no accent? It’s amazing! I just love your videos and have binged almost all of them. Thank you for your insight and great “insider” recommendations. I always want to eat at and visit places the locals go. So thank you also for including those. Take care. On y va!!
Oh my! Guys, so much food for thought! I just love seeing the sights of Paris through your vlogs! I cannot wait to go back to Paris and wander round those delicious streets that you show us! Need to get my hip replacement surgery first though!😩😬 Keep doing what you do, just love it!👍❤️
That’s on our hit list for tomorrow. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us today., I know how busy ye both are but I had to say! I’d have regretted it if I did. Ye are more beautiful in person than on video too Colleen you were glowing.. And I’ll keep watching. I’m after fallin in love with Paris so weather it’s with my sons or my husband I’m coming back Thank you again and that you for the pictures xx
We ended up going to Bouillon Pigalle for steak and fries And OMG was it beautiful! Melt in your mouth. I meant it when I said we plan out days around your suggestions. Thank you again. I’ve fallen in love with paris so I will definitely be back! It was the most beautiful bonding session with my son. Memories are worth more than any money! Lots of love x
We just returned from Paris and tried both Cafe Suzanne and Bimbo. Both were spectacular. There was smoking outside Bimbo, which was unpleasant, but the food was great. Cafe Suzanne was the best food we had all week. Thank you for the recommendations.
Great video! Some really good selections here! If I can add a couple: Marcel, on Avenue Junot, is a really cute local restaurant on a quiet street with some really good food. Also, Hardware Societé, on Rue Lamarck near Sacré Coeur, has a phenomenal brunch. Be prepared to wait during peak hours, though.
Another Lovely video! Thank you so much. I especially enjoyed that you featured locations from the movie Amelie. It is one of my all time favorite movies. I can't even tell you how many time I have watched it, because to me it is a feel good movie. Your videos are feel good moments for me as well. Thank you again!
Truly enjoyed watching your show - wonderful job. I plan on visiting next early week February 2023. I plan on visiting some of the places you have recomended.
We were so happy to randomly meet you guys this day!!! We had reservations at la boîte aux lettres so we saw you recording over there too hahaha! Love your videos!
Montmartre is my fav place in Paris, kind of a strange video that you began with "my worst meal ever was in Montmartre, and then never ate at any resteraunt at all. Strange video from you guys, but your still a fav on my Paris videos.

Thanks so much for all your videos,, i was just in paris in July and also 3 years ago and cant wait to go back. I feel relatively confident in getting around there ,, more and more each time, I am however still intimidated by restaurants that have that Blackboard out front with the menu all in french ,, I know you know what im talking about,, I know you are terribly busy but would love to see a video to help a traveler like me navigate that blackboard. I feel like if i were to sit down at a restaurant that had that i would spend an hour with google translate trying to figure out what each item is so i tend to avoid them which i feel is probably limiting me and keeping me from having a delicious experiance. Thank you !! Keep up the good work !

Will definitely experience where locals eat. i love the selection of restaurants as it is not overpriced.
tellement de restos devant lesquels je peux passer sans m'arrêter déjeuner ou dîner. Purée, je crois que je vais tous les faire
bon ap 😋
