    Question:In the spring loaded position is the outflow valve closed or open in the Manual Mode of operation?
    And if its closed why we need to move it to closed position to increase differential pressure or descend the cabin altitude?

      Hi Faisal, thank you for your comment. The Outflow valve switch is spring-loaded to the center (it means, no command to the outflown valve in MAN mode). If you need to move the outflow towards the open or to the close position, you have to keep holding the outflow valve switch (FCOM2). According to the QRH, it can take up to 20 seconds to completely open the outflow valve.

    Thanks for your great work sir, I got a question here. During climb or descend on manual operation, you said we need to maintain a "comfortable cabin climb or descent rate", is there any specific requirements or recommendations for this climb or descent rate? Some of pilots in my company suggest that +500/-300 fpm would work just fine, and I just want to know your opinion. Looking forward to your reply!

      AMM states 300fpm is “comfortable” but do not exceed 1000fpm
