Been to Culzean castle and it was a lovely visit. The drive there from Glasgow was memorable too. It was part of a day trip I did. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of one of my stays in Scotland.

I have to say this episode has been the most enjoyable day... being at Culzean Castle & Gardens, best of many months. Thankyou. Could have stayed longer. My husband and I have just come back from Ayrshire, and it was nice to recognise the area. It's a beautiful part of Scotland, thoroughly enjoyed it. Great video as usual 👌
We have yet to explore that part of Scotland as we stay in the very far north in the Scottish Highlands. Is there somewhere you’d highly recommend seeing in Ayrshire? As we hope to go one day soon x
@@thehighlandlife2023 brig o down hotel and bridge is very picturesque, it's right next to Robbie Burns birthplace. We also had a drive on the coastal route through Stranraer and Galloway/Dumfries.
It is interesting with robins. We have a baby robin that appeared this summer and just followed us around the garden. It has just started to develop its red colour so it will be fascinating to see it during the winter. Always feels lovely to see how they like to be with humans
That bird eating the frog didn’t bother me just a part of life Oh I love playing Rubbikub I used to play it with my late Mom all the time I miss playing board games with her
My dad worked in several mansions years ago..and he told me the same thing..the servants were out the way or out the back so they weren’t seen. I love robins..so sweet,thoses and black birds some of my favourite . Lots nice cooking times..thanks Carol n Ken 👍
Thank you for a wonderful visit to Culzean, I had many day trips to Culzean when I was a child, there are dozens of photos of me and my siblings sitting astride those cannons. There is a handkerchief tree in the gardens, I grew up thinking that's where hankies came from 😊
Really enjoyed Culzean castle. The grounds were gorgeous too. A riot of colour. You really captured everyone enjoying the spring in this one! So lucky with the weather ( mostly) Curry looked good. Graham’s eyes lit up at the sight of the naan! Safe travels ❤️👍😊

I don’t know why I love these videos as much as I do. Maybe it’s because they are a reflection of our own life while camping in our van. We are currently 6 days into a tour of Wales and it’s 3-3 for Kwirkle - the game we play. (I’m not telling hubby about Rummikub as he is a former mathematician and I’d stand no chance of winning!)

I did a 5k run around Culzean about 10 years ago, but I didn't get to see any more than that. It was so lovely to have a walk around with you. I love the music as always. Bit of a shock to see our happy faces pop up at the end, though 😂 We're looking forward to next week's episode ❤ x

Worth a visit more than Ayr sadly a bit run down now. Hope you enjoyed the Lorne sausage (square slice) oh, and Culzean pronounced (Cullane) haste ye back
Wow, delightful 😄 The castle is definitely on the list for a future visit, as is the CL, despite the loo issue 😄🚽 We always carry our EHU, just in case. We love Mackies ice cream, not seen the little tubs before, makes sense at a tourist attraction the size of CC😄❤️🚐. What amazing weather, we had dreadful weather earlier this week on the Gower, such a contrast to our trip this time last year on the Isle of Wight. Here's to next year. I enjoy watching all of your videos, but these recent ones in my neck of the woods have been extra special. I think the blue flowers you spotted at Culzean were Harebells. Having now witnessed a crow with a frog in it's throat, I think I've seen it all!
