Just finished making this super cute hat for a cousin (11-years-old) who is going through chemo and has lost all of her hair. Thanks so much for the excellent tutorial.

Worked well, and looks good thank you. I will need to fold the brim up, as it turned out much too big. I will make another using a 4.5 mm hook.

I was excited to do this, but audio kept going out. Specifically, the first row after the chain five. Could've used a little instruction..

I am a beginner crocheter and want to make chemo hats to donate. My stitches do not match your suggested measurements. Currently I am trying the adult large. to get the 19" and 62 rows I have to use a 7 mm hook and you are using a 5 mm hook. I am not done yet only on the 2nd 2-6 rows. Comparing your photo to my work my stiches look a lot looser and have more space between the stiches. My understanding the chemo hats should be closer together to make it a warmer hat. What am I doing wrong or do you have any suggestions? Not sure how to send you a photo of my work

Are you using the same weight yarn? It could also be that you are crocheting really tight, often loosening your tension can help. There are various factors, especially when first learning, it may just take some more practice as well.

I’m making the adult small, I’m a little confused. You state to have 58 rows and to continue until the brim is 18’ but if it’s 18’ I have way more than 58 rows. What am I missing???

I am having the exact same problem and I've tried going up two hook sizes, crocheting more loosely, and switching yarn, and nothing helps. Any help available?

Kim: I am left handed and watched the video. I am trying to figure out what is different for me to work on this? Is there anyone out there who can help me??? Thank you!

I have a left hand crochet friend & she watches the videos in a mirror which reverses it. She has also watched me crochet in a mirror

Please re-upload with full audio. This video only has a few minutes of sound.
Or, update the written pattern to match. From what I can see, you repeat rounds 2-6 three times to get the correct height of the beanie, however the written pattern only says to repeat them twice.
