same with me. i love it, i think its very well done but 200??? i saw a lot in my area but just couldnt do it. i love all 2XOs but i think the others could stand to be priced at 85, and gem of kentucky could stand to be as low as 125, but i could pay 150. when you get into multiple hundreds, i get super iffy on ANY bottle no matter how well touted
I am right there with you about the prices! It's so hard to justify spending 200 for something I'm gonna drink. But this was damn good for sure! Cheers 🥃
Hi Jill, I drank a bottle of the Woodinville regular bourbon this week....it's ok, but I really would not give it 3 barrels as did Breaking Bourbon did in 2020! I am with you...there is so much good bourbon under $60. I just can't spend so much!
Dave is extremely generous and I am so grateful for all the samples! I'm with you on the price for sure. It's definitely out of my price range. Cheers!
Been looking for this one for a while. Found one locally and spent the $200+… fantastic pour! Really really enjoyed it. Reminded me of a 108 proof Stagg batch 18.
I read an article that said Dixon Dedman said his favorite Gem of Kentucky were barrels #20-30. So when I saw #21, I picked it up. I really enjoy it, but not sure it is worth $199. I also just picked up the newest 2XO, which is The Kiawah Blend. It is very good and my favorite so far of his $99 offerings. 🥃
Dave I think I saw that same article! And this is soooo good, but that price tag is pretty high. I'm sure gonna be looking for some of the other offerings. Thank you again!
The only 2XO I own it the American Oak, the rest based on reviews I saw were overpriced so I passed. I may have a sample in the mix that I still have yet to try. 🥃😎
Another great review miss! Just saw that the 1st live has been scheduled. Canf wait. Cheers🥃
I hope you can be there for the live! I'm nervous, but it'll be a good time. Cheers Albert!
Had fun on the live miss. To didn't seem very nervous at all. Can't wait for the next one. Cheers🥃

I'm with ya! It's just hard to justify the price. But it was mighty tasty for sure! Cheers 🥃
No one is more generous than Dave. I really enjoy Gem of Kentucky but the price keeps me from buying. Appreciate the review

It is a fantastic pour and I'd love to own a bottle. Cheers!

I don't own any, except for this sample. But I definitely wanna try others, just not for 200. Cheers!
