J Rieger Private Stock

We've got a HAZMAT on our hands....or in our glass. This comes in at 142.6 proof. Is it hot? Is it just gonna taste like ethanol? These are all the questions I had before I took a sip. Holy cow was I surprised! Let me know if you've ever tried anything from J Rieger and what you thought about it.

Thank you for giving this bourbon a try! So glad you enjoyed it. It was a pleasure to work with the Indiana Bourbon Club on this barrel pick. We are loving the higher proof juice we are getting out of our barrels at this age! And to clarify, yes it is distilled, aged, and bottled right here in our distillery in Kansas City. The juice in this bottle is amazing! I was expecting to need a couple drops of water, but it was perfectly perfect with out it! I would love to visit and just may work on planning a trip! Thanks for watching! Cheers!

That sounds like a great bottle. Love the proof on that! I have a shelfer of theirs at 92 proof, and while not something that will blow you away it was a really solid bottle. Cheers!
