@@HECTORCAMPOS-eg2lo for a Mumbaikar who lives in Mumbai , this city is average but ask any non Mumbaikar from other parts of the country who casually visit Mumbai for their feedback regarding Mumbai , they will be full of praises. It's definitely India's best city .
And FYI, I am a Bengaluriga (Bangalorean ) who has lived in Mumbai. It's a futuristic city. India's first cities to have 5G networks were Mumbai Hyderabad Chennai and Delhi.

Its already a great city, but politicians didn't do much about its infrastructure and continued from whatever was left from the British era. Only in the last decade and a half we are witnessing transformation in the city's infrastructure and landscape

Thanks Anuj for this video, took me down memory lane. When my family first came down to Bombay, we lived at 'A' Road, Marine Drive at Churchgate. I worked at Nariman Point. Later on we shifted to Colaba Navy Nagar, as my father was serving in the Indian Navy. All these routes of Marine Drive, Churchgate, Fort, Colaba, were my usual routes. I loved all these places. Now I am living at Lokhandwala, Andheri West. Beautiful video.❤❤

Transformation of Bombay (Mumbai) is underway and it is looking better and better. I was there for two weeks in 2016 (Jan & Feb) noticed changes, but this is unbelievable. Traffic has become a major issue and constructing new byways will (hopefully) solve the problem of traffic congestion.

@@ameyatikhe3336lol so do I 😅 those markings and pedestrian infra that you claim have gone were anyways temporary structures and installations, which were meant to last only until the time the G20 was held , most of it was dismantled after the event. Even if they would be kept for posterity, a lot of activists would be dashing off PILs in the court arguing that they can damage the environment or pose security threat and blah blah blah.
Some Road markings are very much there.

Granted that our country has numerous hurdles and challenges but this gave us a new sense of belief that we are capable of hosting international and multilateral events.
And in case you are not aware, multilateral events and summits like these are held across the world and have certain protocols at venues of the event , right from the fixtures and installations to security , route of cavalcades of the participating delegates. Most of them are temporarily constructed and dismantled after the event concludes, some of it discarded as scrap or auctioned, some of it even reused for some other purpose, in a sustainable and profitable manner. If you still feel it's a "pointless waste of government funds" , you always have the RTI to your aid , seek information about from where they got the funds.

I never understand what's the issue with Mumbai roads. It's never laid in one continuous lane. There's so much of patchwork everywhere. It's not smooth/level. Makes it a bit unaesthetic.

Anuj has gone through those parts of Mumbai that haven't changed in a long time. It is really nostalgic for someone like me who recollects those buildings on Marine Drive and so on. Check out his other videos if you want to see the newer side of Mumbai.
