Such a wonderfully well produced reel on-site at Mumbai International AirPort! The newest livery to Air India is quite telling, with its newest motif being highered in the new color schematics. Very beautiful indeed. And the pilots inside the cockpit if IndiGO Air is just very warming too, as we watch the parade of aircraft queuing up for takeoff! So enjoyable!
What a marvelous video being a mumbaikar and an aeroplane enthusiast this peaked my interest, I just loved how while showing the atlas queen the air india queens were in the background, awesome shot.

This vid showed up on my feed. My home airport is SFO and Air India flies in from 3 cities, always the B777-200LR. Flights can last more than 16 hours! I was one of the first in the USA to get the new liveried A350 in 1:200 diecast model. I love the new design. It’s very contemporary. And I enjoyed your video too. Nice use of commentary in each frame.

Most stressful job as pilot. I am not making both my sons pilot. Working as pilot from last 16 years. Please do genuine survey. There is no family time. CASUAL LEAVE HAVE TO BE APPROVED. PL ARE MOSTLY REJECTED. One small accident injury can make you unfit for the job. Medical issue can also make you unfit for the job. As a father I am not growing any hopes in my sons that I will make you pilot.

I interned at AI Services for about 2 weeks during my college days in 2018. During my lunch breaks, many of us used to come out at sit near those hangers at 7:12 and watch takeoffs. Such fun time. FYI: during my time there, those B747s were getting stripped off for their parts to maintain other planes.

After a few years I happened to see off some one for Abu dhabi , from so close when the only Airport , Santa cruz had a complete open viewing gallery from where you could even talk to the passengers , who were approaching / leaving the aircraft .
Absolutely agree. Airbus should open FAL in India, as you said at 8:36. However, recently airbus has instead decided to expand their china facility. Government should put pressure as well as give some incentive to airbus to open a FAL in India. However, at the same time, airbus does not want to spend 2-3 yrs setting up a FAL for the A320 neo that might go out of production by 2035. So let's see what happens.
Indigo is their biggest narrow body customer and is also ordering over 500 of the A320 family aircraft. They should pressure Airbus to start an assembly plant! If not the entire aircraft then at least larger sections of it. I'm sure the government will support this decision as well!
Nice video made special by the A 340-600 whose days are numbered. I have traveled on this specific aircraft wherein all the bathrooms are below passenger deck and are spacious. Also, rare sight of Atlas VIP chartered passenger aircraft. You typically only see Atlas 747 Cargo aircraft around the world.
Vaibhav you have always shown us the magnificent flying machines , we would also like you to zoom in on those charming pilots flying them , would you please , in your coming videos ?
And this particularly A340-600 is one of the rare few left to have the upgraded engines. I believe it was the longest commercial aircraft until the 747-8 took it's place. One thing about the older generation engines on the A340 was how under powered they were. It took forever for the plane to take off and gain altitude. But that was changed with the upgraded engines you see here. Which in my opinion should have been on it from the get go.

I have sat in 747 Air india (Used to operate between FRA-BOM), A340 Lufthansa (FRA-BOM) and A380 Emirates(FRA-DXB-BOM). Bro, all 3 are iconic planes. Though Airbus has created monster with A380. I make sure to fly either of two whenever possible from Germany.
Absolutely stunning shots, especially of the -600! LH also operates B747-400s to BOM, so spot them too! I was also spotting that day and was real stoked to spot _two_ A340s! Also, isn’t VT-RTN the first Indian registered Airbus A320 family to have the cockpit mask?

I agree! I have seen some A340s struggle to lift off. Not as bad as the soviet aircraft, but still interesting to see.
