In this edition of #thedailydoug, I'm returning to music from Dire Straits and their song Telegraph Road. I'm making use of the live concert footage from their Alchemy tour in 1983. The music is amazing, with nuanced chord progressions, textural changes and tempo changes, and amazing jams and solos. But, the story behind the song and its lyrics are also worthy of our attention.
