I do like all the safety and convenience features of them! The altitude hold and the auto land are the two I like the most. I had bought a heli years ago and destroyed it quickly trying to fly it! No features like this to help a newb and the poor heli paid the price! Very cool and small enough to fly pretty much anywhere!
I've never gotten into planes or helis for the same reason, pal. I know I'd crash instantly! Lol! But it's honestly pretty tough to crash this little guy. Just watch out for soccer posts! 🤣
Hey Fil that's a pretty cool Helicopter. The auto take-off and land is an awesome feature. It sure didn't look like it was only your second time flying a heli! Nicely done, pal! :D
You can't go wrong with the RTR Hobby Heli's. At least, not with the ones I've reviewed. They're wicked! I've got a CC and Affiliate link in the Desc. Box, too! Save some $$$
When flying an rc helicopter, during take off, you would want to have the chopper facing away from you, with the tail pointing towards you. This way, you'd get the best orientation for optimal control. It's a sweet little heli. Love mine.
@@poorboysrc haha it’s okay, we are all a beginner at some points. As long as you had fun. The RC Era C138 is a great replica of the Bell 206 Jetranger. I have been flying rc helis for five years now, more of a scale flyers, not really into sports flying or 3D stunts. I enjoy real-looking rc helis and I fly them like how the real stuffs do. In rc buggy world, the RC Era C138 is like the Tamiya Hornet - aimed for beginners but the more advanced flyers will enjoy it too, if that makes sense 😬 It’s tame, not too responsive, good for relaxing flights after a long day at work :)
If you're a newcomer to R/C helicopters you can't go wrong with this aircraft. It's great for learning orientation (AKA, training yourself to think in terms of the aircraft's perspective) It's so easy to fly that you can get the hang of it in one or two flights. The one button takeoff/landing feature works great. The low battery auto-land feature is great and the flashing LED low battery warning gives you plenty of time to fly it back to you and one-button land it before the low battery auto-land kicks in. I have this aircraft and the Eachine E120, and they have all the same beginner friendly features. They're pretty rugged, come with spare rotor blades...I'd recommend them to any beginner R/C heli pilot. 🙂👍
Great stick work Fil! That looks like it's going to be my brother's Christmas gift. Nice review, great minds think alike. It had my Typhoon H out yesterday, and it's on the bench here at work now. I think i want one too.
Better looking than the beginners pod & boom Helis from the 90's & decent starter with headlight for noob orientations & Kids , this a Helicopter not a Drone , brushed motors & Wind dont like each others. Keep it close & enjoy its details. Good Flight , Mr.
She looks like a nice flyer, but I'm waiting on the FPV racing or freestyle drone video. It's a new world, and you won't get lost with the direction, but don't use anything but acro mode. Otherwise, you will develop bad habits a sim is the key to success for these super fast drones.
@poorboysrc I got the FPV module for my DJI Phantom 3 when I loved in Singapore that gave me the bug. Then I met some drone racers vnd gave that a go. After flying with an assisted drone I had to learn how to fly again using skill not technology. I hope you can try it you will have a blast.
@kanenstuff I will when I'm ready to say goodbye to my bank account. Lol! I know me. I'm gonna LOVE it!!! Haha. I have a feeling ill dive in both feet and go bananas!
@poorboysrc just buy a cheap ready to run kit you can getvsome smaller ones for cheap. Look at UAV Features or Joshua Bardwell they have some good reviews, then yiu won't break the bank.
The tail rotor pitch on the left stick (with throttle) is mode 2. Much more common these days. Mode 1 swaps tail rotor pitch with the left/right cyclic pitch.

No joke, pal. That was my 2nd time, believe it or not. These heli's do all the hard work for you, haha. I love 'em! Thanks for watching, pal! 😁
I take it you fancy getting one Mark hope you fly it on the channel so we can see it.
Looks cool and easy to fly too, awesome.

Right on 👍It's good to see a heli of this size that's able to handle the outdoors & half the price of your hobby shop equivalent
@@scaleworksRC they work so well. Another viewer called it "The Tamiya Hornet of Heli's." 😁
Been looking at helis for a minute now. I think I'm sold on this one. Awesome video my guy

@poorboysrc you get a lot for the price too I feel like. That's a lot of heli for little money

Please for the love of god tighten your blades and set them straight before you take off
Blades do not need to be tightened before take off. They should however, be straightened.
Where is the charger you mentioned?
It's just a USB to USB-C style. You'll see it in the video, but any USB-C will work.
@poorboysrc In other words, there is NO charger.
