I realised he had being in too many bad relationships that I scared him cos I looked too good to be true He had also asked his sister if I could be pretending because he was in the US. I blocked him ASAP, I gave him one week and he had picked on me 4 times and was too emotional. I knew this was a pattern than this man was unstable. You are quite spot on. I could decipher he was nothing like I had ever been with and being with a different kind is not wrong but in this case naaa. I am too light hearted for a man like that. So, next! Plus, he needed to learn not every Nigerian lady will jump at u just for living abroad. When you meet a person you bring your best foot forward but man was bringing his sour foot and showing me all his bad sides at first impression, so I gave him the boot.

Personally, if I meet someone, of course, my interest is based on the face value I have encountered. I like what I see and am willing to explore and seek out if there are nuggets there. What I'm saying is that I may not be inclined to go further with a lady whom I observe is simply "investigating" or assessing me, without also putting her best foot forward to show herself to be of value as well. Her confidence to present her authentic sterling qualities and gracefulness means a lot to me. This shows me that beyond what I liked at face value, there is treasure within. There are two things I wish to emphasize. One: a man meeting a lady should not be expected to automatically pull out all the stops to "secure" her without ascertaining if she is the right one.
