I have a friend who checks all the boxes, like literally everything i pareyd for, he is thoughtful, committed, intentional, invested in my growth spiritually and otherwise, he is my greatest cheer leader, he even includes me in his plans and the peace ehh like we fight but theres this peace i cant explain but like i told my friends, i cant pinpoint a single thing i love about him physically, I'm begining to think I'm just emotionally attached to him. I've been praying about it but just as PL said, ive never heard God about anything so i might not be able to tell even if He speaks about this. I told him to give me time to pray about it though.
You don't like him physically? If you are not physically attracted, well...😅. Pray about it like you said...but I don't see myself marrying someone I'm not physically attracted to no matter how perfect you are in other areas.
God really bless you Pastor Laju. You have SO much wisdom and you REASON with so much intelligence. We hear too much of 'you need to have peace', 'the man needs to be in the same Church', 'You need to have a deep conviction from God' and much more related to 'spirituality'. While all of that is TRUE making such a HUGE decision without also, considering the things you mentioned in addition to character, upbringing and how that affects how they see marriage, attraction, whether you both actually get along! etc etc is an error. You hit the nail on the head when you said, 'make sure you've heard God about other things too'. Soi true because it's not always God o! Sometimes it's really your emotions. And sometimes that peace....is also based on emotion.God help us all to be open to His will outside of our emotions and our flesh😅
