Talking about finding your goals and life purpose before getting married is very important but the truth about this is that it does not apply to everyone that way as some goals reveal over time. Time really reveal alot of things , my advise is that partners should be flexible.

Two additions on expectations: 1) Shared valued and convictions especially on issues that directly affect marriage ie polygamy, s.x and the boundaries around godly s.x. (not sure if i can mention the word on youtube?) 2)Compatibility- both partners maybe born again Christians but not compatible! I have found compatibility helps couples navigate the different phases and seasons during the life cycle of their marriage. Just my thoughts.

I learnt a lot from this video but that thing about a tribe offering their wives is not true o. It’s just a popular saying because they are very nice people and go all out for visitors

What do you lack and think it's important for your partner to have it? How do you need me to be supportive in your business and your spiritual life? What's your thought on family planning and children? Would you like to wait after marriage to have kids? How do you want to raise your children? Spiritual goals What church do we need to attend? What's your thought about their place in God’s plan for their lives? What's your idea of being the spiritual head of the family? Have you ever had the leading of God and how did you navigate it? Conversations about extended family? What's your idea of these people and how do we intend to deal with them after marriage Decision making Secrets and health conditions Life Goals?? Financial plans?? Is your money our money??
@LajuIren This is just everything. I’m in a position where I am struggling to make my husband understand that I’m now working and I cannot do a lot of house chores and I need help. Even though he was doing them before. I also feel that he is not supportive the way I want him to be in where God is taking me to right now. 😢
