Sad backstory. The day after filming was finished, the plane Cruise’s character flew, was destroyed when a careless local pilot slammed into the side of a hill trying to scud run due to poor weather. Unfortunately, on board in the backseat was a very famous helicopter and plane pilot for the movies, whose flying skills and camera systems were used in movies like the Transformers. Amongst many others.
