Disagree strongly with your first sentence (and its grammar ;). I watch many old classics and while there's an inescapable element of taste, I defy anyone to name an actor who played such a variety of roles so convincingly. The great actors of the past tended to be "one-note" actors. You knew them for essentially one role. Tom Cruise (and a few other actors, such as Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, and Sandra Bulluck) can play any character in a first-rate way. Unless a German accent is required. :) To me, that's the hallmark of a great actor. However, one could choose any number of other criteria to inform one's decision. @@claudiocorleone7856

If Tom Cruise was breaking the law, i would leave it up to the relevant authorities to deal with it . i dont care . The world would be a much nicer place if more people kept their mouths shut and minded their own business. Dont you agree ? :)

Massive respect for Mr. Cruise. Also, on the interviews and talk shows I've seen him do? He NEVER talks trash about ANYBODY, always has good words to say. Funny guy, great actor.

@@graycleary Every religion is hilarious. I mean, believing that God made only 1 male and female and then they populate the Earth... You HAVE to be stupid to believe that. Noah with saving all the species in the World or even Moses with walking 40 years for a couple weeks walk.
